The trend boasts criss-cross details that resemble a cage, and can be seen on Hadid’s bra and underwear during the over-the-top runway show, which included interpretive dancing. Gigi’s sister Bella also showed off another one of Rihanna’s beautiful creations: a bra with corset detailing and a lacy skirt attached to a garter belt. Once Meghan Markle became a duchess, she started wearing nude tights to adhere to the royal protocol for more formal occasions. CNN royal expert Victoria Arbiter explained the guidelines to Insider.
“You never see a royal without their nude stockings,” Arbiter said. “I would say that’s really the only hard, steadfast rule in terms of what the queen requires.”
Although Markle has opted out of nude tights for less formal affairs, they remain a part of her duchess wardrobe.
