Summer 2026 is going to be quite a ride for Marvel fans. Along with the release of Avengers: Doomsday on May 1, 2026, the latest addition to another superhero series will come shortly after.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, and like Doomsday, there’s tremendous speculation and many big unknowns surrounding the film. While we do know that the newest addition to the Spider-Man series features a new-look logo, actor Tom Holland remained tight-lipped about the movie’s specifics.
After Sony revealed the film’s name at Cinemacon on Monday, March 31, a cryptic message from Holland followed, fueling even more speculation, as Newsweek detailed.

“It’s a fresh new start. That’s all I can say,” Holland said.
Stephen Curry had 52 points, including 12 3-pointers, as the Golden State Warriors held on for a 134-125 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.
Over the weekend, country music star Morgan Wallen caused quite a stir when he abruptly walked off the set of Saturday Night Live immediately after his appearance on the show instead of hanging out with the rest of the crew. While he hasn’t publicly addressed the incident, he did make a pretty telling announcement on social media.
As the show closed, the country music star left the stage while the credits were still rolling, even though the rest of the crew remained and exchanged pleasantries and congratulations, as is customary on the show. Shortly after the incident, Wallen shared a photo from the airport tarmac on his Instagram story, captioned, “Get me to God’s country.”
The incident quickly sparked outrage from SNL fans and led to a very candid response from SNL star Kenan Thompson, who said he “definitely saw it” but wasn’t exactly sure what to make of the abrupt exit.
“I don’t know what goes through people’s minds when they decide to do stuff like that. I don’t know if he understood the assignment or not, or if he was really feeling a certain kind of way,” Thompson toldEntertainment Weekly.
“It’s definitely a spike in the norm. We’re so used to everybody just turning around and high-fiving us, everybody’s saying, ‘Good job, good job, good job.’ So when there’s a departure from that, it’s like, hmm, I wonder what that’s about?” Thompson continued.
“I guess it was just different because it just felt so abrupt. And it was already such a small grouping on the stage anyway. So it was just like, oh wow, that was pretty visible. You know what I’m saying? It was a pretty visible thing.”

A report from Variety indicated that neither his bizarre abrupt departure nor his Instagram post was intended to be a slight on SNL.
“Sources in Wallen’s camp say there’s nothing to the conjecture that the singer was signaling tension, maintaining that he had a good time and no slight was intended with either his prominent exit or his Instagram post,” Variety reported.
“No slight was intended, and the buzz misreads the star just being off-the-cuff as usual,” the outlet’s report continued.
Despite this report, Wallen has not addressed the incident himself, and he seems to be moving on as if nothing happened, simply posting a video on social media promoting a new song. He then made a telling announcement on social media on Tuesday evening.
Amid the controversy, Wallen is now selling t-shirts with the saying “Get Me to God’s Country” on the front of it – the caption of the Instagram post he shared after the SNL incident.
Obviously, the fact that Wallen has not apologized or addressed the abrupt departure himself and is now selling shirts that appear to directly reference the incident is quite telling.
We’ll have to see whether Wallen decides to break his silence on the controversy in the coming days or if he plans to simply move forward in silence and continue selling the shirts presumably referencing the incident.
Over the past few years, Taylor Swift has fought against people sharing the flight information of her private planes on social media. Fortunately for the pop sensation, she got some good news in that regard last week.
Swift and her legal team have continually fought against those sharing her flight information publicly. Her lawyers have been engaged in a legal battle with Florida college student Jack Sweeney for his social media account where he posts the flight information for Swift’s private plane.
Back in February, Swift’s lawyers threatened legal action against him in a Cease and Desist letter to Sweeney.
“For the past year, through these Offending Accounts, you have engaged in stalking and harassing behavior, including consistently publishing real-time and precise information about our Client’s location and future whereabouts to the public on social media. This conduct poses an imminent threat to the safety and wellbeing of our Client and must stop. We request that you immediately cease and desist from any further publication of this information, remove all currently-posted content on the Offending Accounts, and permanently terminate the operation of the Offending Accounts (and any similar accounts involving our Client),” the letter read.
The letter went on to claim that Sweeney was “notorious for disregarding the personal safety of others in exchange for public attention and/or requests for financial gain.”

In a response to the Cease and Desist letter, Sweeney’s attorneys said there is “nothing unlawful” about Sweeney’s actions, pointing out that he was simply sharing information that was available to the public.
Now, however, it might not be as easy for Sweeney and others to track Swift’s flights.
In a stroke of good news for the pop superstar, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) implemented new legislation on Friday that will likely make it harder to track her private planes.
Under the new regulations, private aircraft owners can now request that the FAA withhold their registration numbers for non-commercial flights. Additionally, the administration will keep personal details, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails, out of public view.
The new law allows aircraft owners who demonstrate a security need to apply for a new aircraft identification code, which is used by the automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) system to track aircraft in real time.
Given Swift’s previous attempts to shut down the sharing of information about her flights due to safety concerns, it’s likely that Swift will indeed request for her information to become private, and it’s pretty clear that she will be able to demonstrate a security need.
