“There’s nothing better than unwrapping something from Chanel.”
“Friends who gift watches are the best kind of friends, especially when the watch is embellished with Swarovski crystals. Gift this gold-tone and blue leather-strap watch to your BFF who is always running late.”
“Now here’s a candle worthy of a cool gift.”
“Who wouldn’t be happy to open up a fun color like this?”

This Just Became the Newest Complicated Underwear Trend

Believe it or not, we spotted yet another complicated underwear trend to hit the world of lingerie. Let us introduce you to the side-tie trend we’re seeing brands like Le Petit Trou, Love Stories, and Coco de Mer design. So what makes this feature complicated? Well, regular underwear you simply slip on and you’re good to go, but with this new style, it requires an extra step of adjusting and tying the silky strings (hence the subtle complications).

Over the past year, we’ve seen several lingerie trends like keyhole and cage underwear (Intrigued? Here and here you’ll find everything you need to know), the new wave of string undergarments and the item that weirdly made me happier to name a few polarizing topics. Whether you’re simply curious what the side-tie look is all about or looking to invest in some new briefs, thongs, or high-rise underwear, we have a variety of options for you below.

Meghan Markle Made These $90 Banana Republic Shoes Sell Out

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have officially landed Down Under for their two-week tour of Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, and Fiji. Not only does this mark their first international tour, but it’s also Meghan Markle’s debut event since Kensington Palace confirmed that she and Prince Harry are expecting their first child together. We already learned that the new baby will be arriving in spring 2019, and we can’t wait to uncover more details about the mini royal.

In the meantime, we’ll be reveling in all of Markle’s sure-to-be-amazing looks on her tour, including the Manolo Blahnik heels she owns in three different colors. She wore budget-friendly buys earlier in the trip: J.Crew ankle boots with a blazer designed by her multitalented friend Serena Williams. On the first day of the tour, she wore Australian designer Karen Gee’s Blessed Dress ($1285), so we’re expecting Markle to include plenty more Aussie brands in her repertoire this month. I Just Found the First Pair of Shoes That I Haven’t Had to Break In

There is an endless stream of coffee places, bagel shops and pizza places that claim to be the
“best in the world,” however, this self-appointed title is usually quite the stretch. So when I got an email claiming that a pair of new trainers were the “most comfortable in the world,” I thought it was certainly going to be a similarly empty claim.

My feet are like tissue paper in the sense that it takes me weeks to break in any shoes (I have got blisters from sheepskin slippers before). Also, my feet are always covered in strategically placed Compeeds. I decided to wear Allbird’s Wool Runners for two days with no socks on, which, normally, would be a reckless decision resulting in quite gruesome blisters.

These are the first pair of shoes that I—in my 29 years of life—haven’t had to break in. They feel like clouds. Allbirds is so confident in its comfort claim that if you wear the shoes for 30 days and don’t love them, you can get your money back. These are in every way practical shoes, as they are minimal and have no obvious logos. They are perfect chuck-on shoes for commuting or running errands and are never going to be something you’ll see in hundreds of shoefies.

Sienna Miller Just Made Red Carpet Sneaker-Boots a Thing

Whoever said you need to wear a dress and heels on the red carpet? From Tracee Ellis Ross’s power pantsuits to Jennifer Lopez’s sheer pants, our favorite celebrities have long been challenging that notion. Our latest favorite look happens to come from Sienna Miller, who ditched the dress in favor of a blouse with statement cutout sleeves and khaki shorts while attending an event for Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with Grace Coddington

The pièce de résistance, of course, was her amazing Louis Vuitton sneaker-boot hybrid shoes, which are a far cry from garden-variety red carpet pumps. Of course, Miller’s outfit is better suited to more adventurous dressers out there, but sneaker boots come in all shapes and sizes and are definitely worth a try this season. The Best Activewear Brands for Petite Girls

First off, being petite certainly has its blessings. And while historically, finding clothes for petite bodies hasn’t been as easy as it could be, retailers have really expanded their range of petite offerings. And if, ultimately, we find that perfect holiday party dress but it happens to be too long, all that’s required is a trusty tailor. Activewear, meanwhile, is a whole other beast. The thought of taking a workout top or leggings to a seamstress feels if not silly, then stressful. But don’t fret—petite activewear does exist, and we are here to show you a few of our go-to places when searching for products that don’t need to go under the knife.

Today, we are zeroing in on petite leggings, since those are the hardest to come by in the category. Whether the brands ahead have their own specific petite section or design their leggings in ways that cater to a smaller frame, the petite activewear ahead is guaranteed to look great on you. As a petite person myself, I can confidently say that the brands ahead offer up some of the most stylish and the best-fitting activewear to date. Ready to shop?
