Most people wished New England never removed the uniforms from its rotation.
The Patriots sported their iconic “Pat Patriot” red uniforms vs. the Bills on Thursday Night Football, and it drew plenty of reaction.
New England brought back the throwback uniforms for the first time in a decade. The uniform includes a red jersey, white pants and a white helmet with the franchise’s original “Pat Patriot” logo on it. The field at Gillette Stadium also showcased the throwback logo.
The red jersey was the primary uniform for the Patriots for over three decades, starting from the year the franchise began in 1960 until ‘93.
In six different seasons since the red jerseys were replaced by the current blue jerseys in 1993, the throwback uniforms made a resurgence on the field. The Patriots wore them in ‘94 to celebrate the NFL’s 75th anniversary season, then in 2009 for the 50th anniversary of the AFL. They also wore them once during the ‘02, ‘10, ‘11 and ‘12 NFL seasons.
Fans and media members alike were ecstatic to see the throwback uniforms back in action on Thursday night, and it sounds like the general consensus is that fans wish the uniforms never left the Patriots’ rotation.

Political events in D.C. don’t usually draw a crowd of well-dressed celebrities, but tonight certainly seemed to be the exception. The White House hosted a state dinner in honor of French President Emmanuel Macron’s official visit and it proved to be the ultimate convergence of Hollywood and the Hill.
Anna Wintour wore a vintage Chanel look from 1983, which came complete with built-in necklaces, belts, and bracelets. Interestingly, Wintour seems to have broken her own fashion rule. Amy Odell was quick to reference Wintour’s interview from 2019 in which she had some choice words about everyone’s favorite color: “Don’t wear all black,” Wintour had said. “It seems too gloomy as if one’s going to a funeral.” While the embellishments on the black gown certainly livened things up, it’s highly unusual to see Wintour in anything but colorful prints, so this was a rare sighting indeed. Scroll down to see her outfit and what other celebrities wore to the event.
Next, Margot Robbie wore a hair bow on the red carpet so I found an $8 Amazon dupe.

The former NFL star is facing a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an alleged domestic incident that took place earlier this week.

Antonio Brown is again facing legal action in the wake of a recent alleged domestic incident that resulted in an arrest order being issued for the former NFL star in Tampa.
Brown, 34, is reportedly wanted for a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an incident involving the mother of four of Brown’s six children at his south Tampa home on Monday. According to the Tampa Police Department, authorities attempted to enforce the order at Brown’s south Tampa home Thursday, but were unsuccessful.
On Thursday night, NBC News reported Tampa police are still trying to arrest Brown after making multiple attempts outside the home to execute the order. The department also told NBC Brown is “not communicating with police officers.”
Tampa’s WFTS-TV reported earlier in the day that officers were at Brown’s home for over an hour, and used a megaphone to call out to him from his front door. Officers also reportedly yelled, “We’re not going anywhere,” to Brown during their time at the home, and informed him they had already spoken to his attorney.
Tampa police stated Brown and a woman were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical earlier this week. In a statement obtained by Sports Illustrated, authorities said Brown threw a shoe at the woman and tried to evict her from the home. NBC reported Brown threw the woman’s belongings outside, and threatened her via speaker phone, saying at one point that “if she got in the house, he would shoot her in front of police,” per court documents.
According to NBC, the documents stated “the kids were allowed to come inside the residence but the kids did not want to go inside because they were afraid of their dad when he gets in these destructive moods.”
Tampa police sought a risk protection order against Brown Tuesday, in which they alleged he has access to two guns, including a handgun he carries, per WFTS. The request was later rejected by Florida circuit court judge Denise A. Pomponio, according to a document obtained by the website Steelers Now.
