Why We Love This Deal

You know the saying: It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity. When summertime temps rise, that sticky, muggy feeling of humid air is what really makes you uncomfortable, especially if the humidity is inside your house. A dehumidifier, which uses similar tech as an AC unit to dry out your indoor air, can bring much-needed relief and other benefits, like reducing the potential for mold and mildew growth. Now’s a great time to get one: Amazon just slapped a big markdown on this recently-released and now top-selling dehumidifier.

The Trazico 30-Pint Dehumidifier is available for just $150 on Amazon—that’s a 40% discount from its normal price of $250. This machine is the No. 1 bestselling new release in the dehumidifiers category on Amazon, and shoppers have purchased over 3,000 in the last month alone.

Why Do Shoppers Love It?

Shoppers have been impressed with the Trazico dehumidifier and report it effectively dries the air in basements and other large rooms. Despite its compact size (10-by-15-by-6.29 inches), it packs a punch, and it’s rated to dehumidify spaces up to 2,000 square feet. The simple control panel on the top of the unit allows you to set your desired humidity level and adjust the fan speed. You can operate the machine in three modes to continuously dry the air until your desired humidity is reached, dry damp clothing placed near the unit, or automatically run until the relative humidity reaches a comfortable level (good for living spaces).

The machine has two drainage options. Either condensed water drains into its tank, which must be periodically emptied (the machine will shut off when the tank is full), or you can use the included drain hose to send water into a floor drain. The unit rides on caster wheels, so it’s easy to move around and store, and its washable filter ensures your air stays clean, too. Shoppers also praise its quiet fan and motor—it produces only minor background noise when in use.

What Shoppers Should Know

  • Drainage Options: The Trazico 30-Pint Dehumidifier can be set to either store the condensed water pulled from the air in its tank or you can use the included drainage hose to allow the unit to continuously dump water into a drain in your home.
  • Water Capacity: This dehumidifier has a 30-pint tank for storing condensed water.
  • Filter: The machine includes a washable, reusable air filter.
  • Best Use Case: This dehumidifier is designed to dry out rooms up to 2,000 square feet. It’s a great pick for keeping basements and other large areas more comfortable.

The Trazico dehumidifier gives you two options for drainage: Using the tank, which you’ll have to empty periodically, or setting up the included drainage hose to a floor drain. It’s rated to process 37 cubic feet of air per minute, making it a great choice for larger rooms up to 2,000 square feet.

What Shoppers Are Saying

  • “Keeps the air feeling fresh and dry.”
  • “Powerful yet whisper‑quiet–a basement essential!”
  • “An excellent choice for basements or large rooms battling humidity.”

Basements aren’t the only place you can use this machine, of course. “I’m using it in my living area, and the air already feels less damp and way more comfortable,” one shopper said. “It pulls out multiple tanks of moisture a day, which is super impressive.”

The Trazico 30-Pint Dehumidifier will help you turn musty basements and other humid areas of your home into livable, comfortable spaces again, and if you already have central air, it’s a great complement to your home’s existing HVAC system. This brand-new machine has been racking up lots of positive ratings and flying off the shelves at Amazon in its short time on the market, so don’t miss your chance to score one cheap: This 40% off deal could disappear any day now.

Bill Burr Doesn’t Hold Back on ‘Racist’ Harassers

Bill Burr called out his online critics, particularly Ben Shapiro, in a new interview with Vulture‘s Good One Podcast. The comedian is quick to respond to the interviewer’s question about the far-right commentator, who recently complained about attending one of Burr’s stand-up shows, calling him “woke.”

“He doesn’t even know what that word means,” Burr interrupted, “his definition of ‘woke’ is white liberals’ definition of woke.” Burr, who has always criticized both Democrats and Republicans in his comedy sets, shared why he believes Shapiro attended his show. “He went there to be annoyed so he can then have something to talk about and then he can make money off dividing his own country,” he said, “those people, it’s treasonous what they do.”

The interview quickly turned political early on when Burr began talking about writing his newest comedy special. “When I was growing up, everybody hated the Russians,” he said, “now, people hate California or Florida or New York or Texas.” Burr talks about his desire to unite the country through apolitical comedy, but admits that internet culture has emboldened people like Shapiro to widely spread hateful messages.

“That idiot Ben Shapiro,” Burr says later in the interview, “he was trying to bring me into his fold. At one point, the guy liked me and then, all of a sudden, I’m a fucking asshole. I’m supposed to look at that guy like he’s an adult?”

When asked if the plan to label Burr as “woke” worked, the comedian reveals that Shapiro’s video led to online harassment. “Racists. They’re racists,” he said, “they send pictures of monkeys to me and my wife. They’re fucking horrible people. And they’re cowards, and they never say it to your face.”

Talking about the larger media landscape, Burr describes a current “ugliness” in which hateful content is being platformed. “We’ve already seen what it does to a nation, and it’s not the way to go.”

Liam Neeson to Longtime ‘The Naked Gun’ Fans: ‘I Don’t Need Someone to Tell Me How to Act’

While one of the most popular franchises is back and led by popular actor Liam Neeson, The Naked Gun reboot is going to get its own look and feel. Neeson made that much known, whether fans like it or not.

It’s hard to deny that Neeson is an intriguing and fun choice to step into the lead role, a role previously played by Leslie Nielsen as Frank Drebin. However, Neeson had a strong message for longtime The Naked Gun fans, even those hoping to see him bring the same approach that was loved by moviegoers over 30 years ago.

Liam Neeson ‘Doesn’t Need Someone to Tell Me How to Act’

Neeson will play the role of Drebin’s son in the new The Naked Gun, Frank Drebin Jr., with Pamela Anderson playing Beth Davenport, a modern-day edition of the popular Jane Spencer, previously played by Priscilla Presley.

During an interview with Variety, Neeson addressed the many longtime fans of the hit movie series who are hoping to see if he can match the comedy style Nielsen brought to the big screen in the originals. But as Neeson explained, not only has he not watched the original The Naked Gun series since they were in theaters in the 1980s and 1990s, he also doesn’t need any advice on “how to act.”

“I’ve done over 100 movies, so I don’t need to someone to tell me how to act,” he says.

It’s a strong comment from Neeson, and he, of course, makes a fair point. However, as Variety noted, this marks the actor’s first comedy film. It’s a tidbit that only adds to the interest around the popular Schindler’s List and Taken actor.

Early Reviews of Liam Neeson’s ‘The Naked Gun’ Are In

While Neeson isn’t shying away from the fact that he doesn’t need tips on how to act, the early reviews prove that he’s correct in that assessment.

The Naked Gun is now officially in theaters, with a release date of August 1; however, the Rotten Tomatoes reviews of the new movie have already been pouring in.

Through the early stages, critics and fans alike have given high marks to the reboot of the hit series. At the time this is being written, The Naked Gun boasts a 90 percent critics score on 168 reviews, while holding an 88 percent score on the fan-focused Popcornmeter with over 100 reviews.

The movie’s weekend box office numbers and updated reviews on Monday will be telling, but The Naked Gun and Neeson are both trending upward quickly.

The Next James Bond Installment Has Finally Confirmed a Title and Release Date

While the world waits for more news about the next major cinematic adventures of James Bond, the adventures of 007, and other Double O agents are still very much alive in the pages of new books. And now, one acclaimed series of Bond books has finally announced the conclusion of a trilogy. If you’ve slept on Kim Sherwood’s Double O novels, now is the time to catch up. The third book, which will feature James Bond as central to the plot, has just revealed its title and release date.

Hurricane Room, a James Bond novel, is coming in 2026

As revealed by author Kim Sherwood, Harper Fiction, and Ian Fleming publications on Instagram, the third book in Sherwood’s Double O series is titled Hurricane Room. This title is taken from a line from the book version of From Russia With Love, which reads: “Bond went to his hurricane room only when the situation was beyond his control and no other possible action could be taken…”

This refers to Bond’s mental state under extreme duress. The two previous books, Double or Nothing (2022) and A Spy Like Me (2024), dealt with the adventures of various other Double O agents, while James Bond was presumed missing. The cliffhanger of A Spy Like Me found agent 003, Johanna Harwood, finding Bond, who pulled a gun on her and fired.

What is the Release Date of Hurricane Room?

BARCELONA CATALONIA, SPAIN – FEBRUARY 20: The writer Kim Sherwood poses during an interview for Europa Press where she presented the novel ‘Double or Nothing’, on 20 February, 2023 in Madrid, Spain. ‘Double or Nothing’ is the first Bond novel of Kim Sherwood’s trilogy, where with several characters related to the famous secret agent, the writer talks about the world of espionage and the fate of James Bond. The book will be published from next Thursday, February 23rd. (Photo By Lorena Sopena/Europa Press via Getty Images)

Kim Sherwood’s conclusion of the Double O trilogy, Hurricane Room, will be published in May 2026. This book will not only wrap up Sherwood’s impressive Double O series but also be the first book of the trilogy to feature James Bond as a main character. In the previous two books, 003, 000, 008, and 009 were all major characters. That said, Hardwood’s (003) past relationship with Bond has been explored in the first two books, meaning we’ve gotten a good deal of Bond in flashback in those stories.

But this time, Bond himself will be back, front and center. For longtime Bond fans, or those who have never picked up a Bond book, the Double O novels are fantastic thrillers, and Hurricane Room is bound to be just as good, if not better.

Tyler The Creator Was Nearly Forced to Cancel Lollapalooza Performance

Rap and entertainment superstar Tyler The Creator served as the opening night headliner for the Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago’s Grant Park on Thursday night, but he was almost forced to cancel his performance.

On Thursday night into Friday morning, more than 200 flights were canceled out of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport as a result of some severe weather in the area, most of which were Delta Air Lines flights.

According to Atlanta News First, more than 180 overnight Delta flights were canceled as a result of what Delta described as severe summer weather. Delta was not the only airline impacted, but most of the canceled flights were Delta flights.

“Yes, there are proactive cancellations today in Atlanta due to severe summer weather,” a spokesperson for Delta Air Lines told 11 Alive in Atlanta on Friday. “Safety for our passengers and crew is our top priority.”

It seems that Tyler The Creator was among those impacted by the severe weather in the area, and it sounds like it nearly resulted in the cancellation of his performance.

During his performance in Chicago on Thursday night, Tyler The Creator announced to the crowd that he very nearly did not make it to Chicago in time for the performance due to the severe weather in Atlanta.

It’s not clear whether or not the rapper was impacted by the Delta cancellations specifically, or even if he was flying commercial at all, but it does sound like he was indeed impacted by the weather delays that impacted thousands of travelers on Thursday night into Friday.

Tyler The Creator did not specifify how exactly he made it to Chicago in time for his scheduled performance, but he did indeed make it, much to the delight of the thousands of festival goers who watched him perform his hits like “Sticky” and “See You Again.”
