34 Under-$500 It Bags I Found Just for You
As you may already know, I’m very into bags. From tracking down the best from fashion week street style to curating my own little collection to simply seeing them in my day-to-day work “research,” if there’s a cool purse out there, I know about it and have likely already considered buying it. So in my continued effort to bring you all some grade-A content, today I thought I’d round up my favorite designer It bags of the moment but with a very exciting peg. From classics like Prada and Miu Miu to newer brands like By Far (that Kendall Jenner just happens to be sporting above), I’ve rounded up the 34 coolest, brand-new, under-$500 purses on the market right now, just for you. Since I likely lost you at under $500, I’ll end it here and let you continue on to shop.

If You’re Too Cool For Leopard, Wear This Print
Leopard print has made quite a name for itself in 2018, and dare we say we’re a tad tired of it? Not forever, of course, but for the time being, we need a bit of a break, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. As of late, we’ve been seeing a rise in a timeless trend you probably haven’t been excited for since the third grade—checkerboard print.
It girls have been sporting the trend on everything from belts to pants to jackets and back again. Acting as a semi-neutral just as leopard print does, the striking pattern is one you’ll get a lot more wear out of than you’d expect. Take it from Reese Blutstein up above and pair the print trend with a statement jacket and white T-shirt, or use it to accent an otherwise bland outfit. And if all else fails, slip into your favorite checkered Vans and call it a day.
Below, shop our favorite curation of the rising checkerboard trend and get ready for your wheels to start turning. Exciting non-leopard looks are in your near future.
Next up, shop the new Nike sneakers that are already selling out.

I Moved to NY Without a Winter Coat–These Are the Ones I Want to Buy
I moved to New York from L.A. last week… You might be wondering why I decided to take this leap right before temperatures drop on the East Coast, especially given that I’m a native Southern Californian. The short answer is that the timing was right and I was ready for a change. My wardrobe, however? Not so ready. I’ve never owned a coat, rain boots—anything warmer than a light cashmere sweater, really. (Sidenote: This article on winter style in NYC has been helpful so far.)
Here’s what I’ve learned in my week of research: When it comes to winter dressing, nothing is more essential than a stylish coat or two. So I did a deep dive into all of the coats available right now, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that there are so many amazing options at an affordable price. I’m sharing my finds with you on the off-chance that you, too, are looking for a way to stay cozy and chic this winter, but also just in case your warm-weather wardrobe needs a little lift. Shop the 23 affordable coats I’m eyeing below.
