Sex toy creator finally gets the CES award she was denied

The group behind the Consumer Electronics Show is returning an award it revoked from a women’s sex toy company earlier this year, which ignited a controversy around the industry’s inclusion of women and acceptance of sex tech. But for now, the show’s operator isn’t announcing broader changes that would actually allow sex toys to be exhibited and win awards in the future.

A CES Innovation Award was initially presented to Lora DiCarlo for its Osé Robotic Massager ahead of the conference in January, honoring the device in the show’s robotics and drones category. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Reveal the Adorable Baby Name They Chose

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have just introduced the world to their newborn son, who was born on Monday this week. Shortly after their photo-call, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed their baby’s adorable name: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. How cute is that?

The royal couple has decided to keep their birth as private as possible and decided to avoid doing a press moment on the steps of the Lindo Wing like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have with their three children. Rather than introducing the world to their baby in front of crowds of royal fans and the world’s media, the Sussexes met with members of the press at a photo-call after “celebrating privately as a new family.”

Warner Bros. trolls Detective Pikachu fans with a fake YouTube leak of the whole movie

Warner Bros. knows that people are anxiously awaiting Detective Pikachu, so the studio hit Pokémon fans with a trollish treat. A complete version of the film is available to watch on YouTube now, but while it’s labeled like an illegal rip of the movie — or the innumerable scams that try to lure naïve users by promising offsite illegal rips of movies — it’s not exactly the Detective Pikachu fans were expecting.

This version of Detective Pikachu is a surprising, jovial, and ridiculous jaunt. It’s less Detective Pikachu and more Dancing Queen Pikachu. Star Ryan Reynolds doesn’t have a noticeable role in this 100-minute film, although his name does appear in the corner of the screen, making the film appear like a leaked personal screener….
