Gwyneth Paltrow Just Made Long, Baggy Shorts Look Elegant

Gwyneth Paltrow is no stranger to experimenting with trends, from velvet suits to sweat suits. Sure, she typically likes to keep it classic and sophisticated on the red carpet, but when she’s attending more casual events, she lets likes to let loose—but in her signature way.

Photographed at Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Los Angeles, Paltrow tried the trend that was all over the runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week: long, baggy shorts. In fact, when I interviewed Ganni Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup, she told me that long shorts were the spring 2020 trend she’s most excited to try. Paltrow made them look polished by choosing trouser-style shorts and pairing them with an office-appropriate blouse. To add a designer spin, she also wore Dior logo-printed high-top sneakers. Scroll down to see how Paltrow wore the long-shorts trend, and shop it for yourself.

On Friday, Microsoft disclosed that it had found evidence that a group of hackers originating from Iran attempted to access email accounts belonging to a 2020 presidential candidate.

In its blog post announcing the discovery, Microsoft declines to name the targeted presidential candidate, but affirms that their account was not compromised by the threat group the company refers to as Phosphorous.

The campaign was only one out of a group of accounts the Iranian hackers attempted to compromise within a 30-day period between August and September of this year. Microsoft says that its threat intelligence center observed the group making over 2,700 attempts to identify email accounts and then go on to “attack” 241 of them.

It’s that time of the year when we can indulge in a live stream of bears stuffing their faces and then vote for our favorite glutton from the safety of our desks and couches. Fat Bear Week is here!

This is the fifth anniversary of Katmai National Park’s popular March Madness-style competition. There are two brackets each day during the week that pit one big bear against another. The chunkiest champion will be crowned during the culmination of the tournament on Fat Bear Tuesday, October 8th — and this year, there will be a twist. Voters will choose which bears they think are fattest based on pictures and bear cam footage. But for the first time, thanks to 3D scans of the bears, Katmai will also be able to announce which bear is actually…

Monster Hunter World is getting a truly bizarre Resident Evil crossover

Back in September, Monster Hunter World received its first — and only — major expansion in the form of the frigid Iceborne. But that doesn’t mean the game isn’t still getting updates. In fact, in November, World will receive arguably its strangest new content to date with a crossover featuring the undead world of Resident Evil.

The trailer for the crossover starts out normal enough, introducing Resident Evil mainstays Leon and Claire as playable characters. But then things get strange. There are now zombified hunters and monsters in World, along with a space that looks like a winter cabin mixed with a Resident Evil mansion. There’s even a “Thriller”-style zombie dance. The trailer ends with none other than Resident Evil 2’s notorious…
