My Summer Vibe Is “A-List Energy” Thanks to Versace’s Latest Eyewear Collection

If you want to talk A-list energy, no one is doing it like Versace. Only five months into 2023, the iconic design house has already given us some of the most major fashion moments of the year with runway ready-to-wear and red carpet looks that rank “best dressed” every single time. And Versace’s latest eyewear collection is pushing me to go further. Even on my not-so-great days, putting on a pair of these glasses will instantly boost my confidence. From reinvented cat-eye shapes to classic oversize frames, the glasses in this collection are the only accessories you need for summer. Keep scrolling to shop my favorite styles.

Featuring the fashion house’s signature Medusa motif, these sunglasses embrace the strength that the mythical character represents. The shape itself is an edgier take on the classic cat-eye, leaning toward that sporty look Gen Z can’t get enough of. And if you’ve read anything here on WWW, you know silver accents are having a moment, with the fashion set donning all things metallic lately. Gold will always remain a staple, but accessorizing with on-trend silver this summer is definitely a good idea.

If you’re all about sticking to the classics, it doesn’t get more timeless than these square frames. The rich black colorway, recognizable gold insignia, and oversize look scream, “No pictures, please.” Of course, the paparazzi might not be knocking down your door, but if the goal is to give off rich energy, look no further than these frames. This more neutral style can be dressed up with a matching black pantsuit or dressed down for your everyday athleisure. No matter your outfit of choice, these will be a go-to pair all summer long.

When it comes to eyeglasses for everyday wear, look no further than these frames. The Medusa Glasses are another timeless design defined by the signature Medusa plaque, and they’ll give every outfit the expensive-looking upgrade we’re all after right now. The subtle cat-eye shape and gold detailing make them the perfect combination of classic and statement-making, so whether you need prescription glasses or just like the clear look, these are a major step up from your average eyewear.

I Just Got Back From Mallorca—Here’s the One Outfit Formula I Wore Every Day

Don’t you love the feeling of earning a brand-new stamp on your passport? Earlier this month, I went to Spain for the first time and those four square centimeters of fresh ink were so satisfying because of what they represented: a chance to explore a destination through an unspoiled lens. Oh, and also the opportunity to take some excellent outfit pics, of course.

I traveled to the small town of Deià on the island of Mallorca with the express purpose of celebrating the launch of the new Kurt Geiger x Matthew Williamson collaboration. Why Deià, you might ask? Williamson is a British ex-pat who has made his home in the picturesque hilltop village for the last 8 years (cue the jealousy). Since it’s also Kurt Geiger creative director Rebecca Farrar-Hockley’s favorite vacation destination, it was a no-brainer to use the locale as inspiration for the collab.

“My job was to create a print that would encapsulate Kurt Geiger, my brand, and Deià,” Williamson told me. “I started looking at traditional Mallorcan ikat patterns, so I wanted to incorporate that. The florals were actually inspired by these wild orchids that grow on the road down from my house in Deià to my daughter’s school, so all of that is enmeshed in the print.”

The result? “We’ve ended up with a colorway that represents both Kurt Geiger, with our distinctive rainbow palette, and the amazing Mediterranean sea: turquoise, blue, and green,” Farrar-Hockley told me. “And then the rich burnt aubergine and orange of the sunset. The prints Matthew created really sum up those two sides for me.”

I decided to style the collab in a way that would put the colors front and center. Specifically, my favorite vacation outfit formula involves an oversized white button-down shirt, white linen pants, and colorful accessories.

Scroll down to see how I styled the new Kurt Geiger x Matthew Williamson collab and shop the pieces for yourself. In addition to online, the items will be featured in pop-up shops throughout the month of June at six different Bloomingdale’s locations.

What I’m wearing: Kurt Geiger x Matthew Williamson Kensington Swimsuit ($125), Orion Sandals ($195), and Kensington Bag ($325); Abercrombie shirt; J.Crew pants

I’m simply obsessed with this swimsuit. The vivid colors are so fun for summer, while the one-shoulder silhouette is incredibly classic.

Meet my new favorite summer sandals. In Mallorca, I trekked down to the beach in these shoes and they were extremely comfortable.

How cool is this bag? My favorite part is the beautiful scarf that comes attached. This is sure to garner compliments aplenty.

Watch The 1,001-HP Lamborghini Revuelto Scorch Nurburgring Test Track

Lamborghini Revuelto sightings are extremely rare, as the first examples of the Raging Bull marque’s new, 1,001-horsepower flagship model won’t be delivered to U.S. customers until late 2023. The Revuelto’s rarity in the wild is what’s made this footage of the the hybrid supercar lapping the Nurburgring so compelling.

The YouTube channel CarSpyMedia released a viral compilation of clips showing the Revuelto taking on the hallowed test track—aka “Green Hell”—giving viewers a first impression of the car’s performance.

A majority of the Revuelto’s power comes from the lightest and most powerful V12 engine in Lamborghini history. The brand-new 6.5-liter unit produces a total of 814 horsepower and can rev up to 9,500 RPM.

(Lamborghini)

The remaining output is developed in two motors mounted on the front axle and a third integrated into the new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, bringing the grand total to a truly absurd 1,001 horsepower. Zero to 60 mph takes 2.5 seconds, 124 mph comes in under seven seconds, and it’ll hit 217 mph flat-out.

Road & Track points out that traffic on the Nurburgring prevented a true test of limits, but even when the track was clear and the Revuelto was pushing, the car looked incredibly composed as it charged down the notoriously difficult track’s racing line. The V12 also sounds punchy, but perhaps a little subdued given its pedigree.

As the Nurburgring footage began making the rounds, Lamborghini released a new video in which Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Federico Foschini explains why Lamborghini has pivoted to a hybrid platform.

“With this car we step into the world of electrification, but we want to do it, as Lamborghini, with a DNA that’s all about fun and performance.
This car will be the interpretation of the electrification trend according to Lamborghini,” Foschini said.

(Lamborghini)

“That’s why we created a new acronym, HPEV, that… means High Performance Electrified Vehicle, because for us everything is oriented towards fun to drive and performance. Obviously, in this case we’ll also have an element of CO2 reduction to also meet a sustainability trend.”

Foschini also gave extra background on the name “Revuelto.” Like the Aventador and Murcielago, the Lamborghini Revuelto is named after a fighting bull.

(Lamborghini)

“‘Revuelto’ is the name of a bull that fought in 1880 and left the arena eight times during the fight, so it was a very wild bull. As this car will be once it hits the road.”

Net-a-Porter’s New Edit Is Vacation Style Goals—I’m Dreaming of These 19 Pieces

I don’t know about you, but I’ve had only one thing on my mind lately: vacation. I’m dreaming of sunshine, salty hair, and lounging poolside with a piña colada. And of course, I’m envisioning a chic wardrobe—more specifically, a chic designer wardrobe. (I’m only human.) When I went to the Net-a-Porter site and saw the editor-favorite retailer launched its vacation edit, which even features a few pieces exclusive to the site from designers including Nili Lotan and Tod’s, I had to stop everything I was doing to peruse. Maybe I’m being dramatic, but you would be too if you saw this gorgeous crochet dress from Chloé, these printed Pucci shorts, or any of the other stunning items in the edit. You get the point: I’m obsessed.

Naturally, I shared the edit with my co-workers, who are taking some time to get away to sunny destinations this season (even if it’s just a quick trip along the California coast), and they instantly fell in love with the selection, too. Keep scrolling to see what they’re fantasizing about packing in their suitcases.

“This summer, I’m planning a lot of trips down to my hometown of Laguna Beach. Instead of traveling too far, spending some time at my favorite childhood beaches is the perfect way to enjoy the season. Laguna is really laid-back and kind of quirky, which is why I’m planning on wearing simple swimsuits and accessorizing them with printed separates and statement bags. Net-a-Porter is always my go-to for both basics and trendy pieces, and it definitely delivered this season. Catch me on the trolly in Laguna wearing my new Pucci shorts and Loewe sunglasses all summer long.”

“I’ll be soaking up the California sun this season and indulging in fresh seafood during my stay at a true seaside gem: Santa Barbara. This charming city is the epitome of coastal chic, so I’m turning to Net-a-Porter’s vacation edit for some much-needed style inspiration. It has all the must-have designers from Chloé to Ancient Greek Sandals. Find me roaming the cute, beachy town in lightweight crochet ensembles (I’m envisioning this stunning Chloé maxi dress), deep-blue swimwear, and pretty, woven accessories.”

“I have a trip planned to Mexico this summer, so getaway ‘fits are definitely top of mind. When it comes to vacation style, I look for easy, effortless pieces—think matching sets and lots of linen. This summer, I’m investing in chic accessories (e.g. these ultra-cool Gucci square-framed sunnies and this luxe Khaite raffia bag) that elevate all my summer basics. In my opinion, you can never have too many.”

Nothing beats a chic cover-up, and this one is top of mind.

The embellished details are just *chef’s kiss.*

These classic flatform sandals are a basic that you’ll wear again and again… and again.

I’m obsessed.

My love for bucket hats knows no bounds.

More crochet, please.

The rose trend is not going anywhere, so hop on it with this pretty bikini top.

I Look at Nordstrom Daily—30 Anti-Trend Finds I Can’t Stop Thinking About

I’ll admit, I have a bad habit when it comes to shopping, sometimes I get so excited about trying new trends and putting my own spin on them that my wardrobe can end up looking like a pile of trends that don’t always stay in style for longer than a season or two. This summer I have two missions, to shop smarter, and to but pieces that are versatile and can be worn over and over again. Naturally, this journey towards timeless chic pieces that I’ll be styling all season long led me to a deep dive on Nordstrom’s site for the best basics I could find. I went in with a few things in mind: great shoes that can go from day to night, jeans that I’ll keep for years, and dresses that can go from the office to happy hour. As always Nordstrom had everything that I was looking for and more from all of my favorite brands like COS and Levi’s and styles that feel fresh and elevated.

While I may be focused on shopping smarter that doesn’t mean I’m willing to sacrifice on style, keep scrolling to see which chic Nordstrom basics I can’t wait to wear this summer.

Trust me you’ll be wearing this dress all summer long.

Summer is the season of white linen pants.

I’m not a huge ballet flat fan but these may have just changed that.

Stye this tank with your favorite white linen pants or white jeans for a chic minimal look.

For when your look requires black trousers but it’s the middle of summer.

You’re going to want to order this linen midi dress fast – I’m sure this one is going to be sold out ASAP.

Only a few left of these, I’m obsessed.

This gives the same vibe as the gorgeous Bottega Veneta straw bag at a price my wallet likes.

These sunglasses are so chic.

My favorite leggings ever.

Meet your new favorite low black heels. I’ll be wearing them all summer.

An easy sheath dress for a date night.

Meet your new favorite white tank.

My color combo of choice when it comes to belts. Black and gold.

Okay, how cute are these?

I know Rosette’s are on the trendy side but this style of dress is such a classic.

My summer uniform is little white tops and denim so this Madewell pick is perfect.

’90s straight leg jeans are having a moment this summer.

A pretty and simple date night look.

You’re going to be wearing his 24/7.

A good black corset is a basic if you ask me, it’s my go-to for when I have night-out plans but not sure what to wear.

If you haven’t tried a bodysuit / onesie yet this is your sign to give them a try. You wont regret it.

Simple yet sophisticated.

I’m a sucker for a good belt.

Denim maxi skirts are everywhere for a reason.

Tie on a white button-down for a easy sophisticated look.

You’re going to live in these shorts this summer.

There’s something very ’90s supermodel about this strapless dress.

These jeans are like my secret weapon.

‘Black Mirror’ Season 6 Trailer Reveals Release Date & Stars Salma Hayek Pinault

(Netflix Tudum)

Netflix has released the official trailer for the sixth season of Black Mirror, which reveals that the critically-lauded dystopian series will return on June 15.

The new season features a stacked cast of guest stars, including Salma Hayek Pinault, Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Rory Culkin, Rob Delaney, and Zazie Beetz.

The new trailer gives fans a first look at upcoming episodes, including one called “Joan Is Awful,” in which an average woman (Annie Murphy) discovers that a Netflix-style global streaming platform called Streamberry has launched a prestige drama based on her life, in which she is played by Hayek Pinault, who in real life is married to billionaire French fashion mogul François-Henri Pinault.

Black Mirror creator and co-showrunner Charlie Brooker told Netflix-owned fan site Tudum that the new season will offer plenty of surprises.

“I’ve always felt that Black Mirror should feature stories that are entirely distinct from one another, and keep surprising people (and myself) or else what’s the point?” Brooker said. “It should be a series that can’t be easily defined, and can keep reinventing itself.”

The series first premiered in December 2011 on Channel 4 in the U.K., and was purchased by Netflix ahead of the third season in 2016.

Black Mirror‘s fifth season dropped in June 2019, following the premiere of its 2018 interactive feature film “Bandersnatch.” The series has snared 14 Emmy nominations and won eight Emmys, including outstanding TV movie for the “San Junipero,” “USS Callister” and “Bandersnatch” episodes in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

IWC Debuts Special 75th Anniversary Editions Of Pilot’s Watch Mark XX

Some things are worth a look into the rearview mirror, or turning back the clock, like a legendary watch that changed timekeeping for pilots.

The watch in question is the British Royal Air Force-approved IWC Mark 11, which proved the ideal source of inspiration for two new editions of the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX.

(IWC)

IWC pilot’s watches are plenty impressive in their own right, with designs that broke new ground and set technical benchmarks — the duo celebrates 75 years of innovation in fitting fashion.

The Pilot’s Watch Mark XX debuted last year in colors like a bold blue, but it already boasts the sort of design pedigree that perfectly plays off IWC’s high-flying heritage (the Mark 11 was a groundbreaking innovation in the world of modern pilot’s watches, after all).

A post shared by IWC Schaffhausen (@iwcwatches)

The Mark 11 broke new ground thanks to both its legibility via a luminescent, high-contrast dial, not to mention the 89 calibre movement designed to withstand magnetic fields (typically found through interaction with radar screens.

(IWC)

The lineup’s two newest models (one with a five-link stainless steel bracelet, the other featuring a black calfskin leather strap) each boast a silver-plated dial and a nicely sized 40mm stainless steel case.

The automatic IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre movement housed within features a five-day power reserve.

(IWC)

More impressive still is the fact that the front glass on the IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XX is designed to withstand extreme drops in cockpit pressure (IWC’s Top Gun watches also come to mind in that regard).

The Pilot’s Watch Mark XX is billed as a “quintessential sports watch,” complete with 330 feet of water resistance.

(IWC)

The caseback of each watch is adorned with an old-school RAF engraving, plus its reference number and “Pilot’s Watch” notation.

As if those bells and whistles weren’t enough, there are plentiful opportunities to amp up the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX with an added dash of style, courtesy of its integrated, no-tools-needed EasX-CHANGE strap system (compatible with numerous colorful IWC options, of course).

Either IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XX can be yours for $6,150 via IWC, but the utility and multitude of strap options surely deliver a watch that flies high in any collection.

I Just Got Back From Texas—5 Types of Denim Everyone Wore With Cowboy Boots

Western style has recently cemented itself as more of an aesthetic than a trend. The new wave we’re seeing among the fashion crowd is an elevated take on Western-inspired pieces. People are loving the forever-favorite Dallas Boot by Khaite, denim shirting, and statement belt buckles. These accessories can give any look a Southern “twang” without feeling like too much of a statement. With this new era of the Western aesthetic on the rise, I’m telling you not to get rid of your cowboy boots. Trust me—you’ll want to be wearing them in 2023.

I just spent the weekend in Houston, Texas, and the city has already had an effect on my personal style. I mean, I’m wearing my favorite cowboy boots as we speak, so I think that’s saying something. While it’s a very modern city, it still holds on to its Southern roots, and I saw cowboy boots just about everywhere. With how comfortable they are, it makes total sense. I’m filling up my denim drawers for the year and figuring out which styles I’ll be wearing the most. I had to take note of the five types of denim that everyone wore with cowboy boots in Texas to aid in my decision-making process, so explore my observations below.

Skinny jeans are looking to make a comeback, and while we’re only at the beginning of the return of this wardrobe staple, it won’t be long before everyone wants their hands on them. I’m not quite there yet, but slim-fit jeans have definitely caught my eye and are almost the same thing. While most people would think to wear them tucked into a pair of cowboy boots, during my time in Texas, I liked seeing people do the opposite.

Jeans under $50 are always a yes from me.

My kind of “skinny jeans.”

Your straight-leg jeans should most definitely be baggy.

Every fashion person’s favorite denim brand.

I was surprised to see some of my favorite designers last season, such as Brandon Maxwell, showcase overalls in their shows since it’s such a casual and laid-back piece. They’re such a great part of the utilitarian movement that is still running its course, so expect to see them a lot this year. Pairing them with cowboy boots gets you a bonus point.

When someone told me that overalls are back, I believed them after seeing this pair.

They look best oversize.

All about the cargo-meets-overalls vibe.

This styling is so cool.

I wore a maxi denim skirt with my cowboy boots in 2022, and I will continue to do so in the New Year. When it comes to denim trends, maxi and midi skirts are simply taking over, so naturally, I have to mention this trend next. If you’re really dedicated to showing off your love for cowboy boots, I recommend this technique.

Get the vintage look.

Getting a frayed denim skirt was a major power move on my part.

Light wash is such a vibe.

The seaming makes this skirt stand out to me.

Now, this one is a given. Every fashion person’s favorite denim style right now just so happens to be wide-leg jeans. If you’re not ready to commit to cowboy boots taking over your wardrobe but want to let people peek at them, this trend is for you.

I always get compliments when I wear these.

I need these in my life.

How cool are these?

These have been on my wish list for quite some time.

While I have so much love for long skirts, nothing feels better than wearing a mini in warm weather. Cowboy boots definitely pair well with this style, and despite the colder temps, I saw people in Texas showing off their legs with a pair of cowboy boots and a denim mini.

More buttons, please.

This skirt totally has my attention.

An instant classic.

Loving the wash here.

The cowboy boots I couldn’t take off all weekend—so comfortable.

The subtle approach to Western influence.

Every fashion person’s favorite cowboy boots.

The contrast stitching has won me over.

Because everyone is going crazy for all things metallic.

Go for it.

I love how the black heel looks against the sandy-brown colorway.

Slouch meets cowboy boots.
