This Brand’s Dresses and Tops Will Make You Look So Very French This Fall

I’m signed up for pretty much every cool brand’s newsletter, but few get me as excited as when one from Dôen pops up in my inbox announcing a new collection has dropped. Luckily for all of us, the brand released the first chapter of its fall collection this week, and you should probably jump on it quickly, as items are flying out of stock. Dôen’s dreamy campaigns are always shot in stunning locales, and trust me when I tell you that the clothes look as amazing IRL as they do on the models. For the fall collection this year, Dôen embarked on one of the most picturesque lands in the world: France (specifically, Château de Gudanes in Southern France).

The campaign features longtime Dôen model and muse Alex Noiret (who is French American), and the collection is infused with that effortless French-girl aesthetic that stylish women around the world love to emulate. There are plenty of easy, versatile dresses; pouf-sleeve tops that look incredible with denim; beautifully knitted cozy sweaters; and more. Model and quintessential Parisian girl Louise Follain is already wearing one of the pieces from the collection, which is proof that it’s going to be a hit among French women (and everyone else). Keep scrolling to shop some of the must-have pieces from the collection or, at the very least, revel in the beauty of the campaign.

Kate Moss Just Broke This Swimsuit “Rule” in Saint-Tropez

Leave it to a veteran supermodel to make a trip to the beach look like a photo shoot. Now three decades into her career, Kate Moss looked every bit the model on vacation in Saint-Tropez. While swimming with friends, she wore the swimsuit version of the LBD, and it’s quite possibly the most timeless choice out there. However, Moss wore her black bandeau bikini with something not everyone would be willing to wear in the ocean: lots of jewelry.

A pretty gold necklace and multiple bracelets and rings completed her swimsuit look, turning it into a bona fide fashion moment. Some people think wearing jewelry to the beach is a faux pas, not least because saltwater can damage rose gold and other materials. Plus, there’s always the risk of losing your precious jewels in the ocean, but celebs like Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski don’t seem to mind and are both fans of wearing jewelry to the beach. Scroll down to see Kate Moss’s bikini look, and shop pieces similar to the ones she’s wearing.

Gibson Launches Limited-Edition Chris Cornell Tribute Guitar

Gibson is honoring the hard-rocking legacy of Chris Cornell with a tribute edition of the late grunge god’s favorite guitar.

The Gibson Chris Cornell ES-335 was officially unveiled earlier this at the five-hour “I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell” event in Los Angeles earlier this year, during which members of all-star acts including Metallica, Foo Fighters and Audioslave covered songs from Cornell’s genre-transcending discography.

The instrument boasts a three-ply maple/poplar/maple body finished in olive drab green satin paint, a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, and a mahogany neck.

Distinct features like aged Lollartron humbucking pickups, clear “no number” top hat knobs, and Cornell’s signature mother-of-pearl peghead inlay “make this one of Gibson’s rarest artist offerings to date,” the company said.

“Chris Cornell was not only one of the most iconic singer songwriters of all time, he was a modern innovator who left a legacy that transcends music genres and generations,” said Gibson executive Cesar Gueikian.

“Chris fell in love with this guitar and it became a part of his creative expression. It’s our honor to release this tribute ES-335 in his memory.”

Pre-sale for the Gibson Chris Cornell ES-335 began on August 27 ahead of its global release on September 3. Visit Gibson’s website for more details.
