Costco Shoppers Say This Addictive New Bakery Item Is Too Good to Pass Up
If you haven’t heard of Dubai chocolate yet, you’re officially late to the viral dessert party that started on TikTok and sparked a worldwide craze. The upscale, pistachio-filled chocolates have been so successful, they’ve inspired everything from ice cream bars to truffles, and Costco has been riding the wave with its own offerings. Now the wholesale giant is back with a new Dubai Style Chocolate Cake in its bakery aisle, and shoppers are already wishing they grabbed more than one.
Signature Dubai-style chocolate is all about silky milk chocolate wrapped around a nutty pistachio-tahini cream with a crunchy layer of shredded phyllo pastry, known as kadaifi. The contrast of creamy and crunchy, sweet and savory, is what made Dubai chocolate such smash hit. Costco’s new Dubai Style Chocolate Cake takes the same irresistible flavor combination and bakes it into a moist, over-the-top dessert.

The new Dubai Style Chocolate Cake is a rich, ultra-moist slab of indulgence, layered with creamy pistachio filling, crunchy shredded kadaifi, and finished with a thick topping of silky-smooth chocolate ganache. Weighing in at more than a pound and a half, this bakery heavyweight goes for $18.99, and early shoppers swear it’s worth every cent—and every calorie. Two bites in and you’ll understand why fans are clearing the shelves.
Instagram has been buzzing with excitement from fans over this indulgent dessert, with one shopper claiming, “Some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had.” Another fan posted, “I need 2 and I’m good.”

The Dubai-style cake is made by artisans at the celebrated, and celebrity endorsed, We Take The Cake bakery, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The shop is famous for its Key Lime Bundt Cake, which caught Oprah Winfrey’s attention and earned a spot on her coveted Favorite Things list. The bakery specializes in shipping fresh cakes nationwide and found success last year with its Costco partnership on a Tres Leches cake that generated major buzz.

Like most great Costco finds, this one won’t sit on shelves long. Early postings claim that when shoppers returned to stock up, the cakes had been completely wiped out. It hasn’t hit all Costco locations yet, so keep an eye out—if you spot one, grab it fast. This decadent dessert may be harder to keep in stock than toilet paper during the pandemic.

Tom Selleck, 80, Is Nearly Unrecognizable in Outing Months After ‘Blue Bloods’ Cancellation
Blue Bloods actor Tom Selleck stepped out in Los Angeles this week, looking vastly different than he did while starring on the hit CBS show.
Selleck, who portrayed Frank Reagan on the series, sported longer salt-and-pepper hair and a full mustache and beard as he ran errands. In photos published by The U.S. Sun, Selleck was seen in a black T-shirt, black shorts, and a pair of black sneakers.
Per the report, the actor — who celebrated his 80th birthday in January — hit the gym before grabbing lunch at a nearby McDonald’s.
Following the end of Blue Bloods in 2024, sources say that Selleck has been enjoying some down time.
“Tom’s finally taking his foot off the gas, and it’s a huge comfort to everyone who cares about him,” a source told Closer. “For years, he was go-go-go around the ranch, tearing around on his ATV, and taking on projects like he was still in his 40s, but these days, he’s embracing a much more low-key routine.”

“He still gets out and does what he loves, but now it’s more gardening and feeding the horses instead of racing around on machinery,” the source continued. “Ultimately, it’s about getting in as much time with the family as possible.”
It seems, however, that his few months of rest and relaxation will be coming to an end at some point. According to his IMDb page, Selleck already has his next project lined up. He is set to star in a television series that’s currently being developed by Jesse Stone. So far, Selleck’s name is the only one attached to the show.

Sam’s Club’s ‘Fantastic’ Countertop Oven Is a Game-Changer for Pizza Nights
Men’s Journal aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
Investing in kitchen appliances doesn’t have to be a challenge, especially when budget grocers like Aldi, Costco, and Sam’s Club are offering incredible online deals. We’ve found top-tier cookware items spanning from this portable camping stove to a $40 deep fryer, and, now, another highly-rated appliance has caught our wallets.
The $220 KitchenAid Digital Countertop Oven can be shipped directly to your door (and Plus members will receive free shipping on the order, since it’s over the $50 spending minimum). The oven includes one 12-inch baking stone, 9- by 13-inch baking pan, air fry basket, removable metal drip and crumb tray, and a removable metal rack.
The appliance offers ten cooking modes: dehydrate, proof, pizza, toast or bagel, air fry, bake or convection bake, broil, reheat, and keep warm. It features a 360° air fry system so that you don’t have to flip food over mid-cooking (such as french fries, chicken tenders, fish, etc.).

The most exciting attribute, however, is the included pizza stone, which provides even heat distribution for the perfect pie. According to reviewers, the oven can fit an entire pizza, making it ideal for group gatherings. It preheats in under four minutes.
“I have had several countertop ovens prior to purchasing this one and the KitchenAid beats them all,” one shopper wrote. “It’s big enough to replace my full size range in most instances. I use it several times each day, from toasting bagels to baking potatoes.”
Other shoppers cited the oven as “super easy to clean,” and “fantastic,” adding that it fits their countertop “perfectly.” Therefore, the product is also ideal for those looking to save space in their apartment or home.
The oven rack and multipurpose pan are dishwasher-safe. It’s recommended to hand wash the crumb tray and air fry basket. Should you be on the fence with this buy, Sam’s Club even offers a one year limited warranty on this unbeatable countertop oven. So, really, it’s a no-brainer p.

Kevin James Doubted Ray Romano’s Sitcom Success. Here’s Why
Actor and comedian Kevin James was pretty much convinced that Ray Romano wouldn’t be successful on a sitcom.
“I couldn’t believe it, because he’s such a low-energy guy,” James said on a recent episode of the Sibling Revelry podcast. “Sitcom guys were, to me, like the big, wacky [characters]. I’m like this, this is death. It’s not gonna happen.”
As it turns out, James was wrong. Everybody Loves Raymond ended up being wildly successful since its premiere in 1996. The show ran for nine incredible seasons and picked up 15 Emmys until it wrapped in 2005.
Kevin James Struggled Getting ‘King of Queens’ off the Ground
James recalled starting his own sitcom, The King of Queens, two years later. And while he may have been confident, given Romano’s success, things didn’t really click right away.
“The first few years of going with Ray — even when our shows came out, we’d go to the CBS functions and things like that. Red carpet things were so rough because they knew him, but my show had just come out, so they’re taking a thousand pictures of Ray,” James admitted.
“It was tough,” he continued. “[Romano] was so good on his sitcom, and the way he threw things away. I was like, ‘Wow. I have to watch him and learn from him, because I’m gonna be too big on camera. So even in the King of Queens, when I see episodes now, I’m like, ‘Throw it away, kid. What are you doing?’ I’m like, ‘Gee whiz. I wish I could go back and redo it.'”
Fortunately for James, King of Queens also ended up being a success. The series, which premiered in 1998, didn’t win any Emmys but had serious staying power, running for nine total seasons.
Ray Romano Won’t Be Doing an ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ Reboot
Romano has no interest in revamping Everybody Loves Raymond.
“No, there won’t be a reboot,” Romano told the New York Post in June. “The obvious is Peter [Boyle] and Doris [Roberts] and one of the kids — they’re no longer with us. We’re all heartbroken. They’re a big part of the show, the dynamic. Without them, I don’t know what the dynamic is. We love the show too much, we respect it too much to even try to do it.”
Meanwhile, James returned to the sitcom world in 2016 with Kevin Can Wait. Though not a direct King of Queens spinoff, the show mirrored much of the same comedy and also featured James’ longtime friend and King of Queens co-star, Leah Remini.
