A new trove of documents and interviews with Bush and Obama officials found the American people were systematically misled about the war in Afghanistan, with generals and top diplomats describing a chaotic effort without a clear strategy that was knowingly spun to the public to provide a rosier outlook. What do you…
The dictionary publisher lauded the singular they Tuesday, noting that the tiny word has enjoyed important new uses in an English language that otherwise lacks a good gender-neutral alternative.
If you were following us a couple of years ago, you know that we were talking about naked dresses a lot. Circa 2017, it was rare that a star-studded event would take place without a slew of celebrities in attendance wearing naked dresses. After a brief hiatus from the trend, we may be back at it (although time will tell). The reason? Naked dress stan Kendall Jenner.
Jenner was just in Miami for Art Basel wearing a naked dress that literally made us do a double-take. It’s a camel minidress (a dress needn’t be see-through to be “naked”) by David Koma with crystal straps and a crystal hemline, which she paired with Amina Muaddi naked shoes (also adorned with crystals, naturally). Given that she’s Kendall Jenner, she always looks stunning, but we have to say that she looked particularly stunning in this naked dress 2.0, proving that basically everything is better when embellished with crystals.
Keep scrolling to see it with your own eyes along with some of Jenner’s most epic naked dresses of the past.

Le’Veon Bell said Tuesday that although he wishes he hadn’t been seen bowling in public on Saturday night, he doesn’t “feel bad about what I did,” noting that he bowled a career-high 251 “coming off the flu.”
When we first heard the iconic Scoop brand was coming back, at an affordable price point no less, we immediately saved the date for its September launch at Walmart and then proceeded to buy everything we could get our hands on. So far we’ve been seriously impressed with each collection featuring the perfect balance of everyday wardrobe staples and on-trend statement makers. Oh, and did we mention every piece is under $100?
We’re not the only ones who eagerly await each new drop—so many of our favorite influencers started rocking the collection right away too, from Louise Roe to Janelle Lloyd. We also just spotted Chriselle Lim in Scoop’s newly released holiday collection. Her two outfits are perfect for holiday parties and add up to less than $200 each. Translation: We’re buying both. See and shop Lim’s holiday style below.
Her first look is the perfect day-to-night ensemble that can seamlessly transition from the office to an after-work holiday dinner party without altering anything. Though, if you’re really trying to get festive, we wouldn’t oppose sparkly earrings and a swipe of lipstick come 5 p.m.
The star of the show here is clearly the ultra-soft black coat. Lim lists teddy textures among her favorite trends of the season (honorable mentions include mock-croc accessories and silky fabrics). “While I love a party dress, sometimes a cool pair of silky trousers and a statement top or coat is the perfect holiday look,” she says.
Speaking of party dresses, this one taps into everything we love about getting dressed up for the holidays. It features a festive, metallic detail that makes the piece feel special and is a versatile shape that works for more than one occasion.
Lim also points out that pink is unexpected during the holidays, so this piece will really stand out in a sea of red party dresses. Just don’t forget those strappy gold sandals to tie everything together.
CNN analyst Peter Bergen reflects on Trump’s soured relationships with Generals Mattis, McMaster and Kelly. “He’s gotten rid of the most competent people he had in his circle,” Bergen says.
Marcus gets a clean, unfettered sound from both his band and his instrument on his new album. Trio+ is crisp, tight and varied — with more good melodies than we can dip into.
