Rick Ross & Bugatti Team Up For High-Octane New York Fashion Week Showcase

Rick Ross is taking his love of Bugatti and all things luxury to another level, as his RR22 accessories brand prepares to hit the runway alongside the exotic automaker.

Initially launched last fall, Ross teamed with Edition22 on the RR22 collection, as the brand focuses on “precision-built bags” offered in vibrant colors and limited-edition runs. Edition22 is pushing further into the U.S. market with an appearance at Runway 7 at Sony Hall in September, while Bugatti debuts its latest collection spanning apparel, accessories, auto-inspired gear and more.

The double-header event puts the hip-hop heavyweight’s taste for the finer things squarely in the spotlight, as “Ricky Rozay” showcases his wares alongside the hypercar brand in an event positioned at “the intersection of where “European craftsmanship meets modern American style,” RR22 and Bugatti said.
Across apparel, hats, cardholders, duffle bags and handsome leather goods in vivid colors, RR22 “brings a bold, contemporary approach to fashion and accessories,” approved by Ross himself, the brand noted.

Ross is staying busy ahead of “Fashion Month,” with a new album Set In Stone and its accompanying “Port of Miami” 20th anniversary tour on the road now through October, featuring opening acts including Ludacris.
At the time of the Rick Ross RR22 Collection debut, Edition22 said the collaborative designs “came together around one shared belief: That what you carry is as important as where you’re going.” And for a rapper with a famously jet-set lifestyle, the hits to prove it and wild rides in his garage (like a Louis Vuitton-leather seat tank), the offering makes perfect sense. Ross’ 100-room mansion and stunning sneaker collection also prove Ross knows his luxury goods.

And yet, the RR22 collection is surprisingly affordable. Priced starting at $22.50 for a leather cardholder and crafted in signature colors like Drift Blue and a sleek black with RR22 embossed detailing, the Rick Ross collection offers “bold, impactful design,” the company said, not unlike Bugatti’s fleet of hypercars and sleek, auto-inspired fashion to match. Look for more from both brands on the runway at NYFW.

Whole Foods Red Lentil Dal Soup (copycat recipe)
Sharing my version of the amazing Whole Foods red lentil dal soup, which is one of my very favorites. It’s gluten-free, dairy free, and a plant-based source of protein and nutrients.
Hi friends! How’s the week going so far? I’m in content creation mode for something new I’m working on and doing the usual school and sports scramble with the crew. Fall is officially in the air (jk it’s going to be like 100 here until November) but I like the pretend with a cozy bowl of soup.
I have a mental list of quick grab-and-go meals that I can swoop in a pinch, are healthy, and that I really enjoy. Thankfully, Tucson has a lot of amazing healthy restaurants, which makes it pretty easy. If I find myself in a bind and hangry in between picking up kids and running errands, it’s nice to know I have some faves I can easily pick up.
Whole Foods Red Lentil Dal Soup (copycat recipe)
This is one of my favorite easy healthy pickup meal options. I’ve had this lentil soup so many times this fall season already, I knew I needed to try to recreate it at home. The result is a super hearty, flavorful soup, with lots of nutrients, and is great with a large salad for lunch. It also freezes beautifully.
Here’s the recipe if you’d like to give it a try!
Ingredients:
One yellow onion, diced
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
2 ribs of celery, diced
3-4 cloves of garlic
1 knob of ginger, peeled and grated
2 cups dried red lentils, rinsed
1 can diced tomatoes
32 oz vegetable broth
Juice of 1 lime
Good pinch of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon curry powder
Turmeric
1/2 bag of spinach
1 can coconut milk
Salt and pepper

Instructions:
Step One
In the Instant Pot on saute setting, saute the onion, carrots, garlic, and celery for 2-3 minutes in olive oil, until softened and fragrant. Add in the tomatoes, ginger, lentils, and spices. Season well with salt and pepper.
Step two
Stir in the broth, seal the lid, and cook on soup setting for 20 minutes.
Step three
Allow the pressure to release naturally, and then stir in the lime juice, spinach, and coconut milk. Taste and adjust seasonings before serving. Top with some dairy-free yogurt and cilantro if you’d like!
Note: Allow to cool completely before storing in the fridge or freezer.
Here’s the full recipe. Please let me know if you decide to give it a whirl!

Sydney Sweeney Strips To Lingerie To Bake Her Birthday Cake For New Syrn Video
Sydney Sweeney‘s got a sweet tooth. Ahead of the actress and Syrn founder’s 29th birthday on September 12, she’s dropped a 90-second, vintage-style video of a seriously sensual birthday cake bake.
“Celebrate my birthday month with my newest @syrn collection 🎂,” she wrote on Instagram while teasing a forthcoming “Birthday Boobs” collection.
Lacy bras, garters, and other staples from the Jeff Bezos-backed lingerie brand cover Sweeney as she pulls and preps ingredients and sets a table with several small cakes, crawling across the top and tasting the confectionary creations before a grand three-layer centerpiece appears for Sweeney to sit atop of.
More campaign images depict Sweeney modeling sets in a 1970s-era kitchen, using milk bottles, rolling pins, frosting pipers, and balloons as props. A carousel of BTS footage from the shoot was posted days later with the caption, “Step into the world of Birthday Boobs.”
The latest drop arrives on September 1, slightly less than two weeks before her actual birthday, and was “inspired by Sydney’s own personal take on romance,” per a press release from the brand. Head to Syrn’s website for more.

How Jaguar, Land Rover & Range Rover Brought The Past & Future To Monterey Car Week

Monterey Car Week encompasses The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering; the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion; and, of course, the 75th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, among other events. Needless to say, there’s a hell of a lot going on. JLR—the umbrella company comprising Jaguar, Land Rover, and Range Rover—nevertheless managed to stand out with an array of vehicles spanning the past, present, and even near future, from cutting-edge electric cars and one-off luxury SUVs to some of the most important British classics ever built.

Jaguar provided the biggest glimpse of the future with the North American debut of the Type 01 prototype, the four-door electric GT that will spearhead the company’s bold new direction, presented by dashing Jaguar Managing Director Rawdon Glover. Jaguar also used Car Week to reveal the Type 01’s futuristic four-seat interior in person for the first time. The production car is scheduled for its full unveiling in New York on October 6.

Glover framed Jaguar’s transformation as nothing less than a complete reset. “What Jaguar needed was a complete reinvention, a complete reboot from where it was,” he said. Yet he also argued that radical change is nothing new for a marque that has repeatedly reinvented itself over its 90-year history. “We shouldn’t be following EV trends. We should be carving our own path.”

At more than 16 feet long, the nearly 1,000-hp electric concept is deliberately extravagant, with an impossibly long hood, fastback roofline, 23-inch wheels, and almost none of the visual clutter that has crept into modern performance cars. The proportions might call to mind a traditional front-engined Jaguar GT, but there is very little that’s traditional about the car, from the lack of a conventional rear window to the butterfly doors and horizontal slatted panels.

The interior is no less dramatic. A central “spine” runs the length of the cabin, dividing it into four individual spaces, with brass-inspired finishes, travertine-influenced surfaces, and technology that appears only when needed. Jaguar says the four-seat concept is being brought to production, with Type 01 becoming the first production Jaguar built on the dedicated new Jaguar Electric Architecture.

Performance will be equally out there. Glover says the electric architecture allows Jaguar to “luxuriate with over a thousand horsepower,” but outright speed isn’t the only objective. “Lots of EVs are quick, but not many of them have character. Not many of them have what you might call a soul,” he said. “What we want is a car with drama. We want a car that when it passes you on the road, it really creates an emotional reaction.”

That Type 01 display was balanced by some serious Jaguar history at Pebble Beach. The company assembled a group of important classics that included Steve McQueen’s Jaguar XKSS, one of the most famous Jaguars in existence, and the bespoke XJ-S Cabriolet commissioned for Diana, Princess of Wales. Also on hand was the 1955 Jaguar D-type XKD 507 raced by Briggs Cunningham; and the as-new 1967 Jaguar E-type 4.2 OTS in Primrose Yellow that was once displayed aboard the RMS Queen Elizabeth, making its first appearance in North America.

Coincidentally at the Concours a beautifully preserved 1963 E-type Fixed Head Coupé won the FIVA (International Federation of Historic Vehicles) Postwar Trophy, while the 1950 Jaguar XK120 Don Parkinson Special took home the prestigious Phil Hill Cup. The awards, decided by 150 Honorary, Chief and Class Judges, garnered a standing ovation. It was a fitting result for Jaguar, whose own heritage display just yards away made the marque’s impressive heritage crystal clear.

Range Rover meanwhile used Monterey to show just how far its Bespoke operation can go. The new Range Rover SV Pearl Luster was unveiled at Range Rover House as a genuine one-of-one commission inspired by white abalone pearl found along the California coast. Its White Pearl Gloss exterior is paired with Orchid leather and real mother-of-pearl interior detailing, and a portion of the eventual sale will benefit the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Fund, a local nonprofit created to help protect the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

The long-wheelbase SV also features the rear-seat Signature Suite with fully reclining seats, and Range Rover House guests were given the first opportunity to register their interest in purchasing the sole example. Introduced by JLR PR and Communications Manager Joseph Stauble, Range Rover Brand Director North America Irene Kakooza was on hand for the unveiling. Describing the white abalone inspiration as having a “natural jewel-like finish” and “iridescent luster,” she called Pearl Luster “a master class of design and craftsmanship.” “The Monterey Peninsula is so beautiful,” Kakooza noted. “It’s been the inspiration for many remarkable Range Rover editions over the years, and this year is no different.”

Range Rover House itself was expanded for 2026 with The Residence at Range Rover House, a new concept that effectively turned an entire boutique hotel in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea into an invitation-only Range Rover enclave for five nights. Guests booking in received accommodations, chauffeured Range Rover transportation, private dining, Bespoke commissioning appointments, and access to The Quail and Pebble Beach Concours. Packages ranged from $27,500 to $31,500 for two people.

One of the most compelling JLR displays connected old and new Range Rovers. JLR Classic spent more than 2,000 hours restoring and customizing a 1993 Range Rover Classic County Edition to match a new Range Rover SV Ultra. Both were finished in Titan Silver, while the Classic received an Orchid White and Cinder Grey interior mirroring its modern counterpart. The two were displayed together at RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction and offered as an exclusive matched pair, where they fetched a record $967,000.

Meanwhile at The Quail, the Defender Dakar D7X-R race car made its U.S. debut. This was the competition Defender derived from the OCTA that had just won the Stock class at the 2026 Dakar Rally on its first attempt. Defender finished first, second and fourth in class, with the three cars scoring 1-2-3 finishes on 10 of the rally’s 13 stages. Historic Heritage Defenders and custom versions were also on display, while guests could get behind the wheel themselves on the Land Rover Experience off-road trails.

But JLR had an even reveal: it used The Quail for the world preview of the new road-legal Defender Dakar. It’s essentially the D7X-R turned back into a street vehicle—based on the OCTA, with the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, but unrestricted to 626 hp, plus 35-inch tires, widened track, Bilstein rally-derived suspension, carbon-fiber body pieces, roof lights, and even a Flight Mode developed to control the Car when it gets airborne. Reservations open in early 2027.

“The big question was, that’s a really cool car. How can I buy one?” Cameron said at the event. The engineering brief that followed was equally straightforward: “Make it like that, but make it road legal.” Even Flight Mode remains: “When you’re in the air, it presets the dampers for when you’re going to land.” Ace American Defender Rally driver Sara Price, who finished second in class and became the first American woman to win a Dakar stage in 2024, was also on hand for a fireside chat about racing one of the world’s most challenging events.

Tom Cruise Says ‘Days Of Thunder 2’ Is Coming In 2028

Tom Cruise is dropping the hammer on Days of Thunder 2, a sequel to the classic 1990 NASCAR action movie.
Cruise was joined by co-star Anne Hathaway in a teaser video announcing that Days of Thunder 2 will race into theaters in summer 2028. The two stars pose next to a lime-green NASCAR Next Gen car with “Cole Trickle” printed on the roof above the driver’s seat and the stylized Days of Thunder 2 logo emblazoned across the door.
The supposedly candid clip features some banter between the two actors, as Hathaway—who’s pregnant with her third child with husband Adam Shulman—says, “I’m gonna have this baby and then we’re going to make this movie.”
Cruise responds, “That’s a good idea. You have the baby and then we’ll go make the movie. We’re coming out summer of 2028. Don’t be late.”
Paramount previously tapped Jonathan Levine (50/50, Warm Bodies, Long Shot) to direct from a script by Will Staples. In addition to reprising his role as hotshot driver Cole Trickle, Cruise is producing alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Tommy Harper. Several other outlets have confirmed that the movie is slated for release on June 2, 2028, in Imax, Dolby theaters, 4DX, and premium large-screen formats.
In the original, Cruise’s Trickle was an open-wheel driver from California with raw talent and no stock car experience. The late Robert Duvall played Harry Hogge, the veteran crew chief coaxed out of retirement to build and race stock cars, while Randy Quaid played the car dealer bankrolling the team.
Reviews at the time were mixed—critics found the plot formulaic, which it is. It made a respectable $157 million worldwide, well short of the $357 million that Top Gun made with the same team of Cruise, Bruckheimer, Don Simpson and the Tony Scott, who directed both movies, in 1986. Over the years it’s become a genuine favorite among racing fans.
