Golden State Warriors Troll Josh Duhamel for Demanding Draymond Green Apologize to Fergie

Josh Duhamel, Fergie’s ex-husband, thought Draymond Green should apologize for snickering during Black Eyed Pea’s meme-ified butchering of “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Green and the Golden State Warriors pretty much did the exact opposite of that by throwing a post-game party set to DJ Suede’s remix of the terrible national anthem rendition following their 128-100 win over the Knicks on Friday.

A quick recap: Fergie’s aforementioned performance before the most recent NBA All-Star Game went viral for all the wrong reasons back in February. Watch it below if you must:

Note that Green fails to keep a straight face while he’s on camera.

Cut to Duhamel’s Thursday interview with Fair Game host Kristine Leahy.

“The thing that made me upset was that she was taking a lot of really cruel comments, people were really trolling,” Duhamel said before calling Green a “prick” and questioning his manhood.

“I was pissed off at Draymond Green, first of all. I think he owed her an apology. I thought he was kind of a prick. Just because he knew the camera was on him, and he snickered about.”

“I just thought that, if he would have been a real man, he would have at least called her and said, ‘Listen, I’m sorry that I caused all this,'” he added. “That’s what a real man would have done, in my opinion.”

But when Duhamel saw the Warriors’ epic response to his comments, even he had to admit that it was fantastic.

“Note to self: Think twice before you call out the champs,” Duhamel tweeted. “Well played.”

Indeed.

The ‘Falling Stars Challenge’ is the New Way Crazy Rich Millennials are Showing off Their Wealth

Surely you’ve heard of the insanely decadent lives of “Rich Russian Kids” (RRK), and how they love to flaunt their wealth (and surgically enhanced butts) on Instagram by posing with their cars, yachts, butts, and other expensive playthings.

But now, there’s a new way these wealthy millennials are showing off how rich they are: The “Falling Stars Challenge.”

As the name vaguely implies, the challenge showcases rich people pretending to fall out of their expensive vehicles, such as cars, private jets, and yachts, and some choose to “accidentally” spill the contents of their designer purses on the ground.

Ah, yes. Just yesterday I, too, casually fell out my personal helicopter and dropped my million dollars in cash and someone took a perfectly timed picture of it…said no one ever.

This absurdly ostentatious Instagram trend first started in Russia in August, but couldn’t be contained to just one country, and now is spreading like wildfire across the globe.

However, this trend is particularly famous in China, and has basically taken over the Chinese social media site Weibo, where the massive country’s wealthiest individuals just cannot stop posting these flamboyant pictures.

The challenge is trending on the site with the Chinese hashtag #炫富假摔, which translates to “show off fake fall,” and has over one million messages and 2.3 billion views.

Not surprisingly, though, the “Falling Stars” meme became famous with commoners, too, and people took the opportunity to create their own humble versions of their ultra wealthy counterparts.

This $160 Dress Is the Best Purchase I’ve Ever Made

Maybe it’s just me, but seeing an item on everyone in my Instagram feed typically deters me from buying it a little—no matter how covetable the item in question may be. Such was the case with the Insta-famous Christy dress from It-girl brand Réalisation. Since its launch in 2015, this dress has been worn in solid and printed versions by everyone and their mom, literally. I’ll admit it was love at first sight for me too, but seeing it blow up on social media so fast made me second-guess hitting that “Place Order” button.

Fast-forward many months, and after seeing its cool square neckline and flattering shape worn by so many dream girls, I finally succumbed to my desires and ordered the tiny dress for myself. Well, let me tell you: My only regret is that I waited so long to do so. There aren’t enough words in the English language to convey how perfect the fit of this dress is—it’s 100% worth the hype. It also currently comes in six colors and checks out under $200, just saying.

The same day it arrived, I wore the ’90s-style dress with an oversize black denim jacket and ankle boots for date night. Then, the next evening, I swapped out my black denim jacket for a vintage blue one and my ankle boots with sneakers for dinner with friends. Fast-forward two days later, and I pulled a black sweater over it, slipped on some sandals, and headed to brunch. Moral of the story: It’s quickly become the MVP of my wardrobe, and I have to actively decide to wear something else. In fact, I ended up ordering it in white as well to double the outfit options I have and (hopefully!) fool people into thinking I’m not wearing the same thing every day—not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Let’s be real. Cult items become cult items for a reason. Whether it be the perfectly fitted white tee, the hugs-in-all-the-right-places pair of jeans, or the give-you-legs-for-days heels, certain items end up in the closets of every fashion girl because they’re that good. Case in point: this dress. If you’re still thinking how a dress can seriously be this life-changing, keep scrolling to see how I and Réalisation’s coolest dreamgirls style ours. If owning the Christy dress everyone has is wrong, then I don’t want to be right.

There she is—the one that started it all for me. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the world’s best minidress.

The newest design added to the lineup also happens to be one of fall’s biggest trends: tiger print. One of our other editors has already waxed poetic about her affection for this specific version—and has the most genius tailoring tip I graciously copied from her.

Name a better dress. I’ll wait.

How fun is this color?

PSA: Lavender is one of 2018’s biggest color trends.

This feels so ’90s—in the best way.

Ok so this isn’t the Christy, but this is the newest dress from Réalisation I have my eye on and I have a feeling it’s also going to achieve cult-product status.

These are the boots I’m wearing in the first image above, and let me tell you: That’s an outfit I plan on repeating.

Pull this over your black Christy and add sneakers for a relaxed daytime vibe.

I tied this around my waist for a day party and would recommend to others without reservation.

This jacket + Christy Dress + ankle boots = my ultimate going-out look.

The ideal heel height to pair with a minidress.

I wore these with the ivory Christy and have never received more compliments.

These earrings with this neckline give me serious ’90s vibes.

When you need a pop of color.

An arm party is always a good idea.

Pair these with the black or white Christy.

Add a rocker twist with this belt.

There’s just something inherently cool about cowboy boots and this dress.

7 Black Friday Shopping Hacks All the Insiders Know

I’ll admit it: Black Friday is a sport. Between the early wakeup calls, long lines, and high-stakes deals, it’s not an endeavor for the faint of heart. But if you’re determined to score the best deals, which you probably are given that you’re reading this, we’re about to share a few Black Friday shopping tips that will set you apart as an expert shopper even if you’re really a novice at the post-Thanksgiving holiday. If it’s your first time venturing out for the biggest shopping day of the year, you should be prepared.

Gone are the days of sleeping in and casually wandering your local mall on this day. Instead, it’s common to find people who wake up at the crack of dawn or even stay up all night after Thanksgiving in pursuit of the best deals. We’re not saying you have to be one of them, but we will share the pieces of advice that everyone who’s a die-hard Black Friday shopper will know. And, you guessed it, planning ahead is the biggest way to come out successful.

Curious to learn everything there is to know about prepping for Black Friday shopping? Keep reading to discover seven hacks and then shop pieces we recommend at the end.

It should go without saying, but if you’re heading out to score as many Black Friday deals as is humanly possible, you better not fall into a tryptophan-induced slumber. It seems no one sleeps in anymore after Thanksgiving (some even stay up all night), so get a leg up on the competition and set your alarm—early.
Unless you can magically split yourself into multiples, there’s no way you’ll make it every store, which is why we recommend planning ahead. Which places are running the most exciting sales? Which stores are you most likely to find the best deals? Consider these factors and make a list of all the places you want to hit. It even wouldn’t hurt to make a map of where you’re going and when.
Since you followed our advice from tip number two, you have a running list of your top brands and retailers to target during the Black Friday madness. Now, before you head out to the sales (you can do this right now), go to each brand’s website and enroll in their email newsletters so you can capitalize on any VIP deals they’re running for this “insider” list. And you’ll get notifications directly to your inbox, so you’ll be the first one in the know.
Just like keeping a list of your top brands and retailers you want to focus on shopping, you should keep a list of the actual items you’re shopping for. Black Friday can be so overwhelming and stores will obviously try to inundate you with deals on deals, so stay focused by keeping key styles and item types in mind that you’re shopping for. Not sure what should be on your list? We have a few ideas here.
Yes, be that person who hoards a zillion coupons, at least when it comes to Black Friday shopping. Some might prove to be futile, but you never know which might come in handy until you have them all (neatly organized) in your wallet.
Don’t get stuck regretting spontaneous purchases only to realize everything you bought was final sale. (You shouldn’t find yourself in this scenario if you bought only the items on your shopping list, but alas.) Check the return policies before you purchase—either go online to find out or simply ask a store associate in person.
Ready, set, happy shopping… but not before setting a budget for yourself. It’s easy to go overboard when everything is on sale because you’ll be easily convinced you’re saving tons of money. Technically yes, but set a budget beforehand of the total amount you’re willing to spend, that way when push comes to shove, you’ll walk away feeling accomplished and not drained. Well, maybe you’ll be drained a little physically, but hopefully not financially.

I Have 23 Sweaterdresses in My Shopping Cart Right Now, Starting at $29

It may seem a little excessive for one person to own 23 sweaterdresses. First of all, where do you live, and what do your closets look like? But when I say I’m tempted to clear out some room in my own personal space for a few of the best sweaterdresses available right now, that’s no exaggeration. Not only are the styles on point, but as we lead into truly chilling weather, the pieces below are a few of the only options available when you love wearing dresses but hate sacrificing your comfort to do so.

In an effort to invest in weightier, cozier, fuzzier knits while continuing to wear silhouettes I love, I’ve done a bit of the research on what the best sweaterdresses of the season look like. In short, they’re colorful, available in a variety of hemlines, and start at $29. It’s the last point that just might encourage you to keep scrolling. So, go on.

Decidedly summer colors on an autumn silhouette.

The contrasting polo collar is really what seals the deal on this purchase.
This will be the perfect complement to every single one of the season’s cute layerable turtlenecks. Available in more sizes.
There are so many options for stripe fans to love.
Like this sporty version. Available in more sizes.

And we don’t need to tell you (again) to embrace a bit of lime green.
Holiday party–ready in a snap.
A bit of contrasting trim makes this silhouette stand out.
A bold flash of marigold is highly underrated.

We love this off-the-shoulder dress with an amazing pair of over-the-knee boots.

I’m a Fashion Writer in NYC—Here’s Everything I Just Added to My Closet

Hi, hello! Dispatching to you from New York City, I’m here to share everything I just added to my (teeny-tiny West Village) closet. If you’re not familiar with the weather situation that’s been going down over here as of late, the temperature has been comically unpredictable. One day it may be 80 degrees, and the next we’re talking low 40s. To paraphrase, there’s a decent—nay, likely—chance New Yorkers won’t experience a real, true fall this year, which, although disappointing, also seems to be a reoccurring theme here. While we watch this confused weather conundrum unfold, why not allow me to open my metaphorical wardrobe doors and show you around?

Over the last couple of months, I’ve strategically been adding pieces to my closet that are a mix of staples and style-forward separates. My personal vibe is pretty pared down (no zebra prints or cowboy boots over here, unfortunately), so much of what you’ll find below, you can likely incorporate into your own wardrobe no matter your personal style, be it adventurous or subdued. Also, I’m a freelance writer, so much of what I invest in has to translate to a gamut of situations—dinners; coffee with clients; the occasional party; and the less glamorous, more frequent scenario: working from the library. Or coffee shop, depending on my mood. Whatever the case, scroll down to see and shop my 24 NYC fashion picks of the moment.

The other day, I wore this jacket while running errands and passed a little boy on the street who was wearing a similar textured teddy coat (his was adorned with bear ears—much cooler), and he promptly smiled and began pointing at me. I like the kind of outerwear that elicits this type of we’re twins reaction from children. Also, it’s gloriously warm and makes people want to hug you.
Lauren Bucquet, the 10-year veteran design director at Rag & Bone, just launched her own direct-to-consumer footwear label called Labucq. Every piece in the collection is divine, especially these python ankle boots, which I will henceforth be wearing with everything in my wardrobe.
I love women, so, naturally, when I found out that e-comm site Mille curates pieces from all female designers, I quickly became a regular customer. I just discovered this necklace and appreciate how versatile it is while still feeling special—the true mark of an investment-worthy jewelry piece if you ask me.
Winter is coming! Protect your lips from the cold wind with a go-to balm. I just picked this lip conditioner up while at a pharmacy in Paris and am obsessed. Thankfully, Caudalie is available stateside, as well.
I’m a big fan of pretty much everything Nanushka is doing right now and found myself returning to this cute belt bag over and over. I bet you can guess what happened next.
Stutterheim is my favorite brand for raincoats. Versatile colorways, understated silhouettes, and good quality—everything a wet-adverse gal could ever hope for.
I’m really vibing on socks right now (that felt creepy to say out loud…), and I recently discovered this brand via Instagram and fell in love. Also, these florals will help me from becoming grumpy when it’s freezing outside—possibly.
I suffer from decision paralysis, so when I learned this new sustainable denim brand The Feel Studio Inc. only offers one pair, I was elated.
I’ve done ballet from age 5 to (if you count a class at Alvin Ailey this past January) present, so I have a special place in my heart for all things ballerina. Dôen did a beautiful job of interpreting these shoes for everyday wear, and they also come in black!
I normally wear tortoiseshell sunglasses, but a very smart lady working at Krewe steered me in the direction of these beauties, and I have zero regrets. It’s hard to tell, but the frames are flush with the lens, creating a subtly cool effect.
No crazy, unique backstory to this purchase, just a gorgeous crewneck sweater I shall wear into the ground.
It’s not easy to design a folksy dress without it coming out looking like a character from Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, but year after year, Sea manages to do it flawlessly. This dress, in particular, has me especially excited because of the enticing cutout in the front and the moody floral print. The perfect autumn dress!
Le Petit Trou Mathilde Triangle Bra ($88) and Brief ($78)There are few things I love as dearly as a matching lingerie set.
Apparently, this product not only stimulates growth but also nourishes your existing brows with yummy ingredients like sweet almond, rosemary, lavender, and sandalwood oils, which is seriously going to come in handy once winter comes around and my face is subjected to the cruel, harsh winds of New York City.
This has become my second skin; I never take it off, and I never want to.
I usually don’t write from home, but if I dom I like to wear the most comfortable clothing in existence, hence this purchase.
Alas, another Instagram brand discovery. I’m starting to think Instagram wants to pillage my checking account.
Another thing about NYC (or just cold-weather locations in general) is that if you have long hair like mine, it tends to get twisted up into knots underneath coats and scarves. I no longer make this mistake, instead tying it up into a braid or bun. This season, I’ll be throwing a leather scrunchie in the mix to make it even more fun.
Verde Limon Cupertino Otomi Print Bikini Top ($108) and Briefs ($99)If you were granted access to my Google search history (you won’t be, sorry), you’d find a rather thorough list of vacation destinations for the month of December. I haven’t landed on one yet, but now that I have this swimsuit, there is no turning back.
Listen—sometimes it’s just nice to feel sexy when you fall asleep!
Plaid blazers are all the rage, didn’t you know? This one makes me happy because it’s slightly oversize, which elicits a cute French aesthetic.
Richer Poorer Cut Out Bralette ($28) and Femme Boxer ($24)Also filing this one under things I currently wear at home while reading and or writing.
All aboard the prairie dress trend bandwagon—self included.
It’s no coincidence I put these last. I understand these black slacks look rather drum, but hear me out The high waist cinches at the perfect spot on my 5′ 5″ frame, the silhouette is the ideal width, and the crop comes just above my ankle bones, which looks amazing with flats. In other words, these aren’t going to steal the show, but they are the kind of pants you’ll find yourself reaching for several days in a row—trust me. Also, $40? Yes, please, thank you very much!

Looking ahead: your essential 2019 shopping list.
