Here’s the Best Way to Buy a New or Vintage Rolex Just in Time For Christmas

Up for auction today, a vintage 1971 Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 Double Red, which was at $27,000 as of 3 pm ET. Tomorrow the Vintage 1970 Rolex Red Submariner 1680 is on the block, with a starting bid of $9,000.

Let’s be real, these may not sound like “deals” to many, but these are Rolexes. In that context, a Rolex Explorer 214270 Mark I Dial like the one up for auction on Dec. 19 is a steal with a starting bid of $1,000. 

It’ll be totally worth it if you’re buying for someone else—or treating yourself.

‘Mortal Engines’ Internally Combusts

Hester (Hera Hilmar) and Tom (Robert Sheehan) conspire to throw a monkey wrench into the works in Mortal Engines.

Long on CGI but short on any real inspiration, this adaptation of a fantasy series about giant cities that roam a post-apocalyptic landscape quickly runs out of gas.

Here’s a handy conversion chart of general sizes for reference:

Sizes 0-2 = X-small
Sizes 4-6 = Small
Sizes 8-10 = Medium
Sizes 12-14 = Large
Sizes 16 = X-large

Side note: Bra sizes are a little more complicated, and have two components: The band size and the cup size. The band is the measurement of her rib cage, and the cup size is for how big her boobs are, and is the measurement of how much bigger her bust is than her rib cage and translates to letters.

For example, 34C = A band size of 34 + A cup size of C.

What’s her style?
