Auburn Cheerleader Turns Heads Before Final Four

The Final Four of the 2025 NCAA Tournament is set with all four No. 1 seeds hoping to punch their ticket to the national title game.

No. 1 overall seed Auburn is set to square off against the Florida Gators in the Final Four on April 5. Head coach Bruce Pearl was reminiscent of the team’s last trip to the Final Four in 2019 when the Tigers lost to eventual champion Virginia in a one-point game.

“The other thing about going in 2019, when we went in 2019 there wasn’t a one seed alive,” Pearl said, via The Paul Finebaum Show. “It was a wide open Final Four with Virginia. Maybe Virginia might have been a No. 1 — I don’t know. I think they were. But Michigan State, Texas Tech on the other side weren’t.

“Right now, I believe you have the four best teams in college basketball. Yeah, they were all No. 1s. But I don’t think there’s a single team outside of these four that you would want to make an argument saying, ‘No, no, they’re one of the top four teams.’ I don’t think there’s a fifth team out there that you can make that argument for. These are the best four teams left.”

As the team prepares for the Final Four, the cheerleaders are doing the same. On the afternoon of April 1, cheerleader Ella Jordan shared a few photos from the team’s win over Michigan State in the Elite Eight.

“AU IS GOING TO THE FINAL 4🦅🤙🏼,” she said in the caption of the post.

George Harrison’s Ex-Wife Doesn’t Hold Back About Beatles Film Casting

In 2028, the world will experience a musical and cinematic event that’s never really happened before. Three years from now, in April, Sony Pictures will release four separate (but connected) movies about the Beatles, all directed by Sam Mendes. The four actors playing each Beatle have been revealed, but one person has some thoughts about the other historical figures in the movie. Namely, herself.

George Harrison’s first wife, Pattie Boyd, recently took to X and fired off a tweet about how the movie would handle her role in the story of the biggest rock band of all time. “I wonder who will be cast to play me?” she said. “That’s assuming that I get to feature in any of the movies…”

An international model in the 1960s, Boyd married Beatles guitarist George Harrison in 1966. They later divorced in 1977. Boyd then married famed guitarist Eric Clapton, a friend of Harrison’s. In fact, the famous Clapton song, “Layla,” was based on Clapton’s romantic feelings for Boyd, while she was still married to Harrison. Clapton and Harrison remained friends, despite the fact that Boyd left Harrison for a different guitarist. To this day, Boyd points out that Harrison frequently cheated on her, which is why she formally left him in 1974. In a recent interview, she called Harrison’s infidelities “blatant.” Clearly plenty of material for a movie!

The new Beatles movies will star Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr. If none of the Beatles’ wives or other relationships are explored at all in any of these four movies, it will be quite curious indeed.

The four separate Beatles movies will hit theaters in April 2028.

Popular Cable News Personality Makes Big Career Move

Steve Kornacki has been a constant presence at MSNBC since joining the network in 2012. He’s now taking his talents elsewhere, albeit in familiar territory.

According to multiple reports, the popular 45-year-old data analyst and election coverage map guru is leaving MSNBC for NBC and NBC Sports. The move comes as NBC’s parent company, NBCUniversal, prepares to spinoff the cable news network.

Kornacki, popular for his unparalleled, laser-focused analytical skills as he is for his khakis, will serve as chief data analyst at NBC News and NBC Sports. Variety on Tuesday reported that Kornacki will have a contributor role but with a long-term commitment. That he won’t be a full-time staffer likely means Kornacki will be free to take on outside projects.

Variety also reported that Kornacki will likely make appearances on Meet the Press and Football Night in America, the latter of which created a huge buzz when he made a crossover just a few years ago during NBC Sports’ NFL playoff coverage. Kornacki has also shared his insights in the Kentucky Derby and March Madness.

Kornacki built a strong following during his time at MSNBC, where his electoral college map analysis was must-see TV during each election cycle. He became MSNBC’s election coverage map correspondent in 2014.

But analyzing election maps and exit polls is far from his only superpower. It’s said that Kornacki, a diehard sports fan who earned a degree in film and television from Boston University, is likely to pursue a game show hosting gig in the future, according to the Los Angeles Times. Kornacki, a huge fan of game shows, apparently got a shot at a game show pilot in 2022.

Kornacki’s the latest to defect MSNBC for NBC. Venerable journalist Andrea Mitchell recently stepped down as host of her show for a role at NBC News.

3 Major Updates on Investigation Into Death of Brett Gardner’s Son

An investigation into the sudden death of Brett Gardner’s son, Miller Gardner, is ongoing and new information has been released.

Miller Gardner died after falling ill on vacation with his family in Costa Rica. Although the family still doesn’t have an exact cause of death of the 14-year-old, there have been some major updates over the past couple of days.

One of the biggest updates came following a press conference on March 31. Randall Zuniga, director of Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Department (OIJ), confirmed that Miller’s death appears to be accidental — and that there’s a new cause of death being investigated.

According to ESPN, authorities are currently looking into possible carbon monoxide poisoning.

Tests performed inside “the room the family was staying” have shown “high emissions of carbon monoxide contamination.” Zuniga stressed these were initial findings and said that the results of forensic toxicology are still pending.

The hotel where the Gardner family stayed — the Arenas Del Mar Resort in Manuel Antonio — has released a statement as well.

“We are heartbroken by the tragic loss that recently occurred on our premises due to causes that have not yet been confirmed,” a spokesperson from the report said in a statement to People. “We are diligently cooperating with the Costa Rican judicial authorities, who have taken over the investigation. We trust that the forensic process will objectively, clearly, and conclusively clarify the causes of this unfortunate incident.”

A second update came by way of confirmation that the FBI is involved in the investigation.

“The entire investigation has involved close coordination with the FBI in the United States. And we must now wait for the final results from forensic toxicology to determine exactly what caused the young man’s death,” Zuniga said in a statement to Us Weekly.

The third major update in the case also came on March 31 by way of E! News. The outlet confirmed that Miller’s body had been returned to his family — five days after he was found dead.

Meanwhile, on March 26, a representative for Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Agency, Juan Pablo Alvarado Garcia, told the Daily Mail that Miller Gardner’s autopsy has been delayed to reasons outside of the family’s control.

He explained that the autopsy results will take two to three months — at least — due to an uptick in gang violence.

“We’re having a hike in homicides as these drug gangs battle for territory and every one of them needs an autopsy,” he told the outlet.

The Gardner family has not released any additional statements after sharing the news of Miller’s death.

This Jeff Bezos Wedding Rumor Is Finally Cleared Up

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s June wedding is going to be an expensive affair. With 200 A-list guests expected to descend upon Venice, Italy for a three-day event, rumors about where the ceremony would take place started to make their way around the internet.

The story first started when CNN reported on March 29 that Luca Zuin, a spokesperson for the mayor of Venice, claimed that the Amazon founder would marry his bride on his $500 million superyacht, Koru. The luxury boat would be anchored in the Venice lagoon and the city was prepared to host the celebrities coming in for the weekend, including Kim Kardashian and Orlando Bloom.

Now, the Daily Mail is denying that the superyacht will be used for their wedding day. “The wedding will not take place on Jeff’s yacht, that has been ruled out,” an insider shared.

While Bezos’ team is working with the city to minimize disruptions during a busy summer tourist season, not everyone is happy about the billionaire’s presence.

The Guardian spoke to locals who are less than thrilled that the wedding might interfere with their busy travel season.

“It’s going to be a great big nuisance,” a tour guide told the media outlet. “I think most people are of the same opinion. We are exasperated by a whole series of problems related to overtourism and this is the umpteenth thing foisted on the city that we have to suffer. We have no idea what kind of behavior to expect from this lot.”

Bezos and Sánchez’s wedding is expected to occur sometime between June 24-26.
