Video Shows Conor McGregor Punching Old Guy At Irish Bar Over Apparent Whiskey Snub

New video has surfaced that appears to show Conor McGregor punching an older man after an apparent dispute over whiskey shots at a Dublin bar.

TMZ first obtained the below video footage, which shows the UFC fighter doling our pours of what appears to be Proper No. Twelve—the popular Irish whiskey brand he launched last year.

One of the men seated at the bar turns down the drink, and McGregor responds by tauntingly pumping his fist in the air. When the same man looks away, McGregor strikes him in the head with a left jab.

Two other patrons immediately pull McGregor out of the frame as the bartender stands in shock with her hands covering her face.

According to ESPN, this is believed to be the same incident that the Irish Mirror covered back in April. No charges were reportedly filed against McGregor, and authorities haven’t released any new updates on the investigation.

It’s just the latest example of McGregor’s history of violence outside of the Octagon.

Earlier this year, he was arrested in Miami and charged with strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief after smashing a fan’s cell phone. The charges were later dropped and the matter was settled in a civil suit.

Then there’s McGregor’s infamous—or should we say, “notorious”—bus incident, in which he launched a dolly through a bus window at a UFC media event in 2018, injuring two fighters in the process.

McGregor cut a deal to avoid jail time, but was slapped with court-ordered community service and anger management classes. In light of this new video, he might consider taking a few more.

As for his UFC career, McGregor hasn’t fought since he was handily submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in October of last year.

Rival Nate Diaz, whom McGregor is 1-1 against in the Octagon, is slated to fight Anthony Pettis in the co-main event at UFC 241 this Saturday, August 17.

The card also features heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier vs. former champ Stipe Miocic in the main event, Yoel Romero vs. Paulo Costa, Gabriel Benitez vs. Sodiq Yusuff, and Derek Brunson vs. Ian Heinisch.

Warning: This essay contains major spoilers for season 1 of The Boys.

In the first season of Amazon’s comics adaptation The Boys, anti-superhero vigilante Billy Butcher (Karl Urban of the Star Trek reboot movies and Thor: Ragnarok) comes to Susan Raynor, the deputy director of the CIA, with evidence of a massive corporate conspiracy, and a list of demands in exchange for the information. She’s willing to grant him and his team exorbitant salaries, security clearance, offices, and indemnity, but she refuses to help him in his vendetta against Homelander (Antony Starr), the world’s most powerful superhero.

“It’s suicide,” she tells Billy. “Not for you, for thousands of people if you push him too hard. I’m terrified, and you should be too.”

How to change your PlayStation Network username

James Bareham, The Verge

It wasn’t always easy to change your PlayStation Network (PSN) account name. Actually, it wasn’t until April 2019 that Sony allowed account holders to do it at all. Now, each account is allowed to change their username once for free. Any changes after that come at a cost: $4.99 if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, or $9.99 for everyone else.

Whether you’ve outgrown your username or you simply want to change it, we’re going to walk you through the process. However, there are a couple of warnings to run through first.

If you mostly play newer games (specifically, games released after April 1st, 2018), Sony says that you shouldn’t encounter many, if any, issues with the username change since those games were developed to support this…
