These Awesome Custom NERF Blasters Look Like Modern Assault Rifles

It’s illegal for a civilian to own or purchase an automatic weapon in the United States. But you can definitely get a Nerf blaster that looks like an automatic weapon thanks to JL Customs Creations.

The Singapore-based seller transforms the cheap toy dart guns into John Wick-worthy shooters modeled after some of the world’s most famous modern assault rifles and SMGs, including the CZ Scorpion, FN SCAR, and AR-style M4 carbine.

The modifications are so accurate that it’s hard to tell them apart from the real thing without looking at the orange tip that caps each barrel.

In addition to those military-style guns, the company also makes a model in the style of a repeating Winchester rifle, as well as a few fantastical creations like the “Lawbringer” launcher and “Hammer Blaster” pistol.

The Nerf toys get more than just a makeover. Hi Consumption reports that each are fitted with upgraded power sources and motors that massively improve performance.

If you can think of a better way to wage some office warfare, we’re all ears. Head to Etsy to browse through JL Customs Creations current inventory, which ranges in price from $150-$365.

‘Game of Thrones’ Episode 4 Sneak Peek: Westeros Goes to War for the Iron Throne

The Night King is dead, so there’s that. But Game of Thrones is not done, not by a long shot. In episode 4 of the show’s final season, war is still in the offing and this time it’s Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) who is in the crosshairs—and the Iron Throne is on the line.

HBO released images from episode 4 on Wednesday and they show that those who survived the Battle of Winterfell in episode 3—”The Long Night”—didn’t get out unscathed. There are also plenty of the dead to mourn.

But the hero of Winterfell, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), is looking kind of shell-shocked even though she appears to have only suffered a black eye for her trouble.

In the episode 4 preview Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), even if she is mourning the lost Dothraki, has set her sights on going up against the Golden Company of Braavos and Cersei.

However much she may be in mourning, the image of her with one of her dragons shows someone who is still willing to fight.

But is Jon Snow (Kit Harington) worn out by now?

He’s obviously part of the throng mourning those who lost their lives against the White Walkers: many Northerners and Unsullied, as well.

After the much-touted battle in the previous episode, fans must be wondering how Thrones will top itself. For one thing, the final installments need to be more well-lit. For another, plot threads need to be tied into a bow.

Is Cersei leaving the Throne by force, in the end? Will the war-weary Northern forces be able to stand against the forces loyal to her?

Episode 4 is set to be an hour and 18 minutes long. We’ll have a much better idea of how things work out when it airs Sunday night on HBO at 9 p.m. ET.

Detective Pikachu’s characters are joining Google’s augmented reality lineup

Google is adding four new Playmoji to its augmented reality Playground service based on characters from the upcoming Detective Pikachu. Starting today, you’ll be able to download and take photos with Charizard, Jigglypuff, Mr. Mime, and Detective Pikachu from within the Playground section of the camera app on Google Pixel phones.

The search giant rebranded its ARCore-powered AR Stickers as Playmoji during last year’s Google Pixel 3 event. Initially, the characters were only available with the latest generation of Google’s phones, but in December, Google expanded their availability to the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL. Along with Pixel devices, Google says the new Playmoji are also available on select LG and Motorola phones.
