Chappell Roan’s Very Revealing Grammys Red Carpet Look Took Over the Internet

During the 2026 Grammy Awards, Chappell Roan was nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, but she lost in both categories. Still, it could be argued that she won big at the event, given how she has dominated social media ever since. Thanks to the revealing outfit that Roan wore on the red carpet, images of her look quickly went

Social Media Explodes with Reactions to Chappell Roan’s Daring 2026 Grammy Awards Red Carpet Dress

As Chappell Roan walked the red carpet before the 2026 Grammy Awards, she wore a red dress that was very revealing. It didn’t take long at all for the fact that Roan was showing so much skin to be noticed on social media.

One example of that is a post from the X user @moonroses, who wrote, “chappell roan looks completely stunning wearing a nipple dress at the #GRAMMYs.” Similarly, a X fan account for the celebrated artist, @bestofchappell expressed that she was stunning on the red carpet. “chappell roan STUNS at the #GRAMMYs red carpet!”

Jelly Roll Wins a Historic First-Ever Grammy Award

Jelly Roll has just made history. Again. For the first time ever, the Grammy Awards split its awards for Best Country Album into two separate categories, and in doing so, created a brand new category: Best Contemporary Country Album. Obviously, the subgenre of “contemporary country” has been a thing for a while; it’s not like the Grammys just invented it. But, in recognizing this as its own category, the Grammys made history and paved the way for Jelly Roll. And, in a sense, because this category was about creating new genres, it was perfectly made for him.

During the 68th annual Grammy Awards, Jelly Roll—real name Jason Bradley DeFord—picked up the first-ever Grammy for Best Contemporary Country Album. The popular singer praised his wife Bunnie, praised God, and made it clear he felt his faith “did not belong to any political party.”

“There was a time in my life that I was broken, that’s why I wrote this album,” DeFord said in his emotional and passionate speech. Country music legend Reba McEntire stood and applauded Jelly Roll after his speech concluded.

This is actually one of three Grammys that Jelly Roll won this year. He also picked up a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. He was first nominated for a Grammy back in 2023 for Best New Artist.

Netflix’s New True Crime Documentary Nabbed a Rare Perfect Rotten Tomatoes Score

Nearly 25 years after Elizabeth Smart was abducted from her bedroom in the middle of the night, a new Netflixdocumentary is giving her the chance to tell her side of the story—and audiences are enthralled.

The film currently boasts a rare perfect score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer.

Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart, a new 91-minute documentary feature that arrived on Netflix on January 21st has been wowing critics since its arrival. The film, which allows Elizabeth to recount her terrifying ordeal in her own words, features exclusive interviews with Smart and her story, who share new details on the case that rocked a nation.

On June 5, 2002, Smart—who was just 14 years old at the time—was kidnapped at gunpoint from the bedroom of her Salt Lake City home with only her 9-year-old sister, Mary Katherine, with whom she shared a bedroom.

Over the next several months, as police and the public attempted to track her down, various sighting of Smart were reported. As the months passed, the public began to give up hope that Smart would ever be found, but her family remained vigilant. Eventually, even Mary Katherine realized that she recognized the voice of the man who had been in her bedroom as someone who had done work on the Smart family home.

After nine months of searching, Smart was eventually recovered. Her abductors were identified as Brian David Mitchell, a self-proclaimed prophet, and his wife, Wanda Barzee, who spent months abusing and terrorizing Smart.

In addition to interviews with the detectives who refused to give up on finding Smart, it’s the victim herself—now a 38-year-old wife and mother of three who has dedicated her life to advocating for children’s safety—who gives some of the horrifying, and compelling commentary. Especially in her decision to reclaim her story and reshape the narrative.

What Are Critics Saying About Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart?

“It is clear that the disavowal of shame is her main message and, presumably, a large part of her reasoning for taking part in the documentary,” The Guardian’s Lucy Mangan wrote of the film. “It is striking and undeniably uplifting how firmly she explains herself, outlines her extraordinary suffering and the psychological effects of intense fear at the hands of a violent man (and his accomplice Wanda Barzee), and puts the responsibility back on Mitchell for what he did and how entitled he felt to do it.”

The New York Times’ Glenn Kenny was equally impressed with Smart’s resilience, writing that “Her on-camera testimony is devastating. Recollecting her assaults by one of her kidnappers, she tells the viewer that she held onto the belief that, ‘If I can hold him off long enough, someone will rescue me.’ That’s heartbreaking. But her resilience and frankly astonishing good humor come through as well. That her life since her ordeal has returned to normal—she’s now married, with children of her own—adds another dimension to her miracle.”

Brian David Mitchell was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Barzee was released from prison in September 2018 after serving a 15-year sentence. She is currently living in Salt Lake City.

The Cure Makes History at the ‘2026 Grammy Awards’ Amid Tragedy

During the 2026 Grammy Awards, many talented artists were recognized for their work. Still, one of the most noteworthy events at the awards show is the fact that an iconic rock band, The Cure, managed to have a truly historic moment. Sadly, however, the triumph comes amid a true tragedy for the legendary group.

The Cure Win Their First Grammy Award Ever

After decades as one of rock’s most influential bands, The Cure has been honored in many ways, including being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Despite that and the fact that they have released many songs that mean the world to fans, they had never won a Grammy Award until 2026, when they won two.

The Cure won Best Alternative Music Performance for “Alone,” after beating out Bon Iver, Turnstile, Wet Leg, and Hayley Williams. They were also recognized for releasing the Best Alternative Music Album for “Songs of a Lost World.” Their fellow nominees in that category were Tyler, the Creator, Bon Iver, Wet Leg, and Hayley Williams.

Before 2026, The Cure had only been nominated for two other Grammy Awards. They had been nominated for Best Alternative Music Album twice, for “Wish” and “Bloodflowers,” but they lost in both of those cases.

The Cure’s Grammy Triumph Came During A Time of Mourning for the Band

When The Cure won their first Grammy Awards ever, they weren’t there to collect their trophies and give a speech. Sadly, there is a tragic reason for that, according to Stereogum. Instead of attending the awards show, the members of The Cure spent February 1, 2026, at a funeral for the band’s former guitarist, Perry Bamonte.

In December 2025, the band released a statement on their website revealing that Bamonte had died over at the age of 65 years old. “It is with enormous sadness that we confirm the death of our great friend and bandmate Perry Bamonte, who passed away after a short illness at home over Christmas. Quiet, intense, intuitive, constant and hugely creative,
‘Teddy’ was a warm-hearted and vital part of the cure story.”

The band’s statement went on to describe the role that Bamonte had in The Cure’s history. “‘Looking after the band’ from 1984 through 1989, He became a full time member of the cure in 1990, Playing guitar, six string bass and keyboard On the wish, wild mood swings, bloodflowers, Acoustic hits and the cure albums, As well as performing more than 400 shows over 14 years. He rejoined the cure in 2022, playing another 90 shows, Some of the best in the band’s history, Culminating with the show of a lost world concert In london 1st november 2024. Our thoughts and condolences are with all his family. He Will be very greatly missed.”

Our thoughts are with Perry Bamonte’s family, friends, and fans during this difficult time.

Justin Bieber Killed It at the Grammys Wearing Just His Boxers

It’s been four years since Justin Bieber performed at the Grammys, and his 2026 return to the Grammy stage was both artful and powerful. Early during the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, Bieber took to the stage wearing only his boxers and socks with his guitar strapped to his body. And then, he performed his hit song “Yukon” from the album Swag with what has to be described as a quiet intensity.

Nobody saw this exact kind of performance coming, and even host Trevor Noah noted that the feeling in the room was intense. Bieber didn’t dance. He barely even moved. He essentially played one instrument and sang a stripped-down version of “Yukon,” which on the album is already a fairly simple track. But this performance was even more straightforward and heartfelt. Was this Bieber at his most relatable? His most artistic? His most defiant?

The answer is kind of all of the above. Bieber attacked this song like he was a rock star with nothing to prove, which is interesting because, in a sense, he did have something to prove. It’s been a tumultuous few years for the singer, and in some ways, this was a make-or-break moment. And Bieber pulled it off with guts.

Photo by VALERIE MACON on Getty Images

The performance was also, crucially, weird. And by being so simple and weird, Bieber succeeded in being cool as hell without trying. Since 2024, Bieber has been open about his mental health struggles, as well as admitting at more than one point that he was “broken.”

Throughout his Grammys perfomance, we saw several shots of Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, looking on approvingly. The pair just had Jack Blues Bieber, their first child, in August 2024. And, with his really ordinary socks and normal-guy boxers, Bieber felt like he might be, just maybe, entering into a new era of dad rock.

Can you be a messy, down-to-earth guy and a pop star at the same time? Bieber just proved the answer is a big yes.

Ozzy Osbourne’s Daughter Just Got Very Real On the Grammys Red Carpet

The death of Ozzy Osbourne in 2025 may not have been a huge surprise, but it was a massive blow to rock fans everywhere. And, however sad, folks in the music industry felt, the Osbourne family was obviously hit the hardest. And, in a refreshing moment of vulnerability, Kelly Osbourne made it clear that she’s not exactly doing okay in the wake of her father’s death.

When asked on the red carpet how she feels about her dad’s passing last year, Osbourne replied: “To be honest with you, I won’t lie, people usually say, ‘I’m great.’ I’m…not doing so great.” Osbourne continued and noted that her father’s death is “The hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life.”

Osbourne shared a warm moment with Jelly Roll on the red carpet, too, where both talked spontaneously about their love for Ozzy.

“I’m getting through,” Osbourne noted. “We’re doing everything we can to try and live in his legacy and be happy.”

Who is Kelly Osbourne’s Partner?

Kelly Osbourne’s partner is Sid Wilson, the keyboardist for Slipknot. The two have been together since 2022 and are currently engaged. Wilson is 49, while Osbourne is 41. Wilson supported Osbourne at the Grammys.

What Shoppers Should Know

  • Colorways Available: 14
  • Sizes Available: Queen, King, California King
  • Material: Cotton-polyester blend
  • Thread Count: 1400
  • Includes: Flat sheet, fitted sheet, four pillowcases

The Brookline sheets are made from a cotton-polyester sateen woven fabric, and they have a very high thread count of 1400. What does that mean? Thread count is a measure of the horizontal and vertical threads in one square inch of a fabric. Lower thread count sheets are lightweight and breathable, while high thread count sheets are typically warmer, more durable, and have a softer feel. At 1400, these sheets have a very high threadcount, giving them excellent durability and a super plush texture: Shoppers say they feel like the sheets you’d sleep on in an expensive hotel. The set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet to cover your mattress (it fits mattresses up to 18 inches thick), and four pillowcases. The fitted sheet and pillowcases each have a four-inch hem for a tidy look. If you purchase this set, you’ll just need to add a duvet and duvet cover and you’ll have a fully made bed.

The comfort and quality is top notch. One shopper said they “feel and look like sheets in a five-star hotel,” and many other shoppers echoed that sentiment. They’ll be a major upgrade over older, worn-out sheets or cheaper big box sets.

One colorway of the Brookline sheets is already sold out, and more are sure to follow: At 71% off, shoppers are going to swarm over this deal. Snag your sheet set today before this amazing deal disappears.

Yam Yam Arocho Sounds Off on His Dramatic ‘Murder in Plain Sight’ and the Final Words That Have ‘Traitors’ Fans Divided (Exclusive)

Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho can always spot a “twinkle in the eye,” and Real Housewives alum Lisa Rinna was no exception inside The Traitors castle. While his theory on her “murder” method wasn’t exactly right, his intuition that she was the Traitor who killed him was dead on. During the show’s most dramatic “murder in plain sight” to-date, the Survivor 44 winner was dragged away—literally—from the Black Banquet table, but not before screaming out a final warning that has left the fandom divided.

In his exit interview with Men’s Journal, Yam Yam defends his vocal departure, explains the intuition that led him to Lisa, and why his dramatic exit was actually exactly what he manifested. He also pushes back on the narrative that he refused to work with fellow “gamers” like Rob Cesternino, revealing how a lack of trust among the fellow Faithful gamers turned the castle into a draining experience.

Scroll down to read the full interview with Yam Yam.

Men’s Journal: How are you feeling? The banquet was so fun and dramatic, but that’s a tough way to go out.

Yam Yam Arocho: I am a big believer of, like, putting out there to the universe what you wanted. I remember when they called me for Survivor the first time, I was like, I’m gonna win that show. And I said that to my mirror every day, and I did. And when I started going and prepping for Traitors, I was like, as long as long as I make it halfway, because I know I’m a Survivor winner and it’s going to be hard. As long as I get to the banquet, because I knew a banquet was going to happen at some point, and as long as I go out not in a confessional, I’m going to be happy. And I got everything.

Men’s Journal: I’m seeing debate online about whether a murdered player should be allowed to talk on their way out. What do you make of that?

Yam Yam Arocho: Every person that is saying that just doesn’t like Yam Yam. It’s okay, not everybody needs to like me. Here’s the thing, being a Traitor already gives you an advantage, huge advantage, because you have control over half the game when the other people don’t. Then if the show wants to progress and keep being fun, being a Traitor has to be a hard job, and how to make it really, really hard. You’re already doing a murder in plain sight. You’re already murdering face-to-face. The next level, other than the Secret Traitor controlling how they’re going to do the strategy of the voting at the beginning, is do a murder where the person chosen to be murdered can say something because it becomes more dangerous to be a Traitor, and to do the act of murdering in front of everyone. So this commentary of people saying he should not have said anything and that there should be a rule of producers saying, if you get picked, stay quiet. It’s a movie, and I was being dragged. My head was not chopped off on the table. I was still alive, and I was able to scream what I say, because when they’re going to kill someone and people get dragged out in life, they’re still talking.

Men’s Journal: Talk to me about Lisa. When you were on your way home from the castle, were you still 100 percent that it was her that killed you?

Yam Yam Arocho: I knew it was Lisa. I knew it was Lisa because the way she was acting with me was very different. I had gotten really close to Lisa because after a few of the roundtables, after Michael [Rapaport] left and Ron [Funches] left. I wanted to have fun. I was tired of feeling heavy, feeling mad, feeling sad, because the first half of the game was very, very draining on my energy. And I remember one night saying, I want to have fun, like Survivor. I had so much fun on Survivor, I need my moment of fun. So Lisa was like my Carolyn [Wiger], and we were having fun, joking around, you know, being herself. And if you know anything about my game of Survivor, I do like the twinkle in the eye thing, so I knew the way she was talking to me was very weird, like, in a more intense way. I got distracted by the fashion and everything, I shouldn’t have touched the pin.

Men’s Journal: What was your reaction to finding out the other Traitors were Candiace [Dillard Bassett] and Rob [Rausch]?

Yam Yam Arocho: Oh, I was so happy for Rob. So happy for Rob. Rob was my guy. I mean, of course, he’s gorgeous. He cannot do no wrong, but my No. 1 trust was with Natalie [Anderson], and then Rob. I was always working very close to Stephen [Colletti], but he was doing some sketchy things, but because how he is, that he was bringing suspicion, I could see what he was doing. Stephen and Maura [Higgins] were like my Traitor choices, but I would have never said it was Rob. He could have gone to me at night in the castle, whisper in my ear, “Yam Yam, wake up.” I’d be like, “What’s going on?” He says, “I’m a Traitor.” And I would have said, “No, you’re not. You’re not a Traitor.”

Men’s Journal: You didn’t seem to want to work with the other gamers. Was that something that you were thinking about before the game? Talk to me about that.

Yam Yam Arocho: The only people I knew for real were the gamers, like these people did not trust in me, because this is something that happened with the gamers this season. The fact that none of us was a Traitor, and the fact that everybody knew I’m a faithful, someone has to be a Traitor. I’m a faithful, so somebody has to be a Traitor, [and it] created this mistrust within the gamers group that manifested into the relationship of everyone. Because if the gamers are talking with everyone that they don’t trust the gamers, then who can we trust? Because where’s the strategy is going to lead, right? But I was never like, “I don’t want to work with gamers.” I’ve heard this first from Boston Rob on the podcast. He was like, “Why do you want to work with gamers?” Like, that was not a thing. Natalie and I were super close from the beginning. I was super happy to see Rob Cesternino there. I was super happy to see Tiffany [Mitchell], because I’m really good friends with Big D[erek Frazier] I love Ian [Terry] because he’s an old school Big Brother player that I used to watch. We never had a chance to work together. It’s not a choice. It’s that we never had a chance. And I, of course, heard Rob Cesternino say I was putting a highlight on him, or like highlighting that he was a strategist. I was like, “Rob, thank you. It wasn’t me. Everybody knew who you were.” Because if you’re gonna go to Traitors as a player, Sharon, what do you do? YouTube [search] “Traitors strategy” and what’s gonna come up on YouTube? Rob Cesternino talking about it.

Men’s Journal: You had some heat on you early in the game, and it didn’t even seem like you were having fun. Do you feel like once Michael was gone, your game sort of opened up? Did you feel like you were in a better spot?

Yam Yam Arocho: No, I took so much s–t over my Michael that I I wanted it to shift so bad. But by that point, these quiet players, the ones that are being shown now, did not trust in me because I was so strong against Michael every single time. From night one after the picking of the Traitors, Michael went after the gamers and the housewives so hard that that same night, I was like, “Dude, you need to stop saying the gamers or the housewives, because it’s just not cool with me.” Because at that point, everybody was so quiet, it kind of put all the eyes on us, and I could not do anything. And that’s why, when we go into the banquet and with the potions, I was like, I need their trust back. I’m not gonna go for safety, because I was going for safety every single time. I’m gonna say Johnny [Weir] to give it to Kristen [Kish], because Kristen was very outspoken at the roundtable. I prompted Natalie [to drink it]. She was looking for, like, reassurance. I was like, just drink it. Just drink it because I wanted to be trustworthy. But by that point, it was too late. It was too late, even if you see the clips of my face talking. I was already so tired of these people not trusting me, because it was a very new experience for me to have this cloud of doubt over me.

Black Ice Risk Below 32°F: How to Stay Out of the Guardrail

Why black ice shows up after sunset

If roads melted into slush today, tonight can get ugly fast. When temps drop below freezing (32°F), that wet sheen can refreeze into black ice—thin, nearly invisible, and ready to steal traction without warning. A Feb. 1 National Weather Service briefing warned that “areas of black ice may form where slush and snowmelt refreeze,” and told drivers to slow down and leave extra room ahead.

Black ice loves the spots you hit at speed. Bridges and overpasses cool from above and below, so they freeze before the road on the ground. Shaded stretches stay colder too, even when the rest of the lane looks merely damp. That’s why the “I was fine a second ago” slide usually shows up on an on-ramp, a short bridge, or a bend lined with trees.

Your job is to drive like traction is scarce. Cut speed early. Add more following distance than feels normal. Autoblog’s winter-driving guidance even suggests driving under the limit in bad conditions, with a common rule of thumb around five mph slower when things get slick. The point isn’t the number. It’s the margin.

Then smooth out every input. Ease onto the throttle. Brake sooner and brake gently. Turn the wheel like you’re trying not to spill a drink. Sudden steering, sudden braking, and sudden acceleration are how tiny slips turn into big ones.

Skip cruise control on slick roads. Even adaptive systems can add power when you need less. Keep full control with your foot and your hands.

If you hit black ice, don’t stab the brake and don’t jerk the wheel. Look where you want the car to go, ease off the gas, and make small steering corrections. If your car has ABS, keep steady pressure and let it pulse. If it doesn’t, brake lightly and keep the wheel aimed where you want to end up. The car will slow when it finds grip again. Give it the chance.

Before you even leave the driveway, do two quick checks. First: look at the temperature, not the sky. If you see 34°F at sunset and 24°F at midnight, assume refreeze. Second: think about your route. Ramps, bridges, and low-traffic back roads get sketchy first because they ice up and stay icy longer.

Finally, stack the odds in your favor. Tires with real tread and correct pressure buy you grip when grip matters most. Keep basic winter gear in the car too. Men’s Journal’s winter driving checklist calls out the unglamorous essentials—ice scraper, flashlight, warm layers, charger, and snacks—because getting stuck is part of the same story.

One tell: watch the traffic. If the road is “wet” but you don’t see spray off the tires ahead, it may not be water. If steering suddenly feels light, treat it as ice until proven otherwise. Keep your eyes far down the lane and make your moves early. Late, sharp corrections are where black ice wins.

My Verdict

If you’ve got daytime melt and a nighttime freeze, treat every bridge, ramp, and shaded patch like it’s iced over. Slow down before you get there, leave a huge gap, and keep your hands calm. If you can delay the drive until temps rise, do it. Black ice is the hazard you don’t see coming—right up until you do.
