Staying protected in the sun can be tricky, especially if you don’t have the right clothing for the job. The brand Outerknown, founded by legendary surfer Kelly Slater, has a great selection of clothing to keep you protected, like this sun shirt that’s 50% off.

Crafted to handle long days in the sun, the $88 Outerknown Sun Shirt is down to $44 right now during Outerknown’s summer sale, and the two available color options (Heather Grey and Mineral Red) are both receiving the half-off discount.

Outerknown prides itself on sustainability first and foremost, which is why this shirt is crafted from 100% recycled polyester that comes with UPF 50+ sun protection. The lightweight design combined with the fabric gives you a quick-drying, moisture-wicking shirt that’s perfect for surfing, beach days, or lounging in the sun, bolstered by silver-free anti-odor protection. Adding to the surfing functionality, the eyelets and front openings on the bottom hem allow you to connect your board shorts to the shirt to ensure everything’s secure. The sleeves have thumbholes to keep your hands out of the sun, and there’s even a bungee key holder on the sleeve cuffs for more security.

Shoppers are in love with the comfort and protection this shirt provides, writing, “I live in SW Florida and have owned many SPF shirts. This one is the best by far in terms of overall fit, fabric (ie, not too hot), and thumbholes at the cuffs. Keep up the good work!” “Perfect weight for DC summers,” and “I enjoy this shirt as it is soft, comfortable, and protects my skin from the sun. I hope to buy more in the future.”

A surfer even chimed in, saying it’s one of the best options for them out on the water: “I usually still get rashy after a few days in the water when using any other brands, including most top-of-the-line surf brands. For some reason, this shirt has never caused me to rash up and is the silkiest feeling comfort I’ve ever felt for surfing. Please continue to make this sun shirt the exact same way and release more colors! Outerknown has officially created the best surf shirt ever created!”

Sizes are already going quickly for the Outerknown Sun Shirt, and since this is a final sale, now’s the time to grab one before it’s too late.

Urban Outfitters Is Selling Its $79 Denim Jacket for Just $42, and It’s an Absolute Steal Ahead of Fall

Men’s Journal aims to feature only the best products and services.  If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

Mall staple Urban Outfitters is no stranger to a big sale, but it just went live with its first annual UO Haul Sale, giving shoppers a chance to save 30% off their entire haul until Aug. 5. The sale features tons of home goods and apparel, but what we’re calling the biggest no-brainer deal of the bunch is this black denim jacket from BDG—it’s a wardrobe staple that’s easy to get a ton of wear out of and you can get it for under $50.

The BDG Frisco Denim Jacket is just $42 at Urban Outfitters right now, a 47% discount from its normal $79 price tag. That price is a combination of an existing discount and the additional 30% off that’s part of the ongoing UO Haul Sale. It’s received a single, five-star review, but it’s clear that there’s a lot to love about the design and construction of this jacket.

This premium denim jacket is made of 100% cotton. At the moment, it comes in a single colorway, all black, that includes black buttons down the center and at the cuffs. It’s slightly cropped to fit trucker tradition and cut in a boxy fit with a left chest pocket and classic collar.

Without any contrast stitching, patches, silver buttons, or other adornments, this jacket has a simple feel that borders on austerity. Its monochromatism makes it a particularly versatile layer; it looks as good over a band shirt as it does over a button-down.

A black denim jacket is a wardrobe staple, and if you don’t have one (or simply want another with a more reserved feel), the BDG Frisco Denim Jacket is a great choice. This steep discount only makes it an even easier decision, so make sure you snap one up ASAP. Even though this sale lasts until Aug. 5, there’s no guarantee this jacket won’t sell out before then.

On’s Cloudrunner 2 Running Shoes Are a Very Rare 30% Off, and They’re ‘Better Than Any Other Brand’ for Comfort

Men’s Journal aims to feature only the best products and services.  If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

Why We Love This Deal

Just a few days ago, Zappos launched an amazing sale on all kinds of On running shoes, daily road running shoes to trail runners, and more. The wave of On deals continues today with this cushy, stable On sneaker that’s a rare 30% off—though you’ll have to snag your pair ASAP, because it’s already selling out in some sizes.

The On Cloudrunner 2 is on sale for just $112, a 30% discount, at Zappos. This daily road running shoe is available in one colorway, Glacier/Sage, at that price, and with a relatively generous size range in stock. We’re anticipating this selling out quickly, and if your size is gone, we’d recommend the bouncy On Cloudeclipse—also on sale—as an alternative.

Why Do Shoppers Love It?

The brand bills the Cloudrunner 2 as a “supportive, feel-good running shoe” with a design that focuses on comfort and stability. Shoppers definitely agree (see the review highlights below): The consensus is that this shoe feels great and serves up a comfy ride no matter your pace.

The Cloudrunner isn’t a max-cushion trainer like the Cloudsurfer, but it has a moderate amount of Helion midsole foam to take the sting out of your footfalls, and the signature CloudTec design saves weight and adds some bounce into your steps. The well-padded tongue creates a cushy wrap around your foot, and a heel counter at the back of the upper keeps your heel firmly in place for a stable ride. Shoppers also love the Cloudrunner’s sleek upper—another On hallmark—and say it makes these sneakers great for casual wear, too.

What Shoppers Should Know

  • Sizes Available: The Cloudrunner 2 is available in sizes 7 to 14, but sizes 7.5, 8.5, and 12.5 have sold out.
  • Color Options: Only the Glacier/Sage colorway is available for $112. Another colorway, Undyed/Green, is on sale for $120, but it’s only in stock in size 12.5. Six other colorways are available at full price.
  • Best Use Case: The Cloudrunner 2 is designed for jogs and training runs; you can also wear it as a walking shoe.

The Cloudrunner 2 is on sale for $112 in just one colorway, but it has a good size range available, with only three half sizes sold out. This moderately cushioned, stable shoe will make a great everyday trainer for runners, and its comfort-focused design makes it suitable for walking as well.

What Shoppers Are Saying

  • “Perfect fit, comfort, and style.”
  • “They fit great and are comfortable all day.”
  • “Better than any other brand for comfort and stability.”

One shopper even called the Cloudrunner “the most comfortable shoes I have ever had.”

The On Cloudrunner 2 serves up an appealing blend of support and comfort, and it’ll help you breeze through your training miles. They’re so comfy, you might just want to keep them on all day long. $112 is an absolute steal for an On sneaker, so don’t miss your chance to score these on the cheap: Zappos is already running out of select sizes, and the Cloudrunner won’t stay in stock much longer.
