Embellished dresses are typically best worn on their own. Because they already feature some sort of decorative element, whether it’s glass beads, studs, pearls, or feathers, it’s best to skip any over-the-top jewelry as not to clash with the ornaments on the piece. You can easily dress them up or down depending on the occasion: Pair them with sneakers or heels or layer on a moto jacket or blazer. Naturally, we navigated to the fashion section first and promptly felt the need to share her picks. Why? Well, Oprah is our kind of girl. The kind of girl who can fall “truly, madly, deeply in love with a pair of pj’s” and describes most tracksuits as “schlumpadinka.”

In fact, she is so truly entertaining that we want to hire her to write our product captions. Just let us know, Oprah. Beyond witty copy, though, she stands behind each product that makes the cut and seems to have tested them herself. Her stamp of approval is akin to how the Brits have products with royal warrants that are queen-approved. After all, she is our version of royalty. But don’t let us hold us you up any further. Harely-Davidson’s latest tease of their LiveWire electric bike comes in the form of stunning new photos (above) and a badass video that debuted at the EICMA in Milan. 

The production model looks great with a bright orange case and beefy build, but there are no performance specs to be found. A press release explains its power come from “a permanent magnet electric motor that produces instant torque the moment that throttle is twisted.” 

It won’t be as silent as we once thought—the LiveWire will produce a tone that increases in pitch and volume with speed. You can hear it in action in the video above. 

An adjustable Showa suspension is designed to maximize the LiveWire’s performance and agility on twisting backroads or urban streets. Riders will be able to fine-tune three of its seven driving modes to suit their needs. 

The two-wheeled EV is also packed with more technology than perhaps any other Harley ever made. 

Per Harley-Davidson:

A color touch screen TFT display (thin-film-transistor, a type of liquid-crystal display noted for high image quality and contrast) located above the handlebar offers the rider a wide range of information on a screen that’s bright and easy to read.

The display unit is tilt-adjustable to afford most riders a perfect viewing angle. The TFT screen also allows the rider to access the interface for Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, music and more.

The LiveWire motorcycle features a RESS (Rechargeable Energy Storage System, or the main battery) composed of lithium-ion cells surrounded by a finned, cast-aluminum housing.

The LiveWire motorcycle is also equipped with a small 12-volt lithium-ion battery that powers the lights, controls, horn and instrument display. Charging can be completed using the on-board Level 1 charger that plugs into a standard household outlet with a power cord that stores below the motorcycle seat.

Set to go on sale in 2019, the American motorcycle company will reveal details regarding pricing, the pre-order process and hopefully, performance specs in January.  

We’ll be waiting. 

The fictional universe of Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad just keeps expanding, and no one is complaining. There’s prequel Better Call Saul—equal in the great acting and screenwriting departments—and now The Hollywood Reporter reveals that show creator Gilligan is working on a new, feature-length Breaking Bad-related movie.

Will Walter White (Bryan Cranston) come back from the dead? That’s anybody’s guess, but the vague description of the movie’s story certainly points to who might be the central character.

Details on the project, which has been floating around the industry with a possible fake/working title of Greenbrier, are slim. It’s unclear if the movie would be another prequel — like AMC’s Better Call Saul — or a follow-up of some sort.

It’s also unclear is if any of the original stars, such as Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul, are involved in the new project, which sources stress will be set in the existing Breaking Bad franchise.

Gilligan, sources say, will pen the script, executive produce and possibly direct. Breaking Bad and prequel series Better Call Saul exec producers Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein are also said to be attached to the film project, which is said to follow the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom.

Production is expected to begin this month in New Mexico. The New Mexico Film Office confirmed that a project with the title of Greenbrier is slated to shoot in in the region.

A “kidnapped man” sure sounds like Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman. In the Breaking Bad series finale he escaped a meth lab where he’d been held and forced to cook against his will. 

Vince Gilligan’s response to a question in a GQ interview not long after Bad‘s series finale seems to indicate he really liked the idea of Jesse getting away and living a new life:

My personal feeling is that he got away. But the most likely thing, as negative as this sounds, is that they’re going to find this kid’s fingerprints all over this lab and they’re going to find him within a day or a week or a month.

And he’s still going to be on the hook for the murder of two federal agents. But yeah, even though that’s the most likely outcome, the way I see it is that he got away and got to Alaska, changed his name, and had a new life. You want that for the kid. He deserves it.

A man on the run after he was kidnapped who searches for freedom? Sure sounds like a solid fit for the Jesse Pinkman.

Greenbrier—likely a working title—will film in New Mexico through February with a possible release in late 2019. No one knows if it will premiere on AMC, home network for Bad and Better Call Saul, Netflix, or in theaters.

Given the size of the franchise’s fan following, it seems like a good bet Greenbrier will draw a big audience no matter what.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is teaming up with Under Armour yet again for a new collection in his Project Rock line that drops November 8, with pieces that honor veterans and all those who serve and have served.

The official press release reads:

Dwayne and Under Armour have a shared respect for first responders and the incredible men and women of the United States military – everyday citizens willing to sacrifice everything for the greater good of their brothers and sisters.

This Veteran’s Day, Dwayne and UA are launching the newest capsule from the Project Rock collection as part of the UA Freedom initiative.

The Veteran’s Day collab features a new camo colorway of the the Project Rock 1 sneaker, which sold out in 30 minutes a few months ago when it first launched.

The sneakers have reinforced heel support, a rubber sole for traction, and a snug compression-like knit upper that wraps around the ankle for support.

There’s also a camo colorway of Under Armour’s wireless sweat-proof gym headphones, which have an anti-slip and sweat-resistant liner on the ear pads to keep them in place.

Other items in the capsule include training gear like sweatpants, t-shirts, hoodies, and a rugged camo gym bag, all with a military aesthetic of black, grey, and olive tones.

The apparel is emblazoned with The Rock’s motto “Blood, Sweat, RESPECT” as a nod to “the sacrifices and bravery of those selfless individuals who fight to protect our freedom.”

The Veteran’s Day collection supports Team Rubicon, which is a veteran service organization that aids in disaster response, and will help the victims of Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael. 

It’s no secret that The Rock loves the great U.S. of A. and is beyond proud to be an American — He’s even toyed with the idea of running for President, albeit not in 2020. 

Speaking to Vanity Fair, he said he has “so much respect for the position. It’s something that I seriously considered. What I need is time to go out and learn.

“It’s a position that requires years of hard work and experience to learn the skills. There’s a lot of ground to cover, and due to my schedule, it’s not possible in 2020.”

But with that said, The Rock is and has been politically in the know for a while now. Back in 2011, over an hour before Obama announced the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, he tweeted:

It’s unknown where exactly Johnson got the intel before it was formally announced, but it’s believed that he heard the news from his cousin, who happens to be a Navy SEAL, or from Keith Urbahn — the former chief of staff to former U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld — who tweeted about bin Laden’s death mere seconds before Johnson did.

Well, what can I say? The Rock is one powerful dude. The highest-paid actor in Hollywood, potential future President of the United States, avid military supporter, and holder of classified military information. Yep, this man can do it all.

With the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show happening in just a few days, bombshell model Bella Hadid finally confirmed her glorious presence with a simple yet stunning Instagram post that she will indeed be walking in her third VS Fashion Show this year.

She initially captioned the picture:

@victoriassecret fittings today?i can’t wait for you to see all of the beautiful outfits …i’m so grateful to be a part of the show again, feeling happier and healthier than ever? 

However, her cheeky post was met with a lot of criticism, with fans body shaming her and leaving harsh comments such as “You said this is healthy? Your bones are showing off and you said it’s healthy?” and “Skin and bone. That second page is quite frankly disturbing.”

Another user commented: “I have nothing against being slim but this is unhealthy on so many levels. Shame on @victoriassecret for encouraging and promoting this totally unrealistic image. We must put an end to the concept of looks = value.”

And after receiving so much hate for her slimmer than ever figure, she addressed her haters by editing her caption to include:

(all body types are different and react differently to a great workout routine and a healthy diet❤️???)

Well said, Bella. Clearly, she’s been working her ass off to get that bangin’ bod, and that’s something that should be admired. Frankly, I think most women would love to have a body as incredible as hers.

And as long as she’s happy and healthy, we’re not complaining about pictures like those. Keep ’em coming, I say….
