Ever heard of naked or keyhole underwear? We hadn’t either, but they’re everywhere, and it’s officially time to try them. Since the world of intimates is vast and daunting, we’ve done the hard work for you and rounded up the chicest lingerie of the moment. It’s no secret that fashion week runways typically employ models of a certain age—a young age. Catwalks across the globe from New York to London to Milan to Paris and beyond primarily feature women in their late teens to mid-twenties. While there are plenty of these ladies who we adore (Kaia Gerber, Taylor Hill, Binx Walton come to mind) we can’t help but long for representation of different ages. After all, these designers are selling to women at every age and most women who can afford designer clothing are generally more established in their careers and thus older. With this on the mind, we noticed a handful of fashion shows during New York Fashion Week that embraced age diversity and we immediately started taking note. As far as bridal wedding attire goes, it’s the wedding dress that gets the majority of the attention (as it should), but there are other things to think about that should be more than just an afterthought, e.g., your rehearsal dinner dress. The evening before the main event is usually more relaxed, so you can have a little more fun with your dress.

Many brides choose to stick with the white or blush theme, but others choose to think outside the box a bit and wear something blue, metallic, or even red. The most important factor when it comes to your rehearsal dinner dress is that you feel beautiful enough and it’s special enough to stand out, even if other attendees are wearing the same color or style of dress. 

Since few rules apply when it comes to choosing the perfect rehearsal dinner dress, it can be a bit overwhelming, so we took the initiative and found 21 dresses that would suit the momentous occasion beautifully.

A couple things we love: Sarah Jessica Parker and Madewell skinny jeans. Put the two together, and it’s newsworthy to us. Stepped out today for an appearance at her namesake store in New York, SJP was seen wearing a look that’s more classic than what she usually goes for. Of course, as we know, the perfect jeans don’t require a lot of bells and whistles.

The jeans in question are Madewell’s black high-rise button-through skinnies, complete with a bit of stretch and a cropped raw hem. Based on the celebrity endorsement, five-star rating with 142 reviews, and $135 price tag, we’re pretty sure that you should buy them if you’re in the market for a new pair of skinny jeans for fall. With the jeans, SJP wore a cropped white button-down shirt and a shoe style that we don’t often see: high-heel Oxfords. While they may give some people pause, you have to admit that they look quite cool with the simple outfit, so we, for one, are certainly not opposed.

The sparkly shoes are from her brand’s upcoming fall collection, but you can shop a similar pair, as well as the ultra-flattering jeans, below.

When it comes to reviving old trends, it seems no stone is left unturned at this point. Shoulder pads, bike shorts, fanny packs, the list goes on and on. Such is the case with gladiators, it seems. Kendall Jenner was spotted stepping out of a cab in Paris wearing none other than knee-high gladiator sandals, pairing the statement shoes with a ’70s-inspired lace-up, fringe minidress.

The look was similar to her ensemble that she wore to the S/S 19 Longchamp show in New York earlier in the week, when she styled a purple suede minidress with her gladiators for the front row (both designed by Longchamp). Jenner partnered with the iconic brand with a stunning campaign honoring its 70th anniversary, including a short film, #TheEncounter, featuring a horse and the model in Paris.

In other words, if people are purchasing an item in mass, then that is a trend worth noticing. That’s why when we caught wind that more than 2716 neon pieces of apparel and accessories were sold on eBay in the last 60 days, we did a double take.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of the neon trend making a comeback this autumn. After all, ’80s motifs were sprinkled across F/W 18 collections, with wearable takes on the flamboyant decade like acid-wash denim, bold shoulders, and, of course, neon.

Last night, Rihanna capped off New York Fashion Week in spectacular fashion: with a beautifully diverse Savage x Fenty runway show complete with dancing, an elaborately decorated stage, and plenty of lingerie. Along with women of all shapes and sizes, she cast two pregnant models—including, of course, one of her muses, Slick Woods.

Now, TMZ reports that Woods went into labor backstage after the show before being taken to a hospital. Woods has already revealed that she and Adonis Bosso have named their child Saphir after September’s birthstone, sapphire. It’s safe to say her child will have serious bragging rights when it comes to his birth story—who else participated in an iconic Rihanna show right before being born?
