Watch out, Kylie Jenner. Rihanna is poised to become the next celebrity beauty-biz billionaire.
While the Barbados-born pop superstar has yet to earn her first billion like Jenner — the youngest to ever do it — or Jay-Z, the world’s first billionaire rapper, Rihanna is now the richest female musician in the world. Which really isn’t too shabby.
According to Forbes, the 31-year-old RiRi is now the wealthiest female pop star on the planet, with a fortune totaling $600 million.
But as Page Six Style reports, while Rihanna’s Grammy-winning music career has helped grow her astronomical wealth, it’s nothing compared to what her body-positive fashion brand Fenty is raking in.
Rihanna is estimated to own 15% of her famously inclusive Fenty Beauty brand, which has reportedly raked in $570 million in sales since its launch in September 2017.
To put that in context, second-richest female musician Madonna‘s fortune totals the same amount.
Rihanna also makes money from her Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which she recently modeled for on Instagram, and a luxury label with LVMH called Fenty.
“Work, work, work, work, work,” indeed.
I’d like to personally invite you to embrace post-pedicure style. We should be encouraged by the spring runways that warned us flip-flops were due for a serious moment, essentially giving us permission to start dressing as though we’ve just returned from the hotel spa (or local nail salon) with a book under our arm and dismissive out of office auto-reply turned on.
In fact, consider this an intro to OOOutfits [hold for applause], dedicated to those among us who are committed to dressing for S/S 19 as though we’re perpetually on vacation. The four summer outfits below are essentially the contents of my carry-on, as worn shamelessly around New York whilst daring anyone to comment. PS, if you think there’s a single summer trend that doesn’t work with a pair of Havaianas, you’d be wrong. Incontrovertible evidence below.
Airstream just unveiled two new trailers with retro style and modern amenities that are sure to fuel your road-tripping fantasies.
Technically, the “Bambi” and “Caravel” coaches are revamps of the “most adored historic single-axle models” that the brand introduced over 50 years ago.
Unlike modern single-axle Airstreams like the fiber glass-bodied Nest, these have the “silver bullet” aluminum shell that camper fans will recognize instantly. Panoramic windows with optional matching awnings, stainless steel rockers, and storage spaces offer plenty of campsite-worthy utility.
Those retro exteriors give way stunning modern interiors. The Caravel’s blends bright whites, warm woods and black accents, and the Bambi’s gets bright neutral tones that enhance natural light.
Both models are available in 16, 19, 20, and 22-foot floor plans with different configurations of sleeping spaces, dinettes, kitchenettes and restrooms.
Even their monikers are tied into Airstream history. “Caravel” is a nod to company founder Wally Byam’s love of the sea, while “Bambi” references the unofficial nickname given to Byam’s trailer while he was traveling across Africa on a 6,300-mile journey from Cape Town to Cairo.
The Airstream Bambi and Caravel, priced at $48,900 and $60,900, respectively, are available at dealerships nationwide right now.
HBO‘s Chernobyl, which aired its finale Monday night, was a limited-run series about a real historical event. The kind of thing that could have been merely interesting, at worst boring and dry.
Instead it was a blockbuster success for the pay cable giant, considered by viewers and critics one of the finest shows of its kind.
Social media critiques were uniformly positive, but that wasn’t the only evidence of Chernobyl‘s quality.
Forbes culled audience ratings for the portrayal of the Ukraine nuclear disaster that killed thousands and left an entire region uninhabitable and Chernobyl‘s superiority is right there in the numbers:
That means that however many viewers the show has had—and Chernobyl hasn’t had Game of Thrones audience numbers—almost all of them consider it a masterpiece.
Chernobyl was a miniseries so perhaps a different animal from the likes of Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad, but it seems clear it was considered their equal if not superior.
Just a few tweets give plenty of anecdotal evidence as to audience response.
You can watch Chernobyl for yourself if you missed out here.

Two top-ranked lightweight fighters will clash when Khabib Nurmagomedov defends his title against Dustin Poirier at UFC 242 on Saturday, September 7 in Abu Dhabi.
UFC President Dana White made the announcement Tuesday on ESPN’s SportsCenter while the official UFC Twitter account simultaneously posted a promotion.
Poirier (25-1) added a sixth consecutive win to his record after he defeated Max Holloway via unanimous decision for the interim lightweight title at UFC 236 in April.
“It’s gonna be a scrap but I’m gonna make him make mistakes and we’ll see what happens,” Poirier recently predicted about a fight with Nurmagomedov, reports MMA Mania.
“If he slows down, it’s gonna go downhill for him. I think with my overall game, I can cause threats and problems for him early on as well. I don’t need him to gas out to win this fight.”
“Against all odds, I’ll get it done, man. It’s the story of my life.”
Nurmagomedov (27-0) hasn’t competed since last October’s UFC 229, when he submitted Conor McGregor to become the reigning lightweight champion. The ensuing post-fight fracas earned both suspensions from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Before UFC 242’s main event was made official, Nurmagomedov’s head coach, Javier Mendez, revealed that the undefeated Dagestani fighter was about to start training.
”Excited to start camp with Khabib Nurmagomedov for Sept 7th UFC Abu Dhabi against a very tough challenge in Dustin Poirier,” Mendez wrote on Instagram.
This obviously means that the Nurmagomedov-McGregor rematch isn’t happening any time soon. In fact, it’s unclear who the Irish fighter will get in the Octagon with next.
A trilogy fight with Nate Diaz is out of the question, at least if the Stockton-bred brawler’s recent comments are to be believed.
“I’m not interested in it at all,” Diaz told ESPN’s Ariel Helwani on Monday. “I’m interested in winners. He lost his last fight, and I won my last fight.”
“You think I’m trying to fight someone who just got his ass beat all over the place? I’m a black belt in jiu-jitsu. That shit wouldn’t happen to me.”
Or perhaps McGregor will give boxing another try. He entertained the notion on Twitter just days ago.
“I challenge Juan Manuel Mayweather to a rematch. Under the tutelage of my old club. We’ll see then mate.”
Who knows with this guy? As for Nurmagomedov vs. Poirier, may the better man win.
