Gwendoline Christie Reigns Supreme at the Game of Thrones Season Finale Premiere

Spring is here, but winter is (finally) coming!

Last night the cast of Game of Thrones walked the red carpet in New York City for the last time to celebrate the series finale of one of the most epic television series in this millennium. While the iron throne itself is still up for grabs (we’re hoping for a Stark sister diarchy), when it comes to style statements, there was one clear winner: Gwendoline Christie, otherwise known as the formidable Brienne of Tarth.

Dressed in a flowing gown from Iris van Herpen’s spring 2019 couture collection, the towering beauty epitomized the series’ anthemic prophecy, “A Song of Ice and Fire.” Which is to say, if you weren’t already rooting for this Iron Maiden, we have a feeling she just advanced a few places on Hollywood’s list of style stars.

Can’t wait for the official season eight premiere on April 14? Don’t miss Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and more of your favorite Game of Thrones stars below.

The 3.3-inch Android handset was marketed as an alternative to your main phone that you could grab on the weekends. Now, Verizon is also selling it as a standalone device. It’s currently on sale through April for just $199, which is a hearty discount from the original $350 price tag.

If you read and watched our review of the Palm phone, you’ll know that we have mixed feelings about this thing. As an idea, it’s great! Who doesn’t want a stripped-down smartphone that isn’t a constant distraction? But the execution was a letdown. It has a terrible battery life, a mediocre camera, and a…

Microsoft’s Windows 10 May 2019 Update puts you back in control of updates

Microsoft is planning to start rolling out its Windows 10 May 2019 Update next week to testers before it’s more broadly available in late May. The new update is the next major version of Windows 10, codenamed “19H1,” and it’s a relatively light update in terms of features. Microsoft’s big visual change is a new light theme for Windows 10, alongside Kaomoji support, a Windows sandbox feature, and the separation of Cortana and Windows search.

The May 2019 Update will also allow Windows 10 users to take control of how they get feature updates. Microsoft has been aggressively pushing these updates to machines once they’re ready, ensuring that consumers are on the very latest version of the operating system. That’s about to change: the May…
