Is there anything better than super tender, perfectly shredded, juicy pork carnitas?

I THINK NOT.

It’s so stinking good, and you can serve them in any way possible – tacos, quesadillas, over rice, or you can legit just serve them off a baking sheet.

Hey, that’s what I did all week.

Ain’t nobody got time for tacos after a 10-hour work day. Just give me the shredded pork, a fork and I’m good.

Especially with this Instant Pot situation. Simply brown the meat, add your seasonings, and close the lid. 30 minutes later, you have carnitas perfection.

Instant Pot Pork Carnitas

There’s nothing better (or easier!) than making perfectly shredded, juicy, tender pork carnitas right in your pressure cooker!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 (4-pound) boneless pork shoulder, excess fat trimmed and cut into 3-inch chunks
  • 1 (12-ounce) pilsner or lager beer
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Directions:

  1. Set a 6-qt Instant Pot® to the high saute setting.
  2. Heat canola oil; working in two batches, add pork and cook until evenly browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in beer, orange juice, lime juice, garlic, oregano, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Select manual setting; adjust pressure to high, and set time for 30 additional minutes. When finished cooking, quick-release pressure according to manufacturer’s directions.
  4. Remove pork shoulder from the Instant Pot® and shred the meat using two forks; season with salt and pepper, to taste, if needed.
  5. OPTIONAL: Preheat oven to broil. Place pork onto a baking sheet and broil until crisp and crusted, about 2-3 minutes.
  6.  Serve immediately.

Watch Matthew McConaughey Party Hard in NSFW First Trailer for ‘The Beach Bum’

Just imagine if Harmony Korine, the guy who directed Spring Breakers and wrote Kids,  enlisted Matthew McConaughey to play a drug-addled beach bum in a bid to make a classic stoner movie.

Oh, and he enlisted a supporting cast that includes Jimmy Buffett, Snoop Dogg, Jonah Hill, Martin Lawrence, Zac Efron and Isla Fisher to boot. Great news: This actually happened and you can watch the first Red Band trailer for Korine’s The Beach Bum above.

McConaughey stars as a hard-partying dude named Moondog who seems to spend most of his time hanging out, getting wasted by the water, and yes, even playing bongos. So, yeah, basically McConaughey was born to play this role. Moondog asks a convenience store clerk for some acid in the beginning of the trailer to the tune of “Crimson and Clover”, so you know this dude is all about getting mega weird.

“Life’s a fucking rodeo. I’m gonna suck the nectar out of it and fuck it raw ’til the wheels come off,” says McConaughey’s Moondog in the trailer. Well…Alright, alright, alright.

The Beach Bum hits theaters on March 22, 2019, but definitely watch the trailer now to prepare your brain for it.

Watch Ashley Graham Get Totally Soaked in Steamy New Swimsuit Video

Things got hot in a new behind-the-scenes video starring Ashley Graham… maybe even too hot.

The former Maxim cover model had to cool off on set of her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shoot in on the Caribbean island of Nevis, so she had the crew drench her bikini-clad body with a bucket of water.

The playful moment was one of many extremely GIF-worthy outtakes featured in the clip. You’re welcome in advance.

Trolls might try to shame Graham for being dangerously curvy, but they do nothing to shake her confidence. Just take a look at what she told the New York Times earlier this week.

“People ask, ‘How do you get your confidence?'” Graham said. And it’s like how wouldn’t I have confidence? Or they will say, ‘You are so brave for putting on that swimsuit.’ Well why wouldn’t I do that?”

“That’s not called bravery — that is called putting on a swimsuit,” she added. “Everybody has their idea of what beauty is or what perfect is or what the right shape is and they just express it in a different ways.”

Damn straight! Show you agree by liking one of her stunning recent Instagram photos below:
