Redfall is playable on Steam Deck — with the right settings

Nearly four hours in, I am not at all convinced that Redfall is a good game — unless there’s a lot of hidden depth, it feels like a rare miss from Arkane.

But unlike that other recent big release, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you can make it playable on Steam Deck with a few easy tweaks.

I’m not saying it’ll look good, but it’s a heck of a lot better than the default setting!

Before: 24fps for this grainy mess below.

After: 43fps, and things look smoother, too!

Margot Robbie Wore Cindy Crawford’s Iconic ’90s Chanel Dress to the Met Gala

We’ve already dissected the theme of this year’s Met Gala, and now it’s time to get to the good stuff: the red carpet looks. So far, fashion’s biggest night has not disappointed us in the least—and we still have plenty more looks to see over the course of the evening. Right now, however, I want to shine the spotlight on Margot Robbie, who blew me away with her vintage Chanel look at the Met Gala tonight.

Originally worn by Cindy Crawford on the runway, Robbie wore a Chanel Haute Couture dress from the S/S 93 collection featuring a PVC cutout and gold chain detail at the waist. Scroll down to see Margot Robbie’s 2023 Met Gala dress.

Omg, Jessica Chastain Just Showed Up to the Met Gala—and She’s Bleach Blonde

When I was looking at images from this year’s Met Gala, I almost scrolled straight past Jessica Chastain. Just another celebrity with gorgeous, long blonde hair—nothing to write home about! Then, I did a double take. Could that be? Jessica Chastain?!

The famous redhead debuted platinum blonde hair at this year’s Met Gala. It’s only fitting for this year’s theme, which is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.” Attendees were told to dress honoring Karl, but it looks like Jessica Chastain decided to extend that to the realm of beauty.

Her platinum mane is reminiscent of Lagerfeld’s icy hair, and she’s even sporting oversized shades, which were a key part of the designer’s signature look. It’s the kind of playful homage that makes the Met Gala so much fun.

Chastain’s hair was done by celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora using Hair Rituel by Sisley-Paris products. I’m sure Chastain will be back to her signature fiery red hair in no time, but for tonight, the platinum couldn’t be more fitting.
