More than celebrities, influencers, and even some friends who shall go unnamed, I love following brands on Instagram. This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, seeing as I am obsessed with shopping and do so both for a living and a large portion of my free time. And, since these days Instagram is like a little cyber billboard where brands can show off and share their latest or upcoming offerings with consumers and editors alike, there’s no better way to find out about an about-to-drop new arrival before it sells out, or even get a pulse for what’s trending at that very moment.
With this in mind, I would love to take a few moments of your time today to share with you eight brands I think you should definitely hit with a follow before the end of 2018. From actually new brands that are blowing up quickly to under-the-radar legends I feel more people should know about, see and shop the eight that made the cut below.

Granted, I have only lived in New York for a year and a half, but within that year and a half, it has rained lot. Each and every time it rains, I find myself sulking in my own misery because of simple products I don’t own, typically thanks to my own laziness. So today, I’m here to talk to you about the importance of owning an umbrella! Just kidding. I’m really here to talk to you about raincoats. But not just any raincoats—the best raincoats money can buy.
I never really took raincoats seriously until I moved to New York where when it rains, it doesn’t just rain downwards—it somehow manages to rain sideways and sometimes upward too. It’s downpours like that that make your umbrella feel obsolete and ineffective. This is where raincoats come in, covering up a majority of your ensemble protects the weird parts of your body that an umbrella can’t, and that’s a fact. If you too struggle with this so-called downpour, buy yourself one of the following really cute raincoats and wave goodbye to your sorrows. With one of these on your back, no rainy day will get you down ever again.
The holiday season is in full swing and I’ve noticed that fashion choices are following suit. Right now, the fashion set is gravitating towards dress styles where the volume is turned up. What that means is you’ll be sure to see plenty of luxe fabrics like satin and velvet, bold pops of red, and feather-adorned pieces that all feel festive and a little “extra”.
After combing through Instagram, it’s clear that fashion girls are flocking to the buzziest brands for cool dress styles at the moment. Labels like Attico and Nanushka are dominating their closets, but they’re also making room in their wardrobes for pieces from newly-launched brand Rotate. Ahead, I’m breaking down the coolest dresses on the fashion scene now. Scroll on to see how fashion girls are wearing the dresses defining cool styles right now andthen shop them for yourself.
