Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’ Gets Re-Release in Theaters for 20th Anniversary

Can you believe that 2006 was 20 years ago? (That was 10 years ago, max…right?) Iconic filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his best film (in my humble opinion), Pan’s Labyrinth. It’s getting a re-release in theaters, so fans can enjoy the lush, dark fantasy movie on the big screen again (or for the first time).

Del Toro’s magnum opus premiered on May 27, 2006, at the Cannes Film Festival before debuting in Spain on Oct. 11 and in Mexico on Oct. 20 that year. Also called El laberinto del fauno in Spanish, the film had a limited run in the US starting on Dec. 29, 2006, before a wide release on Jan. 19, 2007. In total, it grossed approximately $83.8 million globally on a budget of $19 million.

Pan’s Labyrinth follows an imaginative young girl in 1944 Francoist Spain, who meets “a faun who tells her she’s a princess and that she must prove her worthiness by completing three dangerous tasks.” The universally lauded film stars Ivana Baquero as Ofelia, Sergi López as Vidal, Maribel Verdú as Mercedes, Doug Jones as Fauno, Ariadna Gil as Carmen, and Álex Angulo as Doctor Ferreiro.

Del Toro directed from his own screenplay. Fellow Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón produced Pan’s Labyrinth alongside del Toro.

On the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the film currently boasts a 95% on the Tomatometer and a 91% on the Popcornmeter. Critically, it was well-received. It even has a 98/100 score on Metacritic, making it the best-reviewed movie of the 2000s on the site.

Today, Cineverse, which acquired the North American distribution rights for Pan’s Labyrinth, unveiled a trailer to promote its highly anticipated re-release in theaters. Partnering with Fathom Events, audiences can expect to see the movie in all its glory on Oct. 9, 2026, the same date as del Toro’s 62nd birthday.

American Airlines Finally Announces New Perk for Customers

It’s no secret that American Airlines has been falling behind Delta and United in the race to provide premium offerings to high-paying customers. However, American is finally making a move to close that gap at one of the country’s most important airports.

On Tuesday, American Airlines announced that it will be adding a new grab-and-go lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport by the end of this year, marking its first new facility at the important airport in four years.

New Lounge at JFK

The new lounge, called “Provisions by Admiral Club,” will be a 3,700-square-foot space that will include a barista bar with hot and iced coffee drinks as well as hot and cold food travelers can grab quickly on their way to or coming from a flight.

Unlike a traditional lounge experience, this space is designed for speed and efficiency while still serving those premium customers.

“JFK is a busy hub where our customers make a lot of connections, and this space allows us to better match the pace of our customers’ journeys,” said American’s Chief Customer Officer Heather Garboden in a statement. “The Provisions by Admirals ClubSM space creates a more flexible lounge experience — one that combines thoughtful design, elevated beverages and quick access to fresh options, all while helping serve more customers, more efficiently. By listening to our customers and understanding how they move through the airport, we’re adding even more convenience, bringing premium access closer to where many of them begin their travels.”

These types of grab-and-go lounges are increasingly important in busy airports. Not only do they provide more flexible options for travelers who don’t have the time for a full lounge experience, but they actually help ease traffic and overcrowding at main lounges, as well.

Big in the Battle With Delta

While the primary goal of this lounge is obviously to serve the premium customers at JFK, it’s also an important move in American’s continued battle with Delta.

While Delta might have the strongest foothold at JFK of all carriers, American does run several important routes out of the airport that exist in direct competition with Delta. These routes include transcon flights to LAX and SFO, where American runs its premium Flagship service to compete with Delta’s premium offering, Delta One.

The customers on these routes are typically the high-spending customers that American has been losing to Delta and United in recent years. So ramping up its offerings at JFK is significant, even if American does not see the same share of traffic that it does at some of its other major hubs.

After adding no new facilities at JFK for four years, this is a long overdue move for the airline.

Expert Warns of ‘Serious Data Protection Issue’ For All Airplane Travelers

When you go on a trip this summer, it might be tempting to snap a quick photo of your boarding pass to share with your friends and followers before boarding your flight, maybe to brag about your plans a little bit. However, one expert warns that this is a bad idea.

While sharing a photo of your boarding pass to your Instagram story may seem harmless, one expert strongly warned against it, calling it a “serious data protection issue” that could expose your personal information, even if it’s concealed.

Protect Yourself

The United Kingdom-based legal service HD Claims warned recently that scammers can actually obtain personal information from your boarding pass even if you think it’s concealed.

The scammers do this by scraping the personal data from a QR code or a barcode on the boarding pass, even when the main personal information is covered up.

“This isn’t just about social embarrassment; it’s a serious data protection issue,” Adam Douglas, legal expert at HD Claims, shared in a statement to Travel + Leisure. “If your ID or travel account is compromised as a result, you could end up footing the bill or losing your holiday altogether.”

Given just how easy it is to obtain personal information from the boarding pass, the firm recommends shredding and destroying all boarding passes and travel documents, as they have observed cases where tickets have even been picked out of hotel trash cans.

Not Even Your Friends

While it might not seem like a big deal to share a photo with just your closest friends, that is also risky, with one traveler learning that the hard way.

Last year, a TSA agent by the name of Harmony, who now has a new career as a travel creator, shared a different example of why you should never share a photo of your boarding pass on social media.

Harmony shared a clip that he came across on social media showing a woman who learned that lesson the hard way. The woman, who had never flown on a plane before, posted a picture of her boarding pass on her “close friends” list on Instagram. Someone actually used that information to cancel her flight without her knowing and canceled her flight.

“The day comes where this girl has to fly. She goes to the airport and realized somebody has canceled her flight,” Harmony said in the video. “Somebody canceled that girl’s flight. I don’t know why she didn’t check her emails, but somebody canceled her flight.”

Needless to say, it’s never a good idea to share that sort of information with anyone, even if it’s just your friends.

6.26 Friday Faves

Hiiii! Happy Friday! What’s going on this weekend? P has double soccer games and double basketball game, Liv and I are seeing a musical and grabbing lunch with friends, and looking forward to some pool time at home.

No concept of personal space:

P and I spent one whole day swimming this week and it was everything. We learned that Lola loves to be pushed around the pool on the raft,

we ate gluten-free Cheeze-Its and popsicles, blasted 90s country music, played fetch with Maisey, tons of water games (one ridiculous one where she dunks me if I don’t know which color she has in her mind), and floated on pool loungers. The liiiiiiiife.

I hope you’re having the best summer, too!

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves roundup! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below.

6.26 Friday Faves

Fashion, beauty, random:

Date night with the Pilot. He was gone a ton the past two weeks, so I was excited that we could sneak away one evening for dinner and cocktails at Flying V.

We haven’t been there in forever and they completely renovated the restaurant. It’s bright and modern, and giving Scottsdale vibes in the best way. The food was amazing as always.

(chips, guacamole, shrimp cocktail, prickly pear margaritas. I ordered the chicken for my entree and he had the tuna; everything was delicious)

Sending this beauty back to Vivrelle but looking forward to something new! They gave me a special discount code to share with you, too – use GINAHARNEY403 for 40% off your first three months. This is the best one I’ve seen them offer. You’re going to love it!

Always the Farm Rio 😉

(Love this print and style but a heads up this dress runs really weird and small. I am a proud member of the IBTC and a true size small and could barely clasp the top portion)

Father’s Day celebration! I’m so glad our favorite guy was in town and we could celebrate.

We had brunch at Snooze,

and then the fam came over for swimming and dinner. I smoked three types of meat on the Traeger: two giant chuck roasts, two briskets (from ButcherBox), and four packs of chicken thighs.

Some of the meat!

I made a Caesar salad with homemade dressing and homemade gf croutons,

some artichoke dip, set out chips, salsa, madre brought over calabacitas, cheesy potatoes, my stepmom brought this fruit plate,

and we had popsicles, gf brownies with pb frosting, and peach cake for dessert. 🙂 It was the perfect way to celebrate the amazing guys in our family!

Read, watch, listen:

Listening to this right now and it is RIVETING. I had no idea she’s had such a fascinating life (in good ways, and unfortunately in some devastating ways, too) and started acting when she was just months old.

I started watching this with Liv, and while it’s a bit slow, it’s so fun to see so many of the spots we saw in Kyoto. (I have my last two Japan recaps going live next week! It’s taken me forever to write them because I am still suffering from severe Japression.)

Check out this week’s podcast episode with my friend Ashley here! If you’ve had thyroid or any type of hormone issue and still not feeling like yourself, this is a must-listen.

What childhood lessons can you never give up?

Fitness, health, and good eats:

I won’t post the picture because it’s horrible but this recipe was surprisingly delicious. (I had salmon, pesto sauce and pasta on hand and was like why not.) The kiddos loved it and so did Liv’s friend (she lives in the neighborhood and joins us for dinner sometimes).

Our friends at GoMacro sent us some of their new squares to try. They’re SO good. Not as sweet as the original bars, but the flavors have been great and they have the same quality ingredients. I have a GoMacro bar almost every day (so does P!) and it’s fun to switch up the flavors.

Organifi is having a Prime Day promo today for an extra 10% off and you can stack my code FITNESSISTA here. If you buy 3 products, you get a Harmony free! My favorite products are the Green, Gold, Red, Harmony, Shilajit gummies, and hydrogen water tablets <— I use one almost every day. Check it out here.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! Have an amazing weekend and I’ll see ya soon!

xoxo

207: What Your Doctor Isn’t Testing | Thyroid, Hormones, and Getting Real Answers with Ashley Cruz Arata

Hi friends!

I have a brand new podcast episode live, and today we are talking all about thyroid health, hormones, and why so many women are being told they’re “fine” when they are absolutely not.

I’m talking with my friend Ashley Cruz Arata, certified Integrative Health Practitioner and hormone specialist. For years she was dismissed by doctors who her me everything was fine because “all the labs were normal.” Meanwhile, she was dealing with 35 lbs of weight gain, relentless joint pain, brain fog and crippling fatigue. She eventually healed herself and now helps high-achieving women 35+ get the real answers their doctors have been missing. I think you are going to love her.

Check out what we chat about:

  • Why conventional thyroid testing only looks at two markers and why that is a massive problem for millions of women
  • The labs you should actually be asking for, including free T3, reverse T3, TPO antibodies, cortisol, and sex hormones
  • Why intermittent fasting and more cardio can make thyroid dysfunction significantly worse
  • The truth about thyroid medication and why taking it does not mean you are done
  • Two free, easy at-home habits that support your thyroid and cortisol rhythm every single day
  • The protein-before-coffee habit that can completely change how your day feels
  • How stress is silently wrecking your hormones and Ashley’s Sunday night ritual to manage it without adding more to your plate

And so much more!!

207: What Your Doctor Isn’t Testing | Thyroid, Hormones, and Getting Real Answers with Ashley Cruz Arata

The best deals from Prime Day (things you’ll actually use)

Sharing a roundup of my top finds from this year’s Prime Day!

Hiii friends! How are you? I hope that your week is going well! We celebrated Father’s Day, the Pilot and I had a much-needed date night, and P had a soccer friends swim party.

Today, I wanted to share a roundup of the best finds from Prime Day sales.

TBH, this sale can be overwhelming and so many creatorsare sharing their favorite finds. I wanted to make my list a bit smaller, majorly focusing on quality over quantity. Everything on this list is something that we use and love, or that I’m planning on buying. It’s a great time to stock up on some things you need, new products you’ve had your eye on, or maybe order a couple of holiday gifts in advance.

Here are my top picks for this year!

My Amazon storefront has the full roundup for easy browsing, too.

*a little note: this post contains affiliate links which allow me to earn a small commission. Every click and purchase make a huge difference, and I’m so grateful for your support.

The best deals from Prime Day (things you’ll actually use)

House and cooking finds:

This electric kettle. I have a similar one and use it to make tea every single night.

A KitchenAid mixer. We got one for our wedding, alomst 20 years ago, and it still looks and works extremely well.

Little Green Machine. With kids and pets…this is essential.

Great deal on a Dyson cordless vaccuum. Ours died, but I’m thinking of replacing it.

A healthier air fryer. We have a very similar one and I’m so glad that it’s not leeching plastics and chemicals into the food.

An Instant Pot! I use this every.single.day. It’s great for busy school nights and also makes the most perfect rice.

Plastic BPA free wine glasses for poolside wine.

Owala water bottles! We love ours. When I went to create the link, it told me I’ve bought 6 of them!

Kindle. I love having one because it keeps me from scrolling on my phone.

A Ring camera.

The only blender you ever need.

I use these glass meal prep containers every day.

Beauty + skincare:

Medicube capsule cream with PDRN. I recently fell in love with Medicube (like this Vitamin C cream) and their PDRN products are amazing.

This sleep mask. It has zero eye pressure and it’s my go-to for travel and during the summer months when the sun is awake before I’d like to be awake. I’ll wake up around 5am with the sun, put on this sleep mask, and fall bask asleep for a couple more hours or until the dogs wake me up.

Really tempted to try this at-home hair zapper.

My favorite eye cream.

I’ve been using this hair oil once a week and loooove it.

Makeup remover cloths.

The best clean self tanner.

Tokyo recap and why I love Japan

Sharing a recap of what we did in Tokyo, where we stayed and already looking forward to going back.

Hi friends! How are you?? I hope you’re having a lovely morning. I have a lot of content to record today – Healing Code re-launches on Monday! – and am going to catch an upper body workout and the massage chair at the gym.

Today, I’m sharing the first of my Japan posts!

Here are our Japan and Korea recap posts so far:

Seoul recap, what we did and what we ate

Tokyo recap and why I love Japan (this post)

Kyoto itinerary and tips for travel to Japan

What we ate in Japan (and gf picks)

My Korean Head Spa experience

Tokyo recap and why I love Japan

I’ve been avoiding writing this post because the reality is that I have Japression.

Usually I feel a little down after coming home from a trip, but this is next level. It normally hits me hard that I can no longer walk outside all day (it’s way too hot here and Tucson is definitely not walkable), explore new places, spend uninterrupted time with the fam, eat incredible food, and shop all the livelong day. Instead, I’m back to chores, feeding everyone, and cleaning up after feeding everyone lol.

This trip feels different because Japan was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The culture, the way of life, the deep respect, kindness, care, and professionalism, the clean streets, the cleanest food, the scenery… it honestly felt like another planet.

One of the biggest things I noticed was the level of pride people take in everything they do. It didn’t matter if it was a restaurant server, Uber driver, hotel receptionist, convenience store employee, or someone helping us at the train station. Everyone seemed committed to doing their absolute best, and it was inspiring to see. People were kind and welcoming, everything felt incredibly safe, and I felt the best I’ve felt in a really long time while we were there.

I also noticed how healthy and well-groomed everyone seemed. You don’t really see people wandering around in pajamas screaming at each other lol. There’s just this underlying sense of respect for yourself and for the people around you.

What surprised me most was how calm my nervous system felt the entire time. Even though you’re surrounded by bright lights, huge buildings, and tons of people, it never feels chaotic. Everything is so organized and orderly that your body actually feels like it can relax. I didn’t realize how much I needed that feeling until I experienced it. Since we’ve been home, I’ve been trying really hard to bring pieces of that feeling back with me.

I mentioned this in my Seoul recap, but Japan and Korea honestly weren’t my first choice for a vacation. I knew it would be fun, but I felt overwhelmed by the planning and wasn’t sure if they’d be places I’d ever want to visit again. Now I feel so naive because I had no idea how special these countries are. I already can’t wait to go back.

People keep asking if I preferred Korea or Japan, and I can’t choose because they’re so different while also complementing each other perfectly. If you ever have the opportunity to visit that part of the world, do both. I promise you’ll understand the second you experience it for yourself.

And if you do both, I highly recommend starting in Seoul and then heading to Tokyo. It was the perfect combo. 🙂

Here are some of the highlights of our trip:

We stayed in two areas of Ginza.

The first part of our trip was near the Tsukiji Outer Market, where the streets are lined with food stalls, seafood vendors, and the best sushi of your life. (The famous tuna auctions have moved to Toyosu Market, but Tsukiji is still absolutely worth visiting for the food scene!!)

After our Kyoto trip, we stayed in Ginza proper, which was a lovely location filled with luxury stores (including the multi-story Tiffany flagship), restaurants, department stores, and endless shopping.

We booked the KOKO Hotel for both stays (same hotel brand, two different locations) using our Amex Platinum benefits. I preferred the location of the Tsukiji property because it felt a little quieter and more local, but the actual hotel and amenities were nicer at the Ginza location. (We stayed at one location for a few days before our short trip to Kyoto and the other one afterwards.)

One thing I loved about Ginza is that it felt incredibly clean, safe, and easy to navigate. We could walk almost everywhere and just took an Uber when needed.

Tokyo DisneySea

I always say we’re not “Disney people,” even though we go to the parks constantly and are about to go on Disney Cruise #8. We just don’t have Disney decor in our house, but I think we check all of the other boxes. 😉

Of course we wanted to visit a Disney property while we were in Tokyo. They have two options: Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. We chose DisneySea because it has unique rides and lands that don’t exist in the U.S., and it’s generally considered the better park for older kids and adults.

(the kids approve all of the photos I post and Liv asked me to put a heart on her face for this one)

The rides were incredible.

The animatronics, special effects, projection mapping, storytelling, and ride technology far exceeded my expectations. Peter Pan is one of my favorite rides and the Tokyo version completely blew the U.S. version out of the water. It’s longer, more immersive (3D), beautifully done, and genuinely feels like you’re flying.

We also loved Journey to the Center of the Earth, Rapunzel was gorgeous (the lantern scene was everything), and Sinbad ended up being one of our surprise favorites. It’s kind of like It’s a Small World, but with a banger theme song and some impressive animatronics (like the green giant!).

The food was also so much fun.

We completely fell in love with muscat-flavored everything while we were in Japan, and these frozen muscat desserts were a HUGE hit. I had two throughout the day and P had three.

They also have unique popcorn flavors everywhere. When we visited, the options included milk chocolate, soy sauce and butter, scallop and garlic (which was DELICIOUS),

caramel, and salted popcorn. Each stand has different flavors, so people literally collect popcorn buckets and walk around trying them all.

It’s also worth mentioning that everything was dramatically less expensive than the U.S. parks. A giant chicken leg was around 800 yen (about $5 USD), compared to $15 – 20 at home.

Our park tickets and even the paid ride reservations were a fraction of what we’d normally spend in the States. I tell ya, that’s worth the flight right there.

The only downside is that many of the ride reservation options (called DPA in the app) sell out quickly. I was able to purchase a few, but all of the free reservation options were gone shortly after we entered the park. Frozen and Indiana Jones were also closed during our visit, which was a bummer.

The park closed at 9 p.m. the night we visited, and many food locations stopped serving around 7-8 p.m., so I definitely recommend prioritizing rides early and planning dinner before things begin shutting down.

teamLab Borderless

This was an absolute must-do.

Tokyo has a few different teamLab experiences, and we chose Borderless. It’s an interactive digital art museum where the exhibits are constantly changing. You can walk through a room, come back 15 minutes later, and it looks completely different.

We spent hours wandering through the exhibits, drawing sea creatures that came to life on giant screens,

(the Pilot did this amazing turtle!)

getting lost in the light installations, and taking so many photos and videos.

It’s one of those experiences that’s hard to explain until you see it yourself.

I definitely recommend this if you’re traveling with kids, but the adults were just as entertained.

I’ve also heard amazing things about teamLab Planets if you’re trying to choose a location to visit!

Multiple 7-Eleven and Lawson stops

7-Eleven lives up to the TikTok and Instagram hype.

Every morning I grabbed something from the famous drink case. C1000 was my favorite and I miss it so much.

We also stocked up on muscat treats, smoothies, onigiri, and so many tasty snacks. It became our breakfast stop, snack stop, and post-dinner dessert stop.

It’s funny because there are exactly zero things I want to eat at 7-Eleven in the U.S., but there were dozens of things I looked forward to eating at convenience stores (konbini) in Japan.

They have fruit sandwiches, egg sandwiches, onigiri, coffees, sparkling drinks, smoothies, and desserts that are super delicious and also inexpensive. The smoothies were the best!! The container is just frozen fruit and after you pay, you scan the bar code on the machine, put the cup inside, and it adds liquid and blends it on the spot. Like I said, Korea and Japan are living in the future.

Riding the bullet train to Kyoto

I’d heard that if you’re already in Tokyo, it’s worth taking the train to Kyoto or Osaka to experience a different side of Japan.

I didn’t want to travel all the way across the world and miss it, so we added Kyoto to our itinerary and I’m so glad we did.

Kyoto deserves and is getting an entire blog post of its own because it was truly magical.

We rode the Green Car (the equivalent of first class) on the way there, which was lovely and comfortable. On the way back we rode regular reserved seats, and TBH, it wasn’t a huge difference (and the regular reserved seats were about $120 less for the four of us).

The trains are clean, quiet, efficient, and ridiculously punctual. Watching the countryside fly by while eating snacks from the station was a unique memory that I loved… I’d never really been on a train before (besides Polar Express!) and it was such a cool experience. Way less hassle than flying and felt just as quick!

Vintage luxury shopping

If you love designer bags, watches, jewelry, or accessories, Tokyo is heaven.

There are vintage luxury stores everywhere, and many of the pieces are in great condition and look brand new.

If you’re in the market for a Louis Vuitton bag, Gucci, Chanel, Rolex, or other luxury pieces, I would absolutely shop in Japan before buying elsewhere.

Also, bring your passport whenever you’re shopping because many stores offer instant tax-free purchases for tourists so you don’t have to deal with it at the airport.

Shibuya Crossing

We had to visit the famous Shibuya Crossing.

Pictures don’t really do it justice because it’s less about the crossing itself and more about the energy of the entire area. There are giant video screens, endless shopping, restaurants, lights, music, and thousands of people moving through the intersection in every direction.

It’s incredibly busy, but still feels orderly. People wait patiently, cross when they’re supposed to, and nobody is bumping or pushing into each other.

Outside the station is the famous Hachikō statue, honoring the loyal dog who continued waiting for his owner at the station every day, even after his owner passed away. It’s one of Japan’s most beloved stories, and seeing the statue in person felt surprisingly emotional.

We took photos, wandered the surrounding streets, did some shopping, and just soaked it all in. It’s touristy for a reason, and we loved it. If it’s your first trip to Tokyo, I think it’s one of those places you have to experience at least once!

Turns out that this post did not help my Japression at all, but I have a few more to go. I’ll be sharing all of the amazing food we ate (including GF options), a Kyoto recap and tips for traveling to Japan, and am happy to answer any questions, too!!

(dress from RTR and my beloved Vejas <– go-to travel walking shoes)

So, tell me, friends: what’s on your vacation dream list? Anything fun planned that’s coming up??

Hi friends! How are you? I hope you’re having an amazing week so far.

I cannot believe we’re already halfway through the year. Summer is actually the PERFECT time to pause and check in on your health goals before the fall chaos starts making its way back in.

If you started the year wanting to feel better, have more energy, balance your hormones, lose weight, improve digestion, support your immune system, sleep better, or finally get answers… but life happened… you are absolutely not alone.

This is exactly why I decided to host a freeeeeee live health planning class this Thursday at 10am PST / 1pm EST.

You can save your spot here.

This isn’t going to be one of those generic wellness webinars where you leave with a bunch of vague motivation and no actual plan. I want this to feel practical, strategic, personalized, and actionable.

We’re going to cover:

The biggest mistakes I see women making when they’re trying to “get healthy”

Why so many wellness routines fail after a few weeks

The exact areas I would focus on first if I were trying to improve energy, hormones, inflammation, gut health, or body composition

Simple ways to create a realistic plan that actually works with your real life

How to stop spinning your wheels and start collecting data that helps you move forward

My favorite wellness habits and non-negotiables right now

And the best part: a live Q&A because we’ll get to troubleshoot your specific questions together.

PLUS everyone who attends live will receive TWO extra entries into our massive wellness giveaway. Skincare, wellness favorites, beauty products, supplements, a walking pad, and more. It’s over $700 worth of goodies and I’m still adding things to the pile lol 😉

But here’s the part I’m REALLY excited about…

Live attendees will also get first access to the updated Healing Code program before I share it publicly.

I completely revamped the program to make it more accessible, supportive, and customizable depending on where you are in your health journey right now.

There will be:

and 5 VIP spots available

And once those spots are gone, they’re gone.

If you’ve been wanting support with things like:

Hormone imbalance

Weight loss resistance

Inflammation

Gut issues

Autoimmune symptoms

Brain fog

Fatigue

High stress and burnout

Functional lab testing

Creating a sustainable wellness plan

…this is going to be the best opportunity to learn more and see if it’s a fit for you.

I know how overwhelming the wellness world can feel sometimes. There’s so much noise, so many conflicting opinions, and so many people trying to sell quick fixes. My goal with this class is to simplify things, help you focus on what actually matters, and give you a clear path forward.

I would LOVE to see you there.

This 2000s Video Game Changed the Industry Forever

Video games don’t always reach mass audiences. The medium was once considered a niche hobby for nerds who didn’t have any social lives. It’s a very different world right now compared to decades ago. Gaming is now a mainstream part of pop culture, and one game in particular was more important to this than almost any other.

World of Warcraft careened onto computer screens unlike anything before or since. Blizzard’s massively multiplayer online role-playing game expanded the potential consumer base for gaming in a way that was perfectly suited for the internet era. By 2010, the game’s 12 million subscribers proved that online gaming was now present and the future of virtual entertainment.

Even though World of Warcraft isn’t as popular in 2026, the things that made it so popular are still relevant. Avatars and personalized characters in gaming can be seen in obvious genres like RPGs, but other games that aren’t so similar can be traced back to the game. Fortnite, for example, possesses a virality that wouldn’t have existed if World of Warcraft hadn’t created the environment for online gaming to be a hit.

The game transcended industries, and it even blended the virtual world with the real world as described by Rolling Stone for the game’s 20th anniversary in 2024.

“Much of the game’s enduring and ongoing legacy is the social bonds players have forged in its virtual world. Some say they’ve met many of their closest friends, or even their significant others, while adventuring in Blizzard’s fantasy world.”

World of Warcraft as a social space where friends can meet, relationships can bloom, and guilds of dozens (or hundreds) of players can create lasting communities has been one of the game’s few constants over the years. Blizzard’s MMO sparked an online social revolution before the age of social media, one where players could find common ground in a world they would go on to call a home away from home.”

World of Warcraft holds a special place in gamers’ lives, even if some people developed an unhealthy relationship with the game. Addiction to the title and not going to work or leaving the house became an infamous side effect of the experience. Who are we to judge, though? When something is that immersive, it’s hard to leave. World of Warcraft won’t be abandoning the public’s consciousness in the history books.

Netflix Adds Complete Karate Kid Film Collection for June 2026 Streaming

When a streaming service holds the exclusive rights to one of the biggest, most active original universes on television, it has to keep its audience fed.

Netflix subscribers looking to kick off June 2026 with a massive dose of throwback entertainment just got exactly that. The streaming giant quietly added virtually every film from an iconic, era-defining 1980s martial arts franchise.

As of June 1, the entire original Karate Kid film saga is available to stream on Netflix.

The Complete Miyagi-Verse Collection

For fans who grew up practicing martial arts in their backyards, this surprise drop is the ultimate movie marathon. The catalog addition effectively aggregates the franchise’s entire timeline into one seamless binge.

The collection starts with the foundational 1984 classic The Karate Kid, tracking Ralph Macchio’s Daniel LaRusso as he navigates high school bullies with the help of Pat Morita’s legendary, Oscar-nominated performance as Mr. Miyagi. From there, the library expands into the full theatrical continuum:

  • The Karate Kid Part II (1986): Taking the action to Okinawa as Daniel and Miyagi dive deep into family history and honor.
  • The Karate Kid Part III (1989): Returning to valley competition to face off against a hyper-aggressive, vengeful Cobra Kai dojo.
  • The Karate Kid (2010): The hit modern remake starring Jaden Smith and martial arts icon Jackie Chan, which successfully translated the underdog formula for a brand-new generation.

The Ultimate ‘Cobra Kai’ Homework

The timing of this quiet library expansion isn’t an accident. Netflix has long been the exclusive home of Cobra Kai, the wildly successful continuation series that transformed the legacy 1980s franchise into a modern streaming juggernaut.

With Cobra Kai actively building toward its highly anticipated final season milestones, bringing the original films back to the platform acts as the perfect refresher course. It allows casual viewers to easily brush up on the deep-seated rivalries, obscure tournament lore, and vintage training sequences that the television series constantly references and parodies.

By grouping these legacy crowd-pleasers alongside their massive Rocky and Creed franchise drops this week, Netflix is heavily leaning into sports nostalgia to dominate the early summer charts. Whether you’re a lifelong fan looking to revisit the All Valley Karate Tournament or a newcomer wanting to see where the Netflix series began, the collection is officially ready to stream. Just remember: wax on, wax off.
