Yep, You’ll Want to Wear Ugg Boots Like 2000s Kate Moss

It’s that time of year when anything non-cozy just won’t cut it anymore. Cotton sheets? Swap them for flannel. T-shirts? Replace ’em with soft turtlenecks. Flats? Well, they’re nowhere near as warm as a pair of Ugg boots. If you’re searching for styling ideas for your Uggs, look no further than Kate Moss, who regularly wore the boots in the early 2000s—and her outfits could still look right at home today.

In one outfit, for instance, Moss paired short Ugg boots with on-trend baggy jeans, a furry vest, and a sleek black turtleneck. She once paired the shoes with a cozy teddy coat, a trend we’ve been spotting on every It girl lately, and also teamed them with a polished peacoat, gray skinny jeans, and a wide-brim hat. Scroll down to see how 2000s Kate Moss wore Ugg boots and shop them for yourself.

The McLaren Stealth 720S Is a Lust-Worthy Bespoke Supercar

View the 6 images of this gallery on the original article

Mclaren Special Operations’ latest version of the one of the most  acclaimed supercars on the planet has a name that really doesn’t do it justice.

Even though its sleek lines have been dressed in a muted grey paint job, the 720S “Stealth” is destined to draw the awestruck gaze of pretty much anyone who sees it.

McLaren says the palette was inspired by the F1 GTR that took the title at the Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe in 1995. The MSO team spent nearly 200 hundred hours adding eye-catching red accents that create a through line from the hood to the rear deck, as well as carbon fiber intakes and door mirrors.

The striking color contrast continues below on the alloy wheels. Nine of the 10 spokes on each are finished in a custom satin black, with a single spoke highlighted in red.

A “sports-oriented” interior with a carbon fiber switch and center panel is surrounded by high-end trim. Other additions include red leather and stitching on the fascia, door inners and seats.

Under the hood is the same 710-horsepower, twin-turbocharged V8 capable of hitting a sub-three second 0-60 mph time and a maximum speed of 212 mph.

As Motor 1 notes, the luxurious ride was special-ordered by McLaren’s London dealer through the MSO Defined program, which allows customers to create a bespoke car with personalized touches.

It might just be the perfect combination of looks and performance—decide for yourself by scrolling through the photo gallery above.

‘Creed II’ Star Michael B. Jordan Says He’d Fight Roy Jones Jr., Boxer Accepts Challenge

Michael B. Jordan; Roy Jones Jr.

Boxing’s former pound-for-pound king Roy Jones Jr. is almost 50 years old, but age won’t keep him from ducking a challenge–especially from an actor calling him out to step back into the ring.

So when Creed II star Michael B. Jordan issued one in an offhand way while speaking to TMZ, the retired Jones said he was ready to go.

TMZ Sports cameras caught up with Jordan in Hollywood and asked him who he’d take on if he could, and he said, “Roy Jones, that’s my dude, bro. I feel like I could do my thing a little bit. I could hold my thing, right now, but in his prime, nah.”

In a response given to TMZ, Jones said he wouldn’t hesitate to step in the ring with the seriously shredded Jordan, who has transformed his physique for roles in Black Panther and the Creed movies.

“I ain’t running from nobody,” he said in part, “If Michael B. wants this for real, contact Roy Jones Jr., and we will make it happen.”

It likely wouldn’t be much of a contest. Jones, who is featured as a fight commentator along with real-life HBO boxing analyst colleagues Max Kellerman and Jim Lampley, surely still has more than enough pugilistic skills to clown the younger man in the ring.

But will it actually happen? It’s obvious Jordan was popping off in a random convo, so it seems pretty unlikely.

Sadly, Jordan wouldn’t be able to meet the challenge with the ghost of Apollo Creed by his side. In Creed II, however, his character almost did. No, seriously, according to Business Insider, director Steven Caple Jr. said that was originally in Sylvester Stallone’s script:

“Sly had a ghost version at one point,” Caple told Business Insider.

The idea Stallone had was that while Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) is recovering in the hospital from his first fight with Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), for a brief moment while in and out of consciousness he would see his father, Apollo, standing in the corner of the room.

“In regards to tone, it wasn’t on my level of where I was going with the film,” Caple said. “Sly had it in just as an idea we could use, but I thought it might throw people off. And then I was thinking what does Apollo wear? Is it [actor] Carl Weathers today or from back in ‘Rocky IV’?”

So yeah, some kind of Obi Wan Kenobi in Star Wars stuff could’ve gone down. Caple actually came close to meeting Stallone halfway on this point, though, proposing that Jordan’s character hear his father’s voice say, “Get up, son” after a knockdown.

Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa; Carl Weathers as Apollo Creed

Ultimately it obviously didn’t work out, and that’s probably good, because it sort of sounds like the kind of thing critics might’ve ripped to shreds.

The “Apollo’s Ghost” and Jones fight have something in common, if you think about it: Both are dumb ideas. And just like the ghost appearance, the boxing match probably won’t happen either.

This Instagram Model Was Refused Entry To The Louvre Because Her Outfit Was Too Revealing

When it comes to visiting religious tourist attractions like churches and temples, it’s common knowledge that there’s a strict dress code.

But for normal museums? Usually not…but according to an Australian Model named Newsha Syeh, the Louvre in Paris didn’t let her in because of her outfit, even though they technically don’t have a dress code.

Apparently, Syeh was denied entry to the Louvre because of her outfit, which was a super low-cut mesh dress that showed off her ample cleavage.

“Picasso would have loved my outfit,” she captioned a post on Instagram, showing off the very dress that stopped her from getting in.

She also posted an Instagram story saying: “Yesterday at the Louvre, I was stopped at the entrance by a guard for my outfit.

“He made the most disgusted and horrible gestures and facial expressions, swore at me to cover up, with hate filled eyes stopped me entering. I was heartbroken, because I thought the Louvre enforced this archaic rule. Turns out…it does not,” she continued.

She shared a screenshot of a Google search showing the Louvre’s dress code, which states that there is no dress code, but the Louvre’s “Visitor Regulations” page does state that it is prohibited to “wear swimsuits, or be naked, bare-chested or barefoot.”

Maybe the “bare-chested” part is what they were stopping her for?

Speaking with Daily Mail Online, Syeh explained: “I tend to be a little rebellious with the way I dress, but I was born in a country where women would be arrested just for showing their hair, so I celebrate the freedom other countries afford me now.

“He [the guard] eventually did let us into the museum after I put on my giant coat on that very hot day, but I didn’t feel in the mood to enjoy art anymore after that. We walked straight back out and enjoyed the rest of Paris.”

After the whole fiasco, one of Syeh’s 277,000 followers commented their own Louvre adventures in which they also got turned away:

When I visited The Louvre with my sister a few years ago. We wore winter clothes with boots and we got denied entry by security for being ‘Under dressed.’ They were so rude about it too and cussed us out until we had no choice but to walk away feeling embarrassed.

Another follower sweetly commented: “I’m sorry that happened – I think your outfit is the most beautiful thing. Biggest love!”

And I agree. I don’t know what that guard was thinking, because Syeh looks amazing. Besides, the paintings and statues in the Louvre totally show naked boobs (the statue of Aphrodite? Hello?!), so I don’t know what the big deal is.
