3 Fashion-Girl Hairstyles Poised to Be Big in 2020

It seems like every day there’s a new hair color, style, accessory or cut that’s suddenly everywhere—last year it was hair clips and braids, and this year it’s headbands and blunt bobs. Well, since 2019 is nearing its end, I decided to get ahead of the trends for next year and start identifying them now so I have ample time to mull over whether or not I’ll be jumping on them before everyone is wearing them and I feel like I missed the boat.

After checking out hundreds of 2020 runway photos and chatting with experts across the beauty realm, I’ve zeroed in on a few hairstyles that fashion girls everywhere will be wearing in no time. From the bang style that’s poised to take over to the hair accessory here to replace your favorite clips, below are the three hairstyles that will be huge next year.

Braids just got a new best friend—meet the hair rings that will be adorning the heads of cool girls everywhere in 2020. We’re already seeing early adopters like Tracee Ellis Ross leaning into these, and we predict they’re about to blow up.

Tucker Tynan, the goalie of the OHL’s Niagara IceDogs, is in stable condition after being severely slashed in the leg by a skate during Thursday night’s game against the London Knights, the team announced.

According to the IceDogs, Tynan was rushed into surgery and the procedure was a success.

Shortly after the injury, the Ontario Hockey League announced that the remainder of the game had been cancelled.

Ex-NBA commish Stern suffers brain hemorrhage

David Stern, whose 30-year stint as NBA commissioner helped shape the league into a global force, has been hospitalized in New York City after suffering a brain hemorrhage. There was no immediate word on his condition.

Former NBA Commissioner David Stern Suffers Sudden Brain Hemorrhage

NBA Commissioner Emeritus David Stern suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage and underwent emergency surgery.

NBA Commissioner Emeritus David Stern suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage on Thursday and underwent emergency surgery, the NBA said in a statement. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Stern collapsed at the Brasserie 1/2 restaurant in Manhattan and was rushed to the hospital.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with David and his family,” the league said in its statement.

The 77-year-old Stern was the league’s commissioner for a record 30 seasons, overseeing the league through a rapid period of growth.

He joined the NBA as outside counsel in 1966, before working his way up to commissioner, taking over for Larry O’Brien in 1984.

Stern oversaw the Magic Johnson/Larry Bird 1980s, the Michael Jordan 1990s, the Kobe Bryant/LeBron James 2000s and, along the way, was a driving force of the game’s global expansion.

During his tenure, the NBA has added seven franchises, the WNBA and the D-League (now G League).

In 2014, Stern passed the commissioner reins to Adam Silver.
