This driver bit set is top of the line, thanks to the high quality Makita puts into its ImpactX lineup. It all starts with precision machine-tipped construction, ensuring a superior fit for full contact and an increased life expectancy. These alloy manganese phosphate-finish steel bits are performance-optimized thanks to their S2 steel build for maximum extended life. The calibrated heat-treating process adds a layer of durability, putting this set a level above the competition.

“Bosch, Milwaukee, Dewalt, Kobalt. Most of the others with the black coating were very disappointing, so I was weary,” started one shopper. “Makita has definitely impressed me way more with this selection. Definitely the most durable black oxide coating of any of the manufacturers, particularly on the 2-inch power bits. The power bits are particularly impressive and seem to be of a higher quality than the smaller ones.”

“The best part, though…it’s not a huge selection of bits you won’t need,” they added. “This set is very proportional to how often you’ll run into the particular bit you’ll need.” Another shopper agreed, saying, “This bit set is just great…The steel is not just rated, but actually very well tempered—it’s not chippy.”

Mother of Gene Hackman’s Wife, Betsy Arakawa, Breaks Silence With Emotional Plea

Last month the causes of death for actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were revealed.

Chief Medical Investigator Dr. Heather Jarrell announced, “Mr. Hackman showed evidence of advanced Alzheimer’s disease. He was in a very poor state of health. He had significant heart disease, and I think ultimately that’s what resulted in his death.”

Dr. Jarell’s autopsy of Hackman revealed he suffered from “severe heart disease, including multiple surgical procedures involving the heart, evidence of prior heart attacks, and severe changes of the kidneys due to chronic high blood pressure.”

Arakawa, meanwhile, died a week before Hackman from hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, a rare respiratory illness. Nearly two months after her death, Arakawa’s mother, Yoshie Feaster, 91, broke her silence on her daughter’s death while appealing the court to withhold photos and video footage of the bodies of Hackman and Arakawa.

“I humbly come before this court to request that this court respect my right to grieve in peace and find that I have a constitutional right to avoid seeing images of my daughter’s home, her dead body, her husband’s dead body, and their dog’s corpse,” she said in court documents obtained by People on Monday, March 31. “The public spectacle surrounding my daughter’s death is one that no parent should have to live through.”

Judge Matthew Wilson eventually ruled that redacted police body camera video and other investigative materials, including images of the couple’s dead dog, could legally be released – as long as all depictions of Hackman and Arakawa are censored.

Feaster fought to have the images censored in an effort to avoid reliving her daughter’s death.

“I believe a parent’s right to choose how to care for a child during their life should reasonably extend to a parent’s decision in dealing with a child’s death,” she said. “This right should extend to protect against the release of the autopsy photos and autopsy reports of my daughter. This right should extend to permit me to control the physical remains of my daughter, her memory, and images of her deceased body; including, but not limited to, images demonstrating how my daughter was residing during her final days.”
