Bradley Chubb is one of numerous NFL players on the move Tuesday amid a flurry of action before the league’s trade deadline.

The veteran linebacker was traded from Denver to Miami in a blockbuster deal. But trades are more than just business. There are emotions involved as well.

Chubb made that clear while sharing heartfelt thoughts about his five seasons as a Bronco with Mike Klis of KUSA-TV in Denver.

“It was [Denver] that gave me my first opportunity to be in the NFL and live out my childhood dream,” Chubb told Klis. “I’m much appreciative of everything and just looking forward to a new chapter in my life.

“I wasn’t involved [in trade talks], but I figured out at the closing part that things were happening. I’m just happy I’m going to a good organization that’s on the up and up, and hopefully, I can be a catalyst to help them go where they need to be.”

Chubb was selected by Denver with the fifth pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft out of North Carolina State. He has 26 sacks in 49 career games and was selected to the Pro Bowl in the ’20 season.

Instagram won’t make an iPad app, but its web interface is getting better

The new Instagram for web interface.

Instagram’s CEO has made it clear that an iPad app isn’t a huge priority for the company, but it is at least doing something to make the big-screen experience better. Some people, including a few members of The Verge’s staff, have started noticing a slightly redesigned version of Instagram for the web, which features a navigation sidebar with links to pages like search, explore, messages, and notifications instead of having those as unlabeled buttons at the top.

The design is relatively similar to how Twitter is laid out and definitely seems more at home on a bigger screen — you get more info about what the buttons are and what they do, and the options to access settings, your saved posts, or the ability to switch accounts have been…

Fantasy Impact: Dolphins Trade for Jeff Wilson Jr. From 49ers

After trading away Chase Edmonds, the Dolphins acquired Jeff Wilson Jr. via trade with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Miami Dolphins have acquired running back Jeff Wilson Jr. from the San Francisco 49ers for a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The move came shortly after Miami sent Chase Edmonds to the Denver Broncos in the Bradley Chubb trade.

These moves shake up the Dolphins backfield, as Wilson will be the No. 2 runner behind starter Raheem Mostert. Remember, those two were teammates back in San Francisco, where Miami coach Mike McDaniel served as the offensive coordinator in 2021. Wilson knows the offense, so he’ll likely be active this weekend.

Wilson, who might have been dropped in fantasy leagues after the Niners added Christian McCaffrey, should now be added back to rosters if he’s available. While he won’t usurp Mostert on the depth chart, Wilson could be very relevant if Mostert is forced to miss time due to injuries. Unfortunately, that’s been an issue with Mostert.

In San Francisco, the Niners will use Elijah Mitchell to back up McCaffrey once he returns from injured reserve. In the meantime, rookie Tyrion Davis-Price and Jordan Mason will serve as the backups. The Niners have a bye in Week 9.

What’s that in the air? Why, it’s the scent of crisp autumn leaves, pumpkin spice everything, and companies finding ways to charge you for things that were previously free. T-Mobile appears to be cashing in on the latter trend, as The T-Mo Report warns that the Uncarrier is about to instate a new activation fee.

T-Mobile hasn’t responded to our request to confirm the new charge, but according to the internal documents obtained by The T-Mo Report and corroborated on Reddit, the $35 Device Connection Charge will be applied to all new postpaid device activations. Previously, the company only charged an activation fee if you used an “assisted channel” like in-store customer support to set up a device on a new line of service. Online orders…
