SEGA’s Genesis Mini Drops This Fall With 40 Retro Gaming Titles
Sega is all in with its commitment to retro gaming with the introduction of the Sega Genesis Mini, which will be available in Fall 2019. It may not be an intentional answer to Nintendo and Sony bringing back the NES and PlayStation Classic, but who knows?
It’ll have 40 built in games—titles that will definitely warm the heart of nostalgic game lovers everywhere.
You’ll be able to play classics like Sonic the Hedgehog and Castlevania: Bloodlines right out of the box in addition to lesser-known titles like Ecco the Dolphin and Comix Zone.
Of the 40 game titles that will be available, about half will be revealed later this year.
A pair of wired 3-button controls come with the unit in addition to a USB power adapter, power cable, and HDMI cable.
The Sega Genesis Mini will be ready for pre-order soon and will be released September 19, 2019 for $79.99.
