The #1 Sneakers in France, Japan, and the U.S.
Every time I travel to a new country, I always pay attention to how people dress and love spotting sartorial themes in different corners of the globe. So when I came across data that breaks down different countries’ preferences for sneakers, in particular, I was all ears. The mail forwarding company Foward2Me analyzed Google search data and came up with the most-searched-for sneakers in each country.
Sifting through the data, I noticed some overlap. For instance, Adidas Superstar Sneakers are the most-googled sneakers in a whopping 51 countries, including Italy, Morocco, Peru, India, and Jordan. Adidas NMD sneakers took the top spot in the U.S., Indonesia, Canada, Thailand, and 12 other countries. Interestingly, Balenciaga’s pricey Triple S Sneakers are the most-searched sneakers only in South Korea—which explains why we’ve spotted so many pairs at Seoul Fashion Week.
Without further ado, scroll down to discover and shop the most-Googled sneakers in eight different countries.
