Green Nail Polish Is Trending For Summer, and Searches for *This* Ultra-Stylish Shade Are Up 171%
Green nail polish might not be the most obvious choice for summer 2026, but it’s definitely the most stylish. All kinds of green hues are trending right now, including mint, sage, and now, pistachio. According to Fresha, searches for the creamy yellow-green color are up 171%. It makes sense. After all, beauty trends don’t often stick to a single category, and pistachio perfumes are everywhere. (Searches for the salty, creamy, and subtly sweet fragrance note are up a whopping 852%.) It seems the internet isn’t done embracing gourmand beauty trends. You heard it here first: it’s a pistachio-girl summer!
I already named pistachio as one of the most stylish summer pedicure shades, but now, it’s made its way into manicures. And as any good beauty editor would do, I’ve been searching high and low for the best ones on the internet. I’ve also been curating a list of the best pistachio nail polishes. Keep scrolling to see both.
The Inspo

Manicurist’s Pistachio Nail Polish ($14) looks so chic on short, square nails.

This bright pistachio-green nail polish is so eye-catching.

This pop of pistachio green is so fresh and summery.

This is proof that pistachio nail polish looks chic with a negative-space design.

This pistachio and tortoiseshell combo is as chic as it is unexpected.

I love OPI nail colors, and this is no exception.

FBI Director Comments on Nancy Guthrie Case After Weeks of Silence
The FBI has remained silent on the Nancy Guthrie case for weeks, ignoring mounting questions about the investigation. Today, that changed, but not in the way that many observers expected.
FBI Director Breaks Silence on Nancy Guthrie Case
DOJ officials, including Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel, held a press conference to discuss Tren de Aragua. As the group was taking questions, a reporter asked Patel whether he could confirm the details of a viral Reuters exclusive. The outlet’s report, which cited insiders, claimed that the FBI had deemed ransom notes linked to the case to be fake. “Reuters is reporting that the ransom notes that were sent regarding Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance are fake. Are you able to confirm that those have been determined to be fake?”
In response to that specific question, the FBI Director immediately refused to comment on that matter. “I’m not going to comment on that.” However, Patel then went on to comment briefly about the FBI’s role in the ongoing Guthrie case. In his capacity as the leader of the FBI, he told the press that the disappearance is a state matter that federal investigators are assisting with.
“We are continuing to assist that investigation. We’ve always been in an assist role. It’s a state matter being led by the state authorities. Thank you.”
When Did the FBI Last Speak on the Case?
Before July 1, 2026, it had been 26 days since an FBI representative made a public comment about the Nancy Guthrie case. On that occasion, FBI Director Kash Patel spoke out when he and Todd Blanche were being interviewed by Katie Pavlich for an episode of her NewsNation show Katie Pavlich Tonight. On June 5, NewsNation teased details about his comments that were released in full video on June 6. At that time, the FBI official claimed that the FBI had been kept out of the investigation early on.
“From day one, the FBI offered up our assistance because it was a state and local matter. We were not the lead agency because it was not being investigated as a federal matter, because there was no evidence about a federal nexus to a federal crime. So, we showed up immediately and offered our assistance. We were not let in for four days. That’s their choice. We continue to offer assistance. I even visited our Tucson office, where we had 150 agents and analysts working on the Nancy Guthrie case to provide intelligence.”
Patel continued, “What the FBI is great at, what we did when we finally had access to the Ring doorbell camera, for example, we went to our partners at Google, and we said, ‘Hey, we know that there was a paid subscription service, but let’s go look at the metadata and see if we can find a needle in a needle in a needle in a haystack.’ And what do we do? We pull that out. Same thing with the DNA. We offered our assistance to go test the DNA. And it’s up to them. They chose to use a private laboratory.”
However, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has steadfastly denied refusing to work with the FBI. They released a statement on those accusations, claiming that “coordination with the Bureau began without delay.”

Birkenstock’s Ultra-Lightweight EVA Boston Clogs Are on Sale for $42 at Zappos
Men’s Journal aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
In This Story
Why We Love This Deal
The Boston clog has been one of Birkenstock’s bestsellers for decades, and today, it still looks the same as it did in the ‘70s. The foam version takes that iconic shape and turns it into a single piece of water-resistant EVA, making it an incredible summer shoe that actually looks good to boot.
The only thing that could make them better is a sale, and that’s what’s happening right now: The $60 Birkenstock Boston EVA Clogs start at $42 at Zappos, which is up to 30% off the normal price. This sale is only for the khaki colorway, which is the lowest price the shoes have seen in the last month.
Birkenstock Boston EVA Clogs, $42 (was $60) at Zappos
What Shoppers Should Know
- Upper: EVA
- Midsole: Contoured EVA footbed with deep heel cup
- Outsole: EVA, water-resistant
- Fit: Adjustable strap with tonal pin buckle
- Best For: Poolside, gym, gardening, wet-weather errands, summer
The EVA version of the Bostons can handle puddles, mud, and yardwork without the worry that comes with leather, and the single-piece molded construction means there’s no break-in period, as the sandals have. That water-resistant construction makes them great for summer as well, whether you’re going from the garage to the pool deck or from the car to the gym locker room. Of course, you still get the adjustable strap and the overall Boston look.
The footbed geometry is identical to the Birkenstock’s leather Boston, so the feeling doesn’t change too much, even though the material does. At roughly a third of the price of the leather version, you’re still getting into a pair of Birkenstocks, and some have even found they have comparable comfort and arch support to the OGs.

What Shoppers Are Saying
The shoes are comfy enough that even OG Boston fans are sold: “Feels great on feet, maybe even slightly more comfortable than the regular Boston clog.” A second shopper bought these for their husband, and he said they’re “very comfortable and more supportive than expected.”
There are more reviews on Birkenstock’s site, where one shopper said they’re “Great pool and beach shoes,” and another wrote, “This is perfect for summer. So easy to clean.”
If you’ve been looking for summer shoes that are waterproof and low-maintenance yet still look presentable, the Birkenstock Boston EVA Clogs are for you. Just be sure to grab a pair while they’re still in stock, as sizes are already running out.

‘Mobland’ Season 2 Is Coming as Season 3 Locks-in Tom Hardy. Here’s Everything We Know
The second most popular Paramount+ show of all time has officially, finally, been green-lit for a second season. After a massive Season 1 cliffhanger in 2025, the English mafia show MobLandwill return for at least one more season, and almost certainly, a third season, too. This means that all fears that the various plotlines would not be resolved have been put to rest.
“We are elated to greenlight a second season of this global phenomenon, which has dominated both domestic and international charts and soared to No. 1 in the U.K.,” said Chris McCarthy, one of Paramount Global’s CEOs, according to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, June 23, 2025. With 26 million viewers globally, the only Paramount+ original show to be a bigger hit is Landman.
But what do we know about the future of the show? Here are the details about the cast, the plot, and the release date for MobLand Season 2. Plus, the confirmation about Season 3, too. Spoilers ahead for MobLand Season 1.
MobLand Season 2 Release Date

Luke Varley/Paramount+
As of this writing, an exact release date for MobLand Season 2 has not been set. But, because Season 2 has completed filming, a release date sometime in 2026 is almost assured. Speaking to Screenrant in May 2026, producer Guy Ritchie confirmed, “We’ve got MobLand before the end of the year.”
This means that Season 2 of MobLand will likely debut on Paramount+ sometime in the Fall of 2026, or perhaps in December 2026.
MobLand Season 2 Cast
The cast for MobLand Season 2 will almost certainly include everybody who survived Season 1. And, likely some new characters, too. But, based on the ending of Season 1, Episode 10, “The Beast in Me,” here’s who will be back for Season 2.
- Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan
- Tom Hardy as Harry Da Souza
- Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan
- Paddy Considine as Kevin Harrigan,
- Joanne Froggatt as Jan Da Souza
- Lara Pulver as Bella Harrigan
- Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan
- Mandeep Dhillon as Seraphina Harrigan
- Janet McTeer as Kat McAllister
Because Brendan (Daniel Betts) was killed in Season 1, he could appear in flashbacks in Season 2. Ditto O’Hara (Lisa Dwan) as the Harrigans’ lawyer; deceased, but maybe back in flashbacks. Finally, although Harry and Kevin killed rival mob leader Richie Stevenson (Geoff Bell) in the Season 1 finale, it also stands to reason that Richie could appear again, via flashbacks.
MobLand Season 2 Plot
The season finale ended with a few big cliffhangers, but generally, with things on the upswing for the Harrigan family. It appeared that Conrad and Maeve were going to be released from prison, while Harry and Kevin basically asserted the dominance of the Harrigan family in the crime business by taking out the last of the Stevensons.
But there are several loose ends. Despite owing a mega-mob boss Kat McAllister a huge favor, Harry, the de facto leader of the Harrigans, told her he would not come work for her, effectively putting the Harrigans at war with an even bigger crime syndicate. At the same time, it seemed that Conrad’s daughter, Seraphina, was poised for a bigger role in running the family. In fact, actress Mandeep Dhillon told Men’s Journal that: “For a Season 2, I’d definitely see her up there, with more power.”
On top of all of this, Eddie Harrigan (Anson Boon) went missing at the end of Season 1, after learning that his grandfather, Conrad, was his true father, and that he wasn’t blood-related to his grandmother at all. A stand-out character in Season 1, Boon told Men’s Journal that: “I think Eddie is thinking about his next move, because who do you trust anymore?”
Finally, the biggest cliffhanger that Season 2 will have to resolve is the moment that Harry’s (Tom Hardy) wife, Jan (Joanne Froggatt), stabbed him by accident, while having a fairly tame argument in the kitchen.
Will Harry survive? Yes. Almost certainly. Tom Hardy is back for Season 2 and Season 3.
Tom Hardy Has Not Been Fired From MobLand Season 3
In the past few months, starting in May 2026, rumors circulated that series star Tom Hardy was leaving MobLand, after he supposedly clashed with the production team, specifically, showrunner Jez Butterworth. However, as of June 30, Deadline reported that Hardy, producer David Glasser, and Jez Butterworth had patched things up, “which resulted in Hardy returning to the series full-time.”
Technically, Season 3 has not been formally renewed. But considering the anticaption for Season 2, we can expect that announcement very, very soon.

5 Ways to Feast on Fourth of July Favorites While Fueling Your Gains
This weekend marks America’s 250th birthday, so it’s time to celebrate! Between backyard barbecues, boozy beverages, and red, white, and blue treats, the Fourth of July can quickly become a calorie-packed day. One day of indulgence may not undo months of progress, but it also doesn’t mean you have to put the healthy habits you’ve so meticulously built on hold.
Whether you’re hosting a backyard cookout, squeezing in a morning workout before the festivities, or spending the weekend at the beach, a few simple choices can help you enjoy all the iconic holiday staples while still feeling your best and staying on track with your fitness goals.
1. Fire Up Your Workouts With a Rocket Pop Energy Shot

If you’re starting off your Fourth of July off with a local 5K or heading to the gym for a quick pump, 5-hour ENERGY’s Firework Freeze-flavored energy shots are the perfect holiday-appropriate boost to kick off America’s 250th birthday. Inspired by the iconic red, white, and blue bomb pop, this limited edition flavor gives all the nostalgia with zero of the sugar or calories. Each shot also contains 230 mg of caffeine, B-vitamins, and essential nutrients for fast energy.
2. Utilize High-Volume Watermelon for Insane Muscle Pumps

When you think of the Fourth of July, it’s hard not to imagine slices of cold, refreshing watermelon. And not only is it delicious, but it’s known to be a natural pre-workout, thanks to its high water and citrulline content. Citrulline is an amino acid that may support blood flow and enhance muscle pumps during training. One study examining watermelon juice as a functional exercise drink for muscle soreness, performance, and recovery found it may support individuals engaged in regular training by optimizing post-exercise repair and hypertrophic responses.
3. Build a Muscle-First Burger Bar

Burgers may have a greasy reputation, but they can also be a tasty source of high-quality protein. With a few simple upgrades, you can create a gains-forward Fourth of July burger bar. For starters, use a lean protein source, such as 90/10 ground beef, ground turkey, or bison to up the protein while keeping saturated fat in check.
Chef Joel Gamoran, a Virta Health partner, recommends swapping a traditional bread bun for a two-leaf lettuce wrap to cut back on calories and refined carbohydrates. And instead of ketchup, which contains about 4 grams of sugar per tablespoon, Chef Gamoran suggests whipping up a quick homemade romesco sauce by blending roasted red peppers, almonds, olive oil, and vinegar.
4. Crush Cravings With a Patriotic Protein Parfait Pops
The Fourth of July isn’t complete without dessert. In his weekly newsletter, six-time Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead shared a healthier way to cool off with his red, white, and blue protein parfait pops. The below recipe yields 6 to 8 pops, with each one containing roughly 120 calories, 12 grams of protein, and less than 5 grams of sugar.

Ingredients
Red Layer
- 1/2 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 scoop vanilla or strawberry whey or plant protein powder
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut water
White Layer
- 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
- Optional: splash of vanilla extract
Blue Layer
- 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut water
Instructions
- Blend each layer separately until smooth. Add more liquid if needed for blending, but keep each layer thick so they freeze well.
- Layer into popsicle molds. Start with red, then white, then blue. Tap the molds gently to settle each layer before adding the next.
- Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours, ideally overnight.
- To remove, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds and enjoy!
5. Trade Heavy Potato Salad for a High-Protein Alternative
Dense bean salads have quickly become a summertime favorite. They’re the perfect option when you need to get your veggies in but don’t feel like cooking. It’s also a sneaky vessel for boosting fiber intake, something Americans are notoriously low on. The beans provide a boost of plant-based protein, making this side dish both nutritious and delicious.
Set out a bowl alongside your Fourth of July spread and let guests enjoy it as a dip with whole-grain crackers or tortilla chips, spooned over grilled chicken or burgers, or simply on its own. Try the recipe below, originally shared by Divya Sharma on Instagram.
Ingredients
- 400g chickpeas
- 400g black beans
- 200g edamame
- 200g corn
- 1 red onion
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 red pepper
- 3 tomatoes
- Large handful of coriander
- Dressing: juice of 1 lemon, 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Finely chop all salad contents. Rinse and drain the beans.
- Make the dressing by mixing the ingredients together
- Add all the salad to the bowl and mix in the dressing.

Registered Dietitians Reveal the #1 Fruit to Eat for Weight Loss
Being in a calorie deficit and having an intense sweet tooth don’t always go hand in hand. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to satisfy your dessert cravings while sticking to your fitness goals. While some low-calorie dessert options found on grocery store shelves are both highly processed and pricey, a more holistic option can be found in the produce aisle. One fruit dietitians recommend for satisfying a sweet tooth while supporting weight loss is raspberries.
“Raspberries are naturally sweet, but they’re also very high in fiber for the number of calories they provide, which makes them a great option for people who want something sweet and satisfying without relying on a higher-calorie dessert or snack,” says Johannah Katz, RD, of Kaffico.
One cup of raspberries contains about 64 calories, eight grams of fiber, five grams of naturally occurring sugar, and, of course, no added sugars. Raspberries are delicious on their own, but Katz recommends pairing them with a protein source like Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, chia seed pudding, or oatmeal. Combining fiber with protein and healthy fats helps promote fullness and steadier energy while making meals and snacks more satisfying.
Raspberries are both high in fiber and water, a combination that lowers their energy density. Low-energy-density foods can help you eat satisfying portions while naturally reducing overall calorie intake. In fact, one study found that the increased intake of berries was associated with less weight gain over time.
“Despite being small in size, they are packed with the most fiber per serving of all fruits,” says Juliana Vocca, MS, RD, of Prime Women Nutrition. “The fiber helps fill you up and can help regulate blood sugar, preventing unwanted cravings. They’re also low in calories.”
Beyond supporting weight management, raspberries are also rich in vitamin C and polyphenols, including anthocyanins and ellagitannins, which are plant compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. The high antioxidant content gives raspberries their vibrant red color, helping combat oxidative stress, which is often associated with obesity and other chronic health conditions.
