Rihanna Has Herself a New Under-$500 It Bag

There are people who prefer to wear whatever outfit everyone else is wearing right now, and then there’s Rihanna. Last night, RiRi was photographed leaving her Fenty Beauty launch event in London wearing a full-on yellow outfit (a color that couldn’t possibly be more on trend right now). And by full-on, we mean sunglasses, dress, shoes, and bag. Speaking of the bag, are you familiar with the new brand Medea? If not, you’re about to be because Rihanna clearly approves.

The Milan-based brand’s shopping bag–inspired totes started trending on Instagram last summer, and they’ve now reached full-on It-bag status. One of the best things about the minimalist totes is that they have quite a reasonable price point for an It bag. While some sizes and finishes are over $500, Rihanna’s particular mini version comes in under. Thanks to her approval, we fully expect the bags to start selling out any day now, especially as warmer weather approaches. They’re the perfect alternative to beach straw totes this time of year.

Everyone knows some companies are better to work for than others. LinkedIn’s 4th annual Top Companies list reveals just how true that is, with a ranking of the most sought-after companies.

LinkedIn analyzed data based on four criteria for the roundup: interest in the company, engagement with the company’s employees, job demand, and employee retention.

The number one spot for this year was awarded to Alphabet, followed by Facebook, with Amazon in third place, Salesforce in fourth, and Deloitte rounding out the top five.

3 Outfits I’m Stealing From My Chic Co-Worker

During a recent visit to NYC, I was chatting with my friend, co-worker, and fellow fashion editor Lauren Eggertsen about how thrilled I am that it’s finally spring. After politely listening to me go on and on, she turns to roll her eyes at me—not exactly an unfair response, given that I currently live in almost-always-sunny L.A. “You don’t even understand,” she said. “I can finally walk around in a T-shirt and jeans without crying.” Touché.

I got to thinking about what other essentials she’s excited about for the season, as she’s the person whose outfits I shamelessly copy the most, and she tells me she’s been eyeing basically everything from Cuyana. I immediately become as big a fan of the brand’s gorgeous and timeless leather handbags as I do its “fewer, better things” motto, but Lauren tells me I really need to check out the classic layering pieces too.

I’m no fool, so I do what she says and hit up the designer’s SoHo store—which I discover does live monogramming, by the way—and then immediately plan to re-create Lauren’s three super-chic spring outfits.

A really awesome everyday bag must be: The kind you can wear with anything, day or night, without giving it a second thought.

The spring trend I’m overly geeking out about is: Tie-dye.

The one It accessory everyone should own right now is: Floss heels. They’re the new naked shoes, in my opinion.

Since moving to NYC, the piece that’s been a lifesaver is: An anorak. It keeps me looking cute while braving the ever-changing weather.
