Hulu’s Black Friday deal offers $2 per month subscription for one year

Photo by Chris Welch / The Verge

Hulu’s Black Friday deal is here, and offering a pretty low price for new subscribers, who can get their first year of service on the streaming site for just $1.99 per month, or $23.88 total. That’s 66 percent off of what Hulu usually costs ($5.99 per month), making it one of the cheapest ways to get Hulu, short of borrowing your friend’s login.

There are, of course, a few catches: the $1.99 price is only for new customers, or former customers who haven’t subscribed to Hulu in the last 12 months (so you can’t say, cancel your current plan and get the discounted price for a year if you already subscribe.) You also can’t combine the deal with any other promotions or free trials — including the popular $12.99 per month…

Victoria Beckham Just Made Her Own Moisturizer With This Skincare Professor

It’s official: I am totally obsessed with Victoria Beckham’s skin. From forgoing my own carefully honed skincare routine for an entire week in favor of switching to VB’s (no hardship, I’m sure you’ll agree) to fine-combing her Instagram for the very best skincare tips direct from the lady herself, there’s no arguing with the fact that I take a Beckham beauty recommendation incredibly seriously.

So when Victoria Beckham Beauty finally landed back in September, I have to confess that I felt a little (okay, a lot) let down with the fact that there was no skincare offering from the brand. Sure, the contents of Victoria’s makeup bag are definitely of interest to me, and it’s no surprise that Beckham launched with smokey eye palettes and nude lip liners that are synonymous with her trademark beauty look, but it’s VB’s skincare that I’ve always been most interested in.

Well, luckily for me, the wait is over with Victoria Beckham’s very first skincare launch dropping today. But what can we expect?

First things first, the product in question has been created in collaboration with the man behind Victoria’s favorite $265 moisturizer, Professor Augustinus Bader. Celebrities and makeup artists swear by his cult product—Augustinus Bader The Cream ($265)—so it makes sense that VB would want to bring someone with industry gravitas and scientific know-how on board for the launch of her first skincare product.

“It was an honor to collaborate with Victoria for her first skin launch,” Professor Bader announced on Instagram. “I’m excited to share some of the skincare benefits in this product. It’s the first product of its kind to care for your skin cells while also preparing your skin for makeup application.”

And Beckham is equally gushing about the collaboration. “It’s been a dream to develop with Augustinus a priming moisturizer that works to improve the health of my skin and gives me that fresh, natural glow that I love,” Beckham explained.

Yes, that’s right—the product in question is a moisturizer called the Victoria Beckham Beauty Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer ($95). Formulated to enhance Victoria’s own glowing skin, the luxury product harnesses Professor Bader’s own skincare technology—made famous by his own moisturizer—to support cell turnover and improve radiance from deep within the skin itself. Basically, if it’s glow that you’re after, then look no further.

For luminous skin to rival Victoria’s, Team VB recommends that you smooth one to two pumps of the Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer over your face and neck each day. Wearing it alone lends a subtle, healthy sheen to the skin, but it’s also been specially formulated to layer beneath makeup and add luminosity—as well as enhancing the overall performance of your other products.

I Wore This Tummy-Control Tank for a Week—and I Finally Get the Hype

Alright, I’ll be the first to admit that my shapewear collection is a bit old and tattered. I haven’t purchased a new pair of Spanx in years. Really, it’s been yearsI still reach for the ones I bought for my senior high school prom, so that’s a good seven years ago—yep, don’t shame. And I’m still in the midst of building a solid collection of shaping bodysuits, underwear, and tank tops for those days and nights when I need a bit of extra support (looking at you, form-fitting bodycon dresses).

I was finally compelled to purchase a particular tummy-control tank top when I came across it during Amazon Prime Day—and this one wasn’t even part of the deal. I was just utterly intrigued by the reviews and the nearly 425 positive comments that praised the tank’s capabilities. “This is the most amazing lingerie product I’ve ever purchased,” wrote one customer. “Life-changing,” shouted another (as expressed by the three exclamation marks used). You can see why I was tempted.

The tummy-control tank in question was Bali’s Lace ‘N Smooth Cami—and let’s just say my life did, in fact, change. The top isn’t like your usual shapewear pieces, in that it’s actually super pretty, thanks to the all-over lace design that’s quite romantic. (Let’s just say I actually feel good wearing it.) It also has softly lined cups for a bit of added support, which means I don’t have to wear my bra either. I haven’t tested out a ton of these tummy-control tanks, but I did notice that the length seemed a bit longer than most, too, so it smoothed out my stomach and hip area and made for super easy tucking, which is great, whether I’m wearing it with my favorite summer jumpsuit or a tee-and-jeans combo.

I am now officially a tummy-control tank devotee—and I’m never turning back. Ahead, see the cami that seriously changed my life, plus 19 others with amazing reviews.

“This is literally the perfect camisole. Smooths without crushing! I wear it with or without a bra, and it’s equally comfortable. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made—I have it in black as well.” — kjberry

“I have bought a few of these tanks in different colors and I love them! I wear them under tops/sweaters when I want to have a more slimming look and feel.” — Theresa21

“Perfect! Good quality. Great color. I wear a convertible EVERY day and really wanted to have more colors other than the typical black, tan, white. This was the perfect find with the perfect amount of support. Looks and feels great under any shirt or blouse adding just a peek of color to coordinate with any outfit!!” — jls

“Great support. I think this will do the job to help smooth out muffin top, but it was not the right one for me, which is a reason for one less star. I was hoping for something I could wear every day, but it is a little too thick and would be too hot for me to wear especially in the summer. I do want control, but I want something more versatile for me for spring and summer months. I did buy a small and a medium and noticed that the medium is a lot longer, about four inches in length.” — LuvstoshopatNordstroms

“Definitely plenty of support! The cami is quite long, I am 5’6″, and it covers my hips. It does not roll up on me. It is tight enough that it was difficult to get on by pulling it over my head, and there was no way I was going to get it back off going over my head. I thought I might have it on for life. But I managed to get it off by pulling it down over my legs. It went on much much easier by pulling it on by stepping into it and pulling it up. Quality is nice.” — Cheryl Schow

“This is a great shaping tank. It did everything that I expected as I was just looking for a smoother and not anything too tight. I like to wear these most days.” — Chrissiejn

“Lightweight and comfortable. Stays put.” — bjrudq

“Love it, a must-have for a new breastfeeding mom!!!” — Mrseed

“I love this tank top! I normally wear a size small and I ordered a size small! It fits perfectly. The fabric is very durable and easy to clean too! I normally match it with a pair of cute shorts for mountain biking, and it’s very easy to clean after a long muddy ride. The fabric is stretchy but not too restrictive either, so I wear it to the gym often too. I get lots of compliments each time I wear it.” — Daisy

“Excellent product! Slimming, comfortable and flattering.” — Grace1964

“Really comfortable. Great underneath sheer shirts.” — Jill F.

“The tank top fits well and looks amazing. It’s also slimming. Perfect buy.” — adrianna

“I was looking for a white form-fitting tank top that I can wear with anything and anytime. WOW! I was very impressed with this shirt. I normally wear a size small, so I ordered a size small, and it fits perfect. I can see myself ordering more of these too.” — Daisy

“This is the best compression tank. The arm holes don’t dig or scratch. It’s comfortable and wearable all day. Other’s I’ve tried made me feel like I’m being tortured. This is so much better. The three bands are perfect. I am so happy I found this on Amazon. My last one is in tatters from wearing it constantly for several years.” — Spuggers

“Very happy with this camisole! The fit was as expected, and gives a little bit of shaping, but not so much that it feels uncomfortable all day. I like the higher neckline, which is hard to find.” — pamela

“Was looking for a tank that was light wear but with a little give without stretching out and found this. It’s exactly what I was looking for.” — Shane Yurkus

“This is the most comfortable slimming bodysuit. Not too constrictive yet shapes nicely. Keep in mind that if you are looking for a firm/very tight fit, this might not be the one for you.” — Btowngirl

“This cami fits beautifully and has a nice appearance, more lovely than the average skinny strap style. It’s pretty under blouses where you can see the sheer top.” — DD in Annapolis

“Great price, fits great, slims great. If you tuck into your pants, it won’t ride up. I have tried many slimming camis, and this is my new favorite for now. The only downside is you still need a bra since the fabric is thin and sheer.” — beck

Fantasy Football: Amari Cooper Injury Impact

The fantasy football impact of Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper’s injury in Week 13 of the 2019 NFL season.

Amari Cooper has been playing hurt for most of the season, but he may have suffered a more serious injury on Thursday night in the Cowboys’ 26-15 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Cooper was injured midway through the fourth quarter after taking a helmet to the knee from Buffalo DB Taron Johnson. He finished the game with eight catches for 85 yards and will get an x-ray on his knee Friday to learn the extent of the damage.

Fantasy owners can ill afford to lose one of their top scoring threats this time of year. So what happens if Cooper misses extended time? What should Cooper owners do? How about non-Cooper owners?

The next man up in Dallas’ receiving corps is Michael Gallup. He’s owned in the vast majority of leagues, so you likely won’t be able to add him. However, his stock doesn’t get an immediate major boost. With tough matchups against the Bears and Kyle Fuller, plus the Rams and Jalen Ramsey on tap, any value gained by becoming the No. 1 option is negated by the better defenders he’ll have to face. He’ll continue to be a WR2.

Randall Cobb has been a trendy pickup in recent weeks, but is still available in the majority of leagues. He’ll likely see a boost in production or at least a return to the 7-to-8 targets per game that he was getting before the Buffalo game. Cobb was averaging 7.5 targets and five catches per game in Dallas’ four post-bye games before getting just three targets against the Bills on Thanksgiving. His 3/53/0 game would be his floor with Cooper out. He’d be somewhere in the WR3 range.

Tight end Jason Witten would get a small boost as well. He caught his first touchdown since Week 2 on Thanksgiving and could be looked to a little more often as a check-down option.

There are no other real fantasy options on the Cowboys’ roster. Tavon Austin had five targets on Thursday but has never been a reliable fantasy option. He only has two games this season with more than one target. The odds you’d feel confident starting him during the fantasy playoffs are extremely slim. The same can be said for Devin Smith, who could find himself on the active game day roster for the first time since Week 4. He showed promise earlier this season in back-to-back games against the Redskins and Dolphins, but has only been active for one game since. Ventell Bryant caught a 15-yard touchdown against the Bills, but that was his first catch and target of the season.

Let’s hope Cooper’s injury isn’t serious and fantasy managers don’t have to scramble to replace him. If he is injured, Gallup stays put, Cobb moves up and Witten gets a slight boost in their rankings. Otherwise, be sure to check out our Monday and Tuesday waiver wire articles for other replacement options.

Ole Miss falls after WR’s urinating dog celebration

Luke Logan missed a 35-yard extra point after Ole Miss receiver Elijah Moore was penalized for celebrating a touchdown by crawling and pretending to urinate like a dog, and Mississippi State ended up with a 21-20 victory Thursday in the 116th Egg Bowl.
