Watch Offset and Gucci Mane Rob a Bank in Mobster Movie-Inspired ‘Quarter Milli’ Video
Offset and Gucci Mane stylishly stick up a Chicago bank in the mobster-inspired music video for “Quarter Milli.”
Also starring Metro Boomin’ and Southside, the rappers are decked out in dapper three-piece suits and fedoras that recall the fashion sense of old-timey gangsters.
Though the track’s lyrics reference .38 caliber cartridges and Glocks, the “Bando Brothers” crew wield more era-appropriate Tommy guns, derringers and revolvers as they storm the vault before making their escape in a period car.
“Quarter Milli” appears on Father of 4, Offset’s first solo album outside of Migos.
Rolling Stone has further details on the new release’s “deeply introspective” content:
Raw and personal, the record is about a broken man from a broken family, struggling to avoid condemning his children and wife to a similar fate. As far as reckoning with your mistakes go, Offset is trying to do it here.
The scope of Father of 4 is small, and the album is at its most effective when the focus is on Offset, alone, sifting through his regrets. Narratively and stylistically, Offset is a man of speed. His raps are filled with cascades of syllables and triplets that are rarely given more than a few seconds to develop. Death, lean addiction and abandonment issues fill every crevice of this album
That all sounds good, but Offset’s new video might have been even better with an appearance by his on-and-off partner in crime, Cardi B. Just putting it out there.
Pamela Adlon: ‘Better Things’ Season 3 Is ‘An Exaggerated Version Of My Life’
Adlon nearly stopped working on her FX show after co-creator Louis C.K. admitted to sexual misconduct with multiple women. She severed ties and, after an extended break, decided to continue the show.

This Lucky Charms-Inspired Beer Is Magically Ridiculous
A Virginia brewery is dropping a new beer called “Saturday Morning” that is a winking tribute to old-school breakfast cereal Lucky Charms.
Smartmouth Brewing Company’s limited-edition IPA has 6.6 percent ABV and is “brewed with in-house toasted marshmallows and bulk dehydrated-marshmallow-bits,” brewery spokesperson Chris Neikirk tells USA TODAY. “It has been hopped and dry-hopped with Galaxy and Calypso hops.”
The totally sweet-sounding beer is available on draft or in cans, but only in Virginia. It’ll be distributed throughout the state to a limited number of restaurants, bars and specialty shops.
“The nose is sweet and citrus, with orange and pear aromas,” Neikirk said. “It has a soft pillowy body with a slight cereal taste.”
Not only does it taste like cereal and the label looks like a box of Lucky Charms, but “Saturday Morning” beer features “magically ridiculous” on the can, which readers of a certain age may recognize as a not-so-subtle play on the “magically delicious” Lucky Charms slogan.
“It is just a beer evoking nostalgia in adults who remember days when Saturday mornings were a time that you sat around watching cartoons and playing games,” says Neikirk.
And that’s not the only super-sweet suds the company has on tap: Smartmouth also has a Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Stout that has cocoa nibs and vanilla in it.
Doesn’t sound bad, but we want to try the Lucky Charms brew first.
‘Game of Thrones’ New Teaser Hints Arya Stark’s Reaction to Dragons Is Key to Season 8
HBO once again dropped a season teaser that a huge segment of its audience only mined for the footage from Game of Thrones Season 8.
Admittedly, the editors in the premium cable channel’s trailer shop chose some choice scenes—most notably, Arya Stark’s (Maisie Williams) apparently awed yet fearless reaction upon seeing dragons for the first time.
It’s probably overanalyzing, but that dragon-Arya connection is significant to fans who have paid close attention to the show throughout its run.
Esquire noted this and pointed out that Arya has always been into dragons:
If you’ll notice, everyone in the background is running scared, while Arya seems enthralled. That’s because she’s long had a fascination with dragons. In one memorable scene from Season Two, Arya talks with Tywin Lannister when she reveals her respect for the ancient female Targaryen dragon riders.
“Visenya Tagaryen was a great warrior,” Arya says in the scene. “She had a Valyrian steel sword she called Dark Sister.”
Watch that scene below.
Not only does this underscore the character’s interesting arc as a born noblewoman who wanted to be a warrior, instead—becoming an effective assassin in the process—it could predict the tenor of her feelings about the possibility of Daenerys Targaryen rocketing in on the back of one of her scaly children like a badass. Arya Stark would be into it.
Given the interesting relationship between Daenerys and Jon Snow, we may have a hint of where Arya’s loyalties will be when Season 8 hits the small screen on April 14.
