Here’s an Exclusive First Look at Kygo’s New Xenon Headphones
Scandinavian audio company X by KYGO is expanding its range of stylish over-the-ear headphones with a new model dubbed the Xenon, and Maxim.com has your exclusive first look.
The latest product from internationally-renowned Norwegian DJ and producer Kygo’s burgeoning brand features Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology that works at a range of up to 32 feet. Its audio codecs—the programs that decode digital data—were actually fine-tuned by Kygo and his team of engineers to deliver a premium sonic experience for discerning audiophiles.
Additionally, the Xenon boasts Active Noise Control (ANC) to filter out unwanted ambient sound and a microphone that lets users give voice commands to their device’s AI assistant. Its battery delivers an impressive 24 hours of playback in Bluetooth-only mode, or 16 hours with ANC activated.
Like Kygo’s acclaimed A9/600 model, the Xenon’s clean-cut design is completed by an LED “X” on both exterior panels of the ear cushions. Included with purchase is a sleek black carrying case, charging cable and auxiliary cable for wired use.
Available now in striking black and “Stellar” muted silver colorways (white is on the way), the Kygo Xenon is on sale now for $199.99 online.
GMC and Harley-Davidson Join Forces For Limited Edition Sierra Pickup Truck
After building an official Harley-Davidson-flavored Ford F-150 in 2018, pickup cusotmizer Tuscany Motor Co. is giving the GMC Sierra a similar treatment for 2020.
The tricked-out truck boasts over 65 custom components inspired by the Harley Fat Boy. Its grille features patterned mesh shaped by the bike brand’s Bar and Shield logo and surrounded by an orange contour insert. Above that is a fully replaced hood with black injection-molded hood vents that provide induction air flow.
Just in front of the side mirrors are black active air fender vents, also adorned with a raised orange Bar and Shield logo. The rear features more biker-approved branding along with black aluminum pipe tips that accent the tuned exhaust. The biggest Harley badge by far is stamped into the color-matched tonneau cover.
The 22-inch aluminum wheels are also inspired by iconic American motorcycle company, with its logo and the words “HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTOR COMPANY” milled into the rims’ faces.
Car and Driver reports that each of the 250 limited-edition trucks get a unique center console with a Harley emblem and a numbered plate, as well as a Fox performance suspension kit that raises the body an additional three inches.
Available in Onyx Black, Summit White or Satin Steel Metallic, the 2020 Harley-Davidson GMC Sierra is priced at $94,995. Contact Tuscany Motor Co. here to get your name on the short list.

Laptops were boring at CES, but there’s hope for the future
CES 2020 was a boring year for laptops — at least, it was a boring year for laptops that will be real products that you can actually buy in 2020. The upgrades were incremental at best, and even the more interesting changes are reliant on unproven technology, like AMD’s new processors and 5G internet.
But despite the fact that the upcoming wave of 2020 laptops so far looks like it’s been upgraded even more incrementally than ever before, all is not lost. Among the minor spec boosts, CES 2020 also offered the first glimmers of what might come next for portable computers, with new screen technologies, wild new designs, and 5G modems. Those trends are important for the future of laptops, but we’re not quite in that future just yet.

Pokémon Sword and Shield’s new expansions are a big deal
Yesterday, Game Freak announced expansion packs for Pokémon Sword and Shield. The first, Isle of Armor, is set to launch this June. The Crown Tundra will follow in the fall. In addition to new rivals, clothing, and areas, the expansion pack will also introduce new co-op, legendaries, and a wider pokédex. For most games, this would be standard news. For Pokémon, it’s almost revolutionary.
Pokémon moves at a glacial pace when it comes to major changes. It’s taken roughly two decades for its traditional RPG experience to land on a console. Before that, it felt revolutionary when the series finally introduced online play or 3D graphics — years after many games had already done so. Sword and Shield, released last year, were the series’s…
