Selena Gomez Is Here to Sell You on Summer’s Most Controversial Denim Trend
You’ve probably come across this summer’s controversial denim trend invading your Instagram feed, and maybe you’ve even seen it on your most stylish friend (it’s literally everywhere), but now that we’ve spotted Selena Gomez testing it out, we can officially add celebrity-approved to the list of reasons it’s a keeper. The trend I’m talking about is denim Bermuda shorts, and before summer even began, we predicted they’d put an end to short shorts (not to be biased, but I think we were right). With all the stylish women out there wearing these and the cool brands selling them, it was only a matter of time until celebs took note.
But if you’re still skeptical about the rise of denim Bermuda shorts, let Selena Gomez’s outfit convince you on them once and for all. While on vacation in Italy, Gomez tested out the trend by wearing it alongside classic summer items like block-heel sandals and a Staud bucket bag, both of which make the shorts feel a touch more timeless and true to her personal style. Scroll down to her outfit and since I know it will sell you on the shorts trend. I also included my favorite pairs for you to shop below.

‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ Trailer Has Marijuana, Monster Trucks, and More Survivors
There are plenty of sequels to go around these days, but no one said that was a bad thing—especially when we’re talking Zombieland: Double Tap, the sequel to 2009’s cult hit, Zombieland.
The four actors at the center of the first movie—Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone—are back and still kicking zombie ass, obviously. They’re kicking it right up to the abandoned and overgrown White House, where Woody’s character gets the chance to kick back in the Oval Office and say, “You’re welcome, America.”

Here’s what else you’ll find in the trailer above: weed, monster trucks, Luke Wilson, and Woody in an Elvis costume.
As to what the hell is going on, here’s the synopsis:
In the sequel, written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and Dave Callaham, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, these four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors.
But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.
Those new survivors include Rosario Dawson, too, in case you needed another reason to anticipate this sequel.
Get your second dose of the funniest imaginary post-Apocalypse universe imaginable when Zombieland: Double Tap hits theaters on October 18.
Of All the Shoes Out There, These Are the Only 7 I’d Wear With Jeans
We all know how versatile a pair of jeans can be. After all, what other garment can take you from work (some offices, at least) to the weekend to nights out with the same stylish flair and universal appeal?
However, their ease is often dependent on another item: footwear. Shoes have the power to instantly change the mood of your jeans. For example, for a cocktail party, a pair of bejeweled heels will elevate your classic blues to glamorous new heights. Similarly, ballet pumps will add polish to ripped or frayed-hem jeans—simply add a tailored blazer and a button-up blouse and you’ve got yourself a chic workwear ensemble.
So which shoes would I recommend wearing with jeans? I’m glad you asked. I’ve whittled down the shoes to wear with jeans that I truly believe work for just about every occasion you can think of.
Keep scrolling to see seven shoes-and-jeans combinations validated by the style elite, and then proceed to shop the outfits for yourself.
Style Notes: They’re one of the summer’s biggest shoe trends, and thankfully, strappy mules look excellent worn with jeans. Their simple silhouette makes for a premium footwear choice and will help to make even bleached denim look luxe.
Style Notes: Printed boots—particularly snake motifs—are set to be huge come autumn. However, even we know they’re not the most versatile thing to style. A pair of classic jeans will make for an ideal partner for “extra” footwear choices.
Style Notes: Ballet flats are firmly back on our fashion radar. Typically low cut on the foot, they work with just about any jean length, though we think they look really French when worn with cropped ankle-grazing jeans.
Style Notes: Where there are jeans, sneakers can’t be too far off. While all kick-flare styles will do the off-duty trick, take the minimalist approach with a pair of sleek tennis shoes.
Style Notes: Where relaxed-fit jeans are concerned, take inspiration from cool Cali girls and wear them with a pair of color-pop Havaiana flip flops. A printed tee and statement sunglasses will finish the look.
Style Notes: There’s no denying the fact we love a good dress, but for an edgy twist on after-dark dressing, we recommend wearing a pair of straight-leg jeans with the fanciest heels you can find.
Style Notes: Espadrilles look just as good with jeans as they do with printed midi skirts. Wide-leg styles work particularly well, as they balance out the chunky wedge heels.

Apple iPhone 11 Features And New Look Leaked By Insider Report

The all-new features of Apple’s three upcoming iPhone 11 models have apparently been revealed in a new leak of the next-gen smartphone.
A report by 9to5Mac’s Guilherme Rambo—whom Forbes’ tech senior tech contributor calls a “supremely reliable insider”—details key details of the tech giant’s iPhone 11.

Per 9to5Mac:
The ‘iPhone 11’ models are known as D42 (iPhone12,3) which will replace the iPhone XS; D43 (iPhone12,5) which will replace the iPhone XS Max; and N104 (iPhone12,1) which will replace the iPhone XR. D42 and D43 will have a 3x OLED Retina display, while N104 will still feature the 2x Liquid Retina display just like the current generation.
All three iPhones will feature the same screen resolution as their predecessors.
Rambo also mentioned some new hardware, namely an A13 chipset that will power a “Smart Frame” camera, which “records outside the cameras’ standard framing so misaligned shots can be saved through re-cropping afterwards,” according to Forbes.
The speculated switch from Apple’s Lightning port to a new USB-C port that we previously reported is apparently not happening, and those three “ugly” rear cameras—one of which is iPhone’s first wide-angle lens—are said to be part of the final design.
We also have the best idea yet of what the iPhone 11 will look like. A separate article from tech outlet BGR claims that the most accurate renderings of the device are shown in the video above.
Per BGR,
Following all these renders and dummies that make the same mistakes over and over again, someone finally created a video that shows off Apple’s actual iPhone 11 design perfectly.
These new renders were created by a graphic designer who calls himself “Prospection” and they’re showcased in a video posted on the YouTube channel ConceptsiPhone.
We’ll see if this all holds up when the iPhone 11 is expected to be revealed at an “Apple Special Event” in September.
