Altogether, this shirt can pair well with swimming trunks, slacks, or casual shorts.

REI’s 4th of July Sale is still going strong, and you can find great deals on outdoor gear like sleeping pads, sun shirts, and coolers on sale. And if you’re eager to get out on the water, they’ve got you covered with an inflatable paddle board from a leading brand that’s $320 cheaper than usual.

Six Flags New England was making its way to unveil a brand-new roller coaster called “Quantum Accelerator.” 

The new coaster was called a “family-friendly thrill ride with two exciting launches, twists and turns, 11 moments of airtime, and speeds up to 45 miles per hour.”

But, fans will have to wait longer to get their chance to ride it. 

On Tuesday, Six Flags New England announced that the debut of the coaster will be pushed back to 2026. 

“UPDATE: When it comes to debuting world-class attractions for our guests, we won’t rush the process. Therefore, we are moving the debut of Quantum Accelerator to 2026. This reflects our commitment to quality, comfort and reliability. We appreciate your patience and understanding,” the company wrote on the official website. 

This is set to be New England’s first dual-launch straddle coaster with speeds of up to 45 miles per hour and a length of 2604 feet.

It also launches out of the station from 0 to 30 miles per hour in seconds, so it was going to be quite an eventful opening in New England. The Six Flags New England website has a promotional video for the ride. 

The ride’s manufacturer is Intamin, a well-known maker of roller coasters, water rides, vertical rides and much more. 

For now, no official date is set, but 2026 is the new debut for the ride.

Will you marry me? 

That is a question most people have thought about asking for a long time. 

In a recent study by Mark Broumand, there were just over 2 million marriages in the United States in 2023 alone. 

The study, titled “States Putting a Ring On It,” went into great detail about marriage. 

The study looked at Google search trends and state marriage rates while compiling some surprising results. 

Some of the states that landed at the top of wedding-related searches are Washington D.C., New York and New Jersey. 

But, surprisingly, those same states ranked toward the bottom in actual marriage rates, and part of it appears to be due to the cost. 

“The states rank #1, #3, and #5 respectively, based on average search scores for terms like “marriage proposal,” “getting engaged,” “engagement ring,” and “wedding.” D.C. leads with an average score of 94, followed by New York (81.8), and New Jersey (80.2). However, while search intent is strong, weddings in those states are not cheap,” the study stated. “D.C. averages $42,000, New York goes higher still at $49,000, and a New Jersey wedding will set you back an eye-watering $55,000.”

On the other hand, New Hampshire is at the top of the states that are least obsessed with getting engaged, followed by Nebraska, Colorado, North Dakota and Wyoming. 

Despite recent legal rulings that tossed out Justin Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and the $250 million suit against The New York Times, the legal battle still continues. 

Lively’s team is subpoenaing Candace Owens, Perez Hilton, and YouTuber Andy Signore, according to TMZ. Her attorneys are claiming that Baldoni worked with the three entertainment influencers in a smear campaign. Baldoni directed and starred alongside Lively in the 2024 film, It Ends With Us, where she accused him of sexual harassment and retaliation. The 41-year-old actor continues to deny the claims. 

Owens issued a statement to People about the news on July 1. 

“Given the fact that I have not received any subpoena yet, I appreciate Blake’s team leaking this to TMZ to alert me to it. And, of course, I have not the slightest idea what I am being subpoenaed for, as I knew none of these parties when their respective lawsuits were filed. But stay tuned, and I’ll let audiences know on my podcast,” she wrote. 

The controversial political and culture commentator may not have any ties to Baldoni, but the media outlet noted that Hilton and Signore have been linked to the former Jane the Virgin star’s lawyer. Bryan Freedman represented Hilton in another case, and Signore published an “exclusive” statement from Freedman for one of his YouTube videos on the case. 

Scooter Braun and his former company, HYBE America, were served with subpoenas in June. Lively’s team is seeking documents related to crisis PR manager Melissa Nathan, who previously worked with Baldoni. HYBE America owns a majority stake in her PR company, The Agency Group, per Deadline. She is also a co-defendant in Lively’s lawsuit. 

The trial is scheduled for March 2026.
